This is a great scam, I call it the #wondergate. In Novermber 2014 the Federal Government Approves N9.2bn Contract For Purchase Of 750,000 Stoves, 18,000 Wonder-Bags Under President Jonathan Administration, This scheme is one of the corrupt scheme by which GEJ and Family looted monies from Government covers in Nigeria, its Now almost a year and not a single Stove nor the wonderbag (an eco-friendly non-electric Portable Slow Cooker, which has neither plugs nor fuss) are found at anywhere in the country, the whole contract was a scam. This scheme would had reduced incessant felling of trees, which exposed the country to ecological problems, If operational. Read how GEJ approved the contract below: www.leadership.ng/business/391863/fg-approves-n9-2bn-contract-purchase-750000-stoves-18000-wonder-bags The 9.2bn naira was approved on Nov 14th and later diverted into the Account of the first lady on Nov 20th Last year thought the ministry for environment said the project was terminated, their was termination but the fund was not returned, it was diverted. This are money meant for the procurement of 750,000 units of clean cooking stove worth N9.2 billion and 18,000 wonderbags for distribution to rural women nationwide free. Today, I am asking the federal government and EFCC to investige the wonderbag and wonder stove scheme a wonderful way the nation was looted. #wondergate by @9jaclicktivist |

Victoria Yohanna is only 15 years old. The British House of Lords gave her audience to speak of her experiences with Boko Haram. She is one of the few lucky people to escape the clutches of the men who abducted her and 400 and something other girls, who were taken prisoner during an attack by a Boko Haram raiding party on the North-East Nigerian town of Baga on the shores of Lake Chad in January. Their captors ordered them to ‘convert to Islam or die’, and tried to marry them off as bush-wives to Boko Haram fighters. Victoria, who managed to escape, described her experiences to an audience at the House of Lords at an event to mark the launch of a major new report on the persecution of Christians worldwide. It was compiled by the charity Aid to the Church in need. It is believed to be the first time that one of Boko Haram’s thousands of schoolgirl victims had travelled to Britain to give evidence about their ordeal. The group’s use of women as chattels and sex-slaves gained worldwide attention last year when it kidnapped more than 200 schoolgirls from the North-east Nigerian town of Chibok, most of whom are still missing. The report highlighted the plight of Christians in both Africa and the Middle East in the face of murderous campaigns by Islamic extremists. It said that Africa’s Christian community – one of the few where the church is still thriving worldwide – is now under serious threat thanks to Boko Haram in Nigeria and al-Shabaab in Kenya. It also warned that if the current flight of Christians from Iraq continues at its current pace, the country could have no Christians left in five years time. Speaking to the London-based Telegraph newspaper ahead of the report’s launch, Victoria told how she was seized along with her mother and five siblings when Boko Haram attacked Baga just after New Year. The raiding party had split into three separate groups of “shooters, looters and recruiters” – the first to fight Nigerian troops, the second to rob local banks and shops, and the third to kidnap new recruits for the “caliphate”. “We heard shooting and the sound of bombs in the early hours of the morning, and at first I thought it was the Nigerian army trying to protect us,” she said. “Then I realised it was Boko Haram. Those Boko Haram members whose duty is to take women and children for their caliphate took our entire family and made us walk on foot to one of their camps.” En route, she said, she saw numerous corpses of people who had been killed and beheaded by the group, with bullet cases “scattered like raindrops” everywhere. She then spent two weeks at a makeshift Boko Haram camp on the outskirts of Baga, which by then was completely in the militants’ hands. “Every morning they took the hostages for training at Islamic school. They would say the Koran is the religion God had for you,” she added. Victoria said she was able to fool the militants into thinking she was a Muslim by pretending to perform the “buta”, a Hausa word that describes the ritual ablution that Muslims perform before prayer. There were Muslim captives among the hostages who knew she was a Christian but they chose not to tell the militants, she said. She and the rest of her family eventually escaped one night when the fighters went out to kidnap more people. “I knew what had happened to the Chibok schoolgirls and was very scared,” she added. “Were it not for God we would probably all be dead by now.” Victoria has been accompanied to the UK by Father Gideon Obasogie, a priest in the city of Maiduguri, where she is now living. He said that when he had first met her, she found it impossible to relate her ordeal without breaking down in tears. “The church has been trying to organise counselling sessions for these victims of Boko Haram,” he said. “Simply offering them confessional is not enough.” • Culled from the Telegraph, UK www.tapread.net/?p=331 |

