[size=14pt]Lets wait till dry season when the water level will be low. power is usually steady dis period. most gas plants are not working so PHCN depend mostly on hydro energy.
House lets wait till dry season, after that we can now pass our judgement

You may be correct, but i was really hoping that PHCN and Barth Nnaji are doing something about our erratic power supply, as my power supply as improved so greatly as well as my electricity bill!!!!
Such that we are now so conscious of switching off what is not needed on, but like you said.. lets wait till dry season
Re: How Is PHCN Doing In Your Area? by Sweetlemon(f): 8:54am On Jul 06, 2012
I must say that there has been some improvement such that I haven't had need to switch on my generator for 5 straight days!
But let's not get too excited yet because in areas like mine, we have good and bad days. there are days when it seems like PHCN thinks there's a VIP lodging somewhere in our area and there are also days when it seems like we are not on their list! Let me wait till the end of the year to give my assesment

In lokoja, Kogi state we have been experiencing less than 2hrs power supply for the past 12days....tho they announced on radio/Tv that there will be problems in power supply for 15days due to them extending power from the power plant in Ajaokuta, kogi state to Abuja....I really dnt why that can't be done in a matter of days...I'm fedup...let's wait and see after the 15days (monday)

If having an Inverter is boasting, then you must be wretchedly poor..

Even the Aboki on my street has Okada battery Inverter for playing his radio... Get with the times my brother.. Inverter no be sign say you dey ball.

Give it to them, there is a relative improvement... I have visited towns/cities I am used to visiting before and I can tell there's improvement if only it be sustained and improved upon.

Re: How Is PHCN Doing In Your Area? by Nobody: 9:27am On Jul 06, 2012
Good to know that criticism is fading out of nl small small. Atleast we now appreciate it when things are improving.

Well, before I went on break (like 2 wks ago), light has been very good in kwara state(like 22hrs/day). Back in abuja, light is also fair in wuse. Bt I enjoyed electricity more in Ilorin.
Re: How Is PHCN Doing In Your Area? by 3poh(m): 9:30am On Jul 06, 2012
The electricity in my area;iyana-era/adaloko and its environs is very poor. We get to enjoy electricy for a few hrs after which they turn it off at will. They are still alternating the light cos of shortage of transfermers. Funny enuf, everybody is so passive as no one is ready to lay complaints at phcn's door step or talk bourit.
