oayombo: Op should get facts right before starting a thread. It's not a permanent tariff reduction. It's an ongoing promo on mtn pulse (that I know) and it runs till 31st July. 10k/s to all mtn numbers and 5k/s to a special number. Send the special number of your choice as a text message to 567.that has stopped working it worked till d end of june |

fork adict: About a year ago, I started a thread on MTN's greed, insensitivity to the plight of their customers, and abuse of the rare priviledge bestowed on them by their teeming customers, pride, amongst other other crimes. I compared their tariffs to other networks and pointed out that they were out to kill their customers rather than add value to their lives.i beg to distinguish a point...mtn stil has many packages with different tarrif and some with conditions... Never at any time in the history of telecom in nigeria has mtn lowered or reduced their tarrif as u alleged except on special promos so do not confuse people with this ur unverified unauthenticated fact |

Dear MTN users, how I wish u could do like my able friend way back in delta that I told about the cheat your network has inflicted on you. Mtn bb users are no. 1. Mtn gives only a meagre 200MB to their users for subscribing 4 1 month. If u are a type that loves to download I don't think that will be enough. I enjoyed using my Airtel BB plan. With 1GB, I am assured of downloading 2 movies in a month. Mtn users dare not try it. When it comes to call, with my airtel line I called any network with just 12 naira per minute. It is high time Mtn users freed themselves from the shackles of bondage they put themselves into. They r not indigenous company and their objective is to take huge profit back to south africa. Their vision is to use the profit collected to make south africa 1 of the most industrialised nation. Come to think of it, as MTN invested in any of the millennium development goals in Nigeria. I am not surprised; the so called NCC that should be in charge of supervising their activities have turned the work to lucrative avenue and demanding millions of naira.#Tongue out 1 Like |

I dont see any reason why u guys keep complaining about mtn, there are other networks with good tarrifs..ditch ur mtn line and get on board a new network abi dem tie ur life to mtn.. As soon as I got my airtel line last year, I stopped giving out my mtn no and also stopped recharging it. I only recieve calls on it while I make all the calls on my airtel line.. If u dont like it, ditch d line and stop complaining |

I only remember to use them when my BIS is off. I pratically bought a phone for my GF to talk on glo GBAM. If you say I love awoooof then try using Lebera in thε UK on which you get 100mins Lebera to Lebera for every 2.50pounds recharge. |

rman: Ok. na you and your employer fit reason logically abi? No worry number portability go soon show. Now you keep asking why people keep complaining about how forked MTN is a service provider yet you guys keep making money? Ill explain. You see like most people here have confessed, many of us have MTN sims implying your customer base is huge. We also confess to using the sims for incoming call alone and not outgoing calls and that we recharge once a while jsut to keep the sim active. these are the reasons why you guys havent gone bankrupt all this while. Cos even when we receive calls with this mtn sims, mtn get paid N10 per min by the calling network. On a scale basis, if you multiply this by an average number of call time per subscriber, multiplied by the number of subscribers then the amount accruing to MTN by their subscribers who only receive calls with their SIM becomes huge. YOUR DOOMSDAY WILL DEFINITELY COME ONCE NUMBER PORTABILITY TAKES FULL EFFECT. WHEN PEOPLE WILL BE ABLE TO RECEIVE CALLS MEANT FOR THEIR MTN LINES ON OTHER LINES. THIS IS THE MAIN REASON I WANT IT TO TAKE OFF AND NOT THE FREEBIES YOU SUGGESTED IN YOUR POST BRO. MATTER OF FACT, YOUR COUNTDOWN STARTS NOW 365, 364, 363..... |