Nigeria’s is estimated to have about 180 million people while about 45 percent of the Nigerian population currently live below the poverty line, or the income level needed to make a bare-essentials living in Nigeria. This figure depends on a number of factors, Below poverty income is currently calculated to be an annual income of N200,000 for a family of four. The social economic classes defines how far the economy is growing and how pronounced the poverty rate in Nigeria is. Below is a statistical survey. The Lower Class This is primarily comprised of lower-level citizens, white-collar workers. These workers are typically not educated, and lack the graduate degrees needed to advance to higher levels of employment, or have a degree but remain unemployed but manage to put food on its table. Income for these workers generally falls between N160,500 and N200,000. 45% Nigerians are in this category This category is trapped in the poverty rate of 45% The Middle Class They typically have post-graduate degrees and work at high-level, white-collar positions. They are mostly civil servant, traders and vocational professional: Household income for these workers is often above N1m naira annually. According to statistics, we have 15% Nigerians in this category The Upper-Middle Class This professional class workers, earn enough to be in the top one-third of Nigeria’s incomes. They earn above N4m naira annually, Nigeria have 15% of this category The Upper Class This income level is what is commonly called the “High Class,” or the 4 percentage of Nigerians who make more than N8m naira annually. we have about 4% in this category. At the top of his economic ladder is the so-called “1 percent,” or households that earn more than $15m annually. This category is mainly occupied by Politician and Business Moguls Minimum wages in Nigeria is N18,000. This social economic Class estimate was based on Nigeria’s N4.69Tn naira National budget for 2014, it is imperative that the management of national wealth and the reduction of poverty are the key questions of political economy all over the world today, Nigeria have to do more to bring its people out of poverty rate. by Michael Adebola Adeniyi @9jaclicktivist |

In contest for the game of the throne they were gathered but couldn't form a corium, just right about time they saw a crack In the wall of PDP their former household, they ran out they quickly looked for a new household and they found APC, Where Unity and Incorruptible was a pledge, they broke the firewall with friendship and little treachery, they Entered through the backdoor, Now the Fight against corruption caught up with them like a rapture. In no time APC was caught up in the web of garnering members from the PDP, APC finally Open his door wide for all, Without fearing intruding virus, In no time many like me were scared, and uncomfortable, we saw them as being corrupted, same old Evil and we only tried to pick one evil above the other by voting for APC Buhari, APC won and President Buhari told the world he his a saintly that would scan through, wipe away and clean virus of corruption out of the system, he started scanning government agencies and deleted some virus, he replace some hardwares by appointing new faces and now the scan and destroy Antivirus has reached the senate! Bukola Saraki and all other Virus will soon be deleted, Our National System is no longer vulnerable, I know one vulnerable system they can go to dominate, it the one and only Pentium M of corruption PDP |
Saraki has dined with the devil, with a short spoon as President Buhari’s Anti corruption fight caught up with his attrocities. How doth a man become an enemy unto himself, a man respected in its nation, a maker of the law dragged to court for breaking the law, he wept in his heart, among all his atrocities none could elude him, Karma is wicked Nigeria have gotten a change to its indiscipline and Saraki was found corrupt, he has no rest at all, His devils will not stop worrying him and they are in three categories. The first are some of his close fellow Senators (including that loud mouth Dinosaur from Kogi state), who continue to egg him on to grandstand 2. Many PDP members and sympathisers. Not because they love Saraki but as long as Buhari would be rubbished or lampooned in the internecine war of political attrition within the APC, with the hope that APC would be weakened in the process. 3. The third group are some sections of the media and some lawyers. Both groups itched together for pecuniary gains, have latched up with Saraki, they are the devils he took breakfast with after being brought into the light, truth and the way of a corruption free regime, he dined with them with a short spoon. These are the three sets of people that would sink Saraki, though they claim to love him. Some of these people might have advised Saraki not to appear at the CCT sitting the same way they advices him to take a deputy from the party the whole nation rejected. Now, we shall see the consequences. What does it take for him to appear in court where he would be given bail in his personal recognisance, particularly since he knows that he has no immunity even as Senate president? That would have saved him all these embarrassment an only If his present travail has the president’s imprimatur, then he is in for a nice dinner a long night in hell, Late MKO Abiola is an insight, it was a wrong move for Bashorun MKO Abiola to have rejected the “arrangee” conditional bail contrived for him by the Abacha government on August 5, 1994. Based on advice from some of NADECO friends, Abiola rejected the bail because of the conditions attached to it. If Abiola had accepted that conditional bail, he would not have died in detention. And some of those who advised him not to accept the bail conditions are