His predecessor uplifted the city and did 1000x more in the rural areas.
He has no excuse, he simply has performed very poorly.
This thread is a clear testimony.
Just take a look at the disastrous quality of the meagre projects he initiated.
No need putting a lipstick on anything.
The question is if he can redeem his image with the time he has left.
sullivan didn't do much in the rural areas

I love the greenery and calmness of the rural areas shown in those pics!

That Adada dam, is it a federal or state project? I do know the federal gov’t, over the past 3 to 4 decades, has cumulatively spent billions of dollars on dams in the north! Why can’t they finish this one in Enugu state....and if the project is the responsibility of the state gov’t, why is this so when dams in the north were initiated, built and managed by the federal gov’t?

It’s game-changers like this that Ugwuanyi should have ensured are completed, not minding whether it’s owned by the state or federal gov’t!

It was awarded by the Federal government. The design was that the federal government will build the dam, treatment plant and Irrigation facilities for Ada Rice Dry season farming, while the state government will lay the water distribution pipes from the dam to Nsukka town

EKULU PRIMARY SCHOOL ENUGU

This school is next to GRA, and used to be for the exclusive use of the colonial Brits children as their parents worked in the then Eastern Region. The Headmasters office is situated in the story building shown in the second pic! Adjoining it is the building that used to serve as the assembly hall during colonial times.

To be honest, i preferred how it looked before this renovation.....all white, and the roof was flat if my memory serves me well. All it needed was a lick of paint and a change of the fixtures and fittings. Nostalgic former pupils returning to have a look at the school will be a bit let down at the drastic change of that building. It's lost its colonial character and now looks like every other damned building in Enugu.

I won't be surprised if they've gone and 'updated' all those lovely red-brick colonial houses on Park Lane as well!

The last picture was the primary 5 block.
Ekulu raised up a chunk of the SE current generation in power and in different walks of life, and it's glory days spanned from to the 70s to the early 90s.