still alive today, even done 360 degrees from the ideals for which Abiola died. The first day Abiola was arrested, bubbling with confidence, he told an associate that he could not spend two days in detention, that America and his western allies would not make it possible. But it was the same American friends that poisoned his tea. Such is life. So, Saraki would be the eventual loser if he gets sucked in by these so-called friends but who in actual fact, are his enemies, he would have a nice dinner in hell, an unending dinner, his Breakfast with this devil with a short spoon will get him to in hell. Why are workers still being punished by our leaders, most especially in the south west. This is a Simple Arithmetic showing why Osun workers should get a 9month Unpaid salaries from the bailout fund provided by the FG. see statistics 1.Monthly wages #2.3 billion. 2.Jacked up to #3.6 billion due to wage bills of faceless Lagos workers and big men on the State pay roll. For simplicity, let us assume that item No 2 is the wage bill. Now divide #34+ billion bailout by #3.6 it will give you 9 1/2 months wage bill. In essence, the bailout money for Osun State covers nine and not three months. Where is the remaining six months bailout money? |
Awolowo’s cap fits no head, they amended it, fabricated it, tried to woove it but made it shapeless, Now it fits no head, they took to his ideas but practising it was a problem and Behold, None can step into his shoes, they don’t have his brain, they don’t have his legs they can’t walk uprightly like he did. Pa Awolowo was an hero the Yoruba leaders had always want to be like, they wanted his policy, they used it, but twisted it and applied it wrongly, as Pastor Tunde bakare will always say, “They wanted his glass but they don’t have his vision, they wanted his cap they don’t have his brain, they cannot fit into his shoes. Today, those who govern the south west wanted to pursue Awolowo’s free education agenda, Awolwo’s fundamental, they might have put in place classrooms, books and all other aid but they forgot to put in place teachers salaries, Yet this same people benefitted from Awolowo’s free education, with lecture from a happy teacher not an unpaid unhappy teacher this is even if teacher do not leave their works undone, they have failed from the fundamental, Now tell me how Awolowo’s cap would fit their head even his spirit would not forgive them. This self acclaimed awoist stabbed Awolowo in the back. They have committed ideological parricide @9jaclkcktivist Micheal Adeniyi |
Dear Baba. Congratulation on your 100days in office, we are happy and we the youth would like to remind you that we youth are crucial and essential in any national development, most powerul nations in the world uses the youth in building social cohesion, economic prosperity and political stability in a nation with such an inclusive and democratic leadership, unfortunately here in Nigeria virtually all our successive government gives a damn, they give bairn-like approach to youths development, whereas youths are to be involved in building or developing a nation. Thus, the involvement of youth in national development is a must. In fact, youths plays one of the most important roles in nation building. Youth are not only the leaders of tomorrow, but also the partners of today but it is sad we are not partners in building our tommorrow. In the last election young people became social actors of change and progress. They are a crucial segment of a nation’s development, Alas, the government have no road map, no agenda for the youth, its not just about building classroom or sponsoring sporting activities, our jet clubs are not sponsored, inventors dies with their ideas in this country, We are yet to see an inventors and innovators union, Youths problem is not money. I can remember vividly how addidas is now making money with our Nigerian born youth, a shoe designer, What about internet guru philip emegualli? We the youths are filled with bubbling enthusiasm which has to be regulated and utilized the right way. This can surely ensure rapid national development. After all, all the people can only exercise their full potential when they are young and energetic. Youth is that period in which revolutionary thoughts spring to mind and these thoughts shape the world we live in. Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, is a living example. He had a revolutionary thought and he exercised his thought and look, how he has changed the world today! The policies and development works of a nation can only be carried out by the youth. As said earlier, they are the social actors of change and progress. They carry out the policies and do all the development works which older people are incapable of actually carrying out. I remember vividly how the youth used social media for Nigerias celebrated revolution, now yell me what they no fit do, Nigeria production industry lack processing and today we export everything we produce because youth are not equipped enough, Ask china why they became the No 1 economy in the world, its by empowering the youth, I hope the president reads this. This change Manifestoes can never be manifested without the youths It must be noted that most of the problems we face are also because of youth. It is true that youth have got energy, skill, hopes, and dreams and along with those the determination and exuberance but they also lack proper and critical thinking. Thus youth which could have been the pioneer of some world-changing act may very well become world-destroying terrorists. Thus, here lies the role of a nation and its government in guiding the youth to the correct way of living and in utilizing their vital energy and desire for the betterment of the nation. For this, proper education system and good political situation is required. Moral education is a must for this as well. If youth can be motivated and educated the right way, they surely can spearhead the progress of a nation and make the world a better place to live. Mr President we still wonder about our non existence in the change agenda we got. We ask what have the president done for the youth in its hundred days achievement, we want a blueprint Its a 4yrs journey that must start today, we must feel the change, The change we all wanted. Thank you. Micheal Adebola Adeniyi @9jaclicktivist |

StarrFMonline.com investigations have revealed that potential Isis recruits in Ghana hold regular meetings at a specific house around Palm Wine Junction in Accra. The meetings often take place on Fridays and Wednesdays. The potential recruits also, occasionally, meet on weekends, sources familiar with their operations have told StarrFMonline.com. The revelations come on the back of reports that a Ghanaian, Nazir Nortei Alema, has joined the Islamist militant group. The 25-year- old graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), according to the Daily Guide Newspaper, has thrown his family into a health-threatening stress, as he is reported to have joined the bloodthirsty group in Iraq and Syria. With a degree in Geography and Rural Development, he is one of the 10 suspected Muslim youth from Ghana who have finally taken the decision to join the terrorist grouping, whose stock-in-trade is public beheading of their opponents or those they regard as infidels. His father,Abdul Latif Alema , has also confirmed that his son has been having meetings with his colleagues who are also potential recruits at a hideout near the Palm wine Junction at Labadi in Accra. Meanwhile, the National Security has begun investigations into the matter. www.tapread.net/?p=2420 |
All religion definitely teaches moral and fairness, Man is a religious being. And, he seeks for explanations for phenomenal happenings on earth through religious inquiry. When we see the endless repetition of sunrise and sunset, we are filled with awe. The development of human embryos in the women’s wombs and the nature’s orderly systems of doing things are reasons why people believe that a supreme spiritual being created the earth. So, millions of people on earth today believe that the existence of God is a reality. In Nigeria, we’ve closet atheists. But, they risk being called unprintable names if they reveal their religious beliefs. Nigeria is filled with intensely religious people who believe that a transcendent being is overlooking and overseeing human activities on earth. Nigerians are predominantly Christians and Muslims; however, we’ve practitioners of African traditional religion in Nigeria who are the custodians of our native cultures. But, the colonization of Africa by white imperialists nearly obliterated African traditional religion. Every religion is a way by which people try to reach their God or gods. All religions are good as they do not preach hatred and blood-letting. But, some people feel that their religion is superior to others. Then, they will embark on winning converts to their religion through coercive ways. Now, religious bigotry and intolerance cause tension between Muslims and Christians in cosmopolitan cities where adherents of Islam and Christianity live together. Our nation has a sad history of religious violence that claimed thousands of human lives in the past. The memories of the maitatsine religious uprising are still fresh on our minds. One Akaluka was decapitated and his head hoisted on a pole for allegedly desecrating the Koran. Muslims and Christians still clash in northern states of Nigeria. Again, Boko Haram insurgency in the north-eastern part of the country is linked to their misinterpretation and twisting of the Koran. They want to Islamize Nigeria and enthrone Islamic theocracy in it. Consequently, the Boko Haram members who are with sanguinary proclivities have embarked on a killing spree, and our security personnel cannot rein them in. But, do the Islamic religious codes and laws encourage and support bloodletting and violence being perpetrated by Muslims? It is sad that Nigerians are intoxicated by imported religions. But, the doctrinal teachings of these religions are based on love. Jesus Christ, the founder of Christianity, brought the message of love to us. Did Prophet Mohammed, the messenger of Allah, instruct his followers to kill non-Muslims or infidels? Sadly, owing to nuances or differences in the teachings of the Muslim sects of Shia and Sunni, the Muslims in some countries are killing one another. And, some Pentecostal pastors in Nigeria with warped minds have twisted the teachings of Jesus Christ to achieve their ends. Some Churches have commercialized and monetized Christianity. They reduce the entire teachings of Jesus Christ to one thing: a means of making money. So, some Christians that have indoctrinated their members with prosperity message and teaching about miracles believe that pastors are vessels through which God can visit them. Many who believe are deceived. Today, women whose hairs are muffled in scarves are a common sight. They do visit pastors for prophecies and prayers regarding their childlessness. As our health system is dysfunctional, women with the problem of infertility are seeking solution to their problems outside the hospitals. Often, we are regaled with tales about how some ladies slept with prophets and pastors so as to become pregnant. These female desperadoes risk contracting STD in their bid to meet societal expectations and fulfill a cultural imperative. But, it is an indisputable fact that religion has been put to bad use in Nigeria. No religion is bad, but the practitioners of diverse religions have distorted and twisted the teachings of their religions to achieve their selfish ends. The onerous and cardinal duty of Muslim clerics and Christian ministers is to re-mould the character of people. But, are they performing this cardinal responsibility? No. While some Muslim clerics are radicalizing and brainwashing their members to become suicide bombers, some pastors are hoodwinking naïve people in order to fleece them of their wealth. Our current security challenges and economic backwardness are partly caused by the failure of religious leaders to lead by good examples and effect moral regeneration among us. Consequently, Nigeria is going to the dogs. Religion can be a force for national development in Nigeria, if our religious leaders can turn a new leaf, re-think their bad ways and play the roles we expect them to play. read more www.tapread.net/?p=2290 |
In the last 16yrs corruption has existed through various channel in governance we even have corruption in agencies like NNPC as free to air, most politician subscribed to it, it was itche free, they loved it and caused huge debt on our path, Now they are trying to runaway without paying for the huge debt they have caused for Nigeria. The channel of corruption is getting blocked daily, those who suscribed to corruption are looking for roots to escape, they stole from us, and forgot that they owed us, they contacted a peace committe to beg us as if we were at war, pay your (debt) gbese to EFCC, and go and sin Nomore, they went to Abuja unhindered straight into Aso Rock they protest against corruption, throughout the world I never see where a thieve protest against arrest, only in Nigeria. They protested against arrest, we are against it, and today 17th of August 2015, we are gathered at the Unity fountain marching into Aso Rock , should the corrupt win against the Anti corrupt, we are also taking a peaceful committe to the villa, Today we met with the Presidential spokesmen and we wish they convey our message to the president, we say No to corruption, we are not settling any fight, we don't want a stop to the fight against corruption, we want our politicians to stop subscribing to corruption, We want the government to stop corruption from being free to air. God bless Nigeria, and those who want a change, the change we all wanted. Micheal Adeniyi @9jaclicktivist |
Economy not down? why are workers not paid yet, why is the nation borrowing, why did 150bn grow wings |
According to Budgit @Budgitng Nigerian are unware of how their monies goes down the part of wastage. While Nigerian workers suffers unpaid salaries and arears the Nigerian senate enjoys Allowances of all sort. Budgit Just confirmed that the Nigerian senate, our current 8th NASS member under the leadership of Sen Bukola Saraki had spent N13Bn in 3 months of siting,Having worked for~ 15 days only, went on recess for ~ 12 weeks yet 109 senators got ~N36.4m each; 360 Reps share ~N25m each with a Total amount of~ N13bn yet no Bills have been Passed till date,.No service have been rendered to the Nation, senators shares this Amidst tight Economic condition across the Nation, well this is what happen when most communities across the Nation votes looters and corrupt men into NASS, as if they were unconcerned with what is going on in the nation the senate kept mute as workers are yet to receive their salaries for up to 6months in some state, pensioners are no go area in this case. Unlike the senate the presidency had ordered reduction in its salary up to 50%, had Stopped sponsoring people on Pilgrimage and tourism, had Obtained bail our fund for workers but the diverting spirit in the senate and the devourers among the governors have hijacked this monies for their personal use while workers suffers. The senate of just 469 people share 26% of our National Budget,A budget for over 160million people. Nigeria can do without all this spending by the senate, the nation has survived 3month without a bill at least. Without a gainsay Nigeria senate do not care about the economy, they are even planning to collapse it. As the president saves the senate waste, How can this nation move forward? Yes, secret service infos are not supposed to be for public consumption |
Intelligence report, intelligence trails and other secret security services are information that get to the public through hackings and whistleblowers in other nations of the world but in Nigeria our security give us the A-Z of their SOP, secret service Information and all sort of intelligence information, we get them all from Nigeria Secret Units. I just keep wondering were on earth will it be possible to share secret with your enemies and not get hurt with it,Nigeria special Intel unit have made various funny comment in the media of most recent. The media too do no help when it come to national security and how its information are disseminated, Just this morning Punch Newspaper Published "The Federal Government has been monitoring the social media accounts of Nigerians" those who are suspected of having links with various terrorist groups, including Boko Haram and the Islamic State of Syria and Iraq. The monitoring is applauded and welcomed but letting this secret out of the bag to the offenders renders the whole Operation Useless, I sometimes wonder if those who disseminate this report to the media think such people would keep using Social Media for their evil plans after reading such News Headlines, hell No, they would rather start organising physical meeting, you would realize you just promoted them from virtual meetings, They would use Bird to send letters same way drug lord uses bird to send cocaine in America, they would hire messengers and forget Virtual messenger and at the end of the day this security exercise won't yield much result. Blowing out this kind of information will sabotage the effort of the security agencies from apprehending Criminals. Let's say A Big No to secret services mess of exposing its next move, they are to apprehend not to scare. Micheal Adeniyi @9jaclicktivist |

Somewhere in Nigeria Oga jonah just woke from his slumber, he woke with a red eye, he looked worried like a man who just fought the lion in the dream, I can see it clearly that the little smile on his face is that of pure regret. What he regretted most was not reforming the prisons. He and those who served under him are praying to be taken to the newer Kuje prisons located in the federal capital territory, but they will be taken to Gashua. Where flies will rush into their cells to avoid the blazing heat. Those flies are not nice, they settle in clusters at the corners of ones mouth as if they were going to lay eggs. Ask anyone in Borno State/Yobe State. Saul's end! The disobedient king is in trouble, Goodluck had departed in Oga Jonah, he was wondering who kept the key when he was locked up in government at Aso Rock, was it Mama Peace abi na Madueke? oh make I call abati he said to himself, as he gesticulates like that of a phsychiatric patient, Finally he picked the phone and called Abati, 'Hello Abati,Can you call Madueke for me" Abati replied "The phone no longer rings" Oga Jonah dropped the phone, took a long walk down to Aso Rock,Ehm ha, Ehm ha, he shouted as soon as he saw President Buhari he shouted " they have finished me, they have finished me in lil keshs voice, My undoing was that I didn't know stealing was corruption, Some Nigerian wrote me that Oduah,Madueke, and many more stole I foolishly said stealing was not corruption, It is now that I realise they have slashed Nigeria account into two for 4yrs, Today i learnt all fellow robbers are lying lifeless in the hospital, I would definitely be called upon to give account, ha, Baba I dey beg you ooo, help me ooo, Buhari replied in Kiss daniels voice Laiye, return our money ni o, laiye, he stood up bounced up shake bodynand went to Baba Abdusalami baba Abdusalami called Pastor Ayo and Mallam shehu, they beg Buhari but Obasanjo came and sang grooving high to the sound gbese re oo, gbese re o, also in lil keshs voice, Buhari could not help but dance shoki to the tune saying, Return all the gbese and stop running after me, abi you no dey tire. Jonah what is wrong with you, return the money you stole o, at this point children of anger on twitter looked for a tin can, strikes it hard intermitently till it gives a bass sound @omojuwa @ayourb led the chorus in wande coal and patorankins voice "Our money, our everything"..loud and loud it rang, and Oga Jonah knew for sure that Prison beckons, it going to be too soon. Gone are the days when teachers might be taunted with the absurd statement that their reward is in heaven. What a hell is this . My article is penned down to cancel all cluelessness of our national leaders. This is to confirm that our leaders don’t learn anything from history to avoid the mistakes of the past whose negative effects are still undermining our development, The government have gotten a lot of rot to the educational system, a system that produces any other sector and personlities in the nation, without a doubt we are all products of a teacher. What is happening today reinforces fears that our national leaders don’t know how to do politics to enhance our democracy. Finally, Unpaid workers salaries after weeks of receiving Bail out fund from the FG by some state governors exposes the folly of the government and will definitely turn whatever goodwill it has in the ranks of Education into hemlock which will deliver a devastating blow to future generation because a hungry teacher will perform exam malpractise for money, would extort from student and finally suspend class tutoring, a trend that will hamper development, and a system that will produce people who passed through school not those who school passed through. The NLC and the government seems to have boxed itself into a tight corner and will, undoubtedly, join its predecessors as a failure in this regard. It doesn’t seem to be providing the incentives for redressing unpaid salaries, No follow up, It now months after bail out fund was provided workers in many state are yet to get a dime, while political appointees are getting paid before the end of the month, so whatsup? their reward in heaven?. Instead, government seems to be following in the deplorable footsteps of its predecessors, Please Shall our teachers labour in vain? Definately, they will sin and miss heaven were we all thought their rewards are stockpiled at, Let the change reflects in our educational system. Let our teachers and workers labour not be in vain, they work to gain. Micheal Adeniyi @9jaclicktivist |
