Towards the end of 2013, we witnessed exchange of letters which saturated the media. Ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo wrote President Jonathan accusing him of calculated attempts to destroy Nigeria. The president eventually replied him. While Obasanjo's own daughter, Iyabo Obasanjo wrote her father calling him a hypocrite and liar. Another letter is out.

According to Sahara reporters, Leader of Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force (NDPVF), Mujahid Asari Dokubo in a letter has called former President Olusegun Obasanjo the “Chief Assassin of all times”. He wrote this in response to Obasanjo's recent letter to President Goodluck Jonathan.
He also claimed that the former leader wanted him dead. Read below:

In a letter to Obasanjo, Dokubo, who has previously sworn that there will be hell on earth if Jonathan is not re-elected in 2015, rebutted Obasanjo’s claim that Jonathan is training a special killer squad to hit 1000 supposed opponents of his government.


Asari also claimed that Obasanjo was responsible for his recent arrest in Benin Republic, and that he had wanted him dead when he was President, but failed after several unsuccessful plots.

“I want to remind you of the startling move you made on my life during the momentous days, leading to the historic Isaac Boro celebration on the 16th of May 2005,” he recounted. At that time the Bayelsa state Government was under Chief D.S.P. Alamieseigha.

A 2-year-old Chinese boy named Xiao Feng underwent surgery to remove the undeveloped foetus of his twin inside his stomach. He was suffering from breathing difficulties with an extremely protruded stomach. The parasitic twin had taken up two third of his stomach and if left untreated could have led to his death. The Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi seems to be going spiritual these days. He recently said that he fasted and prayed for 10 months before he became the governor; saying that God and not man, installed him as governor.

At the Christmas day service held at Saint Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, Port Harcourt, the governor said: "As a government led by me, a government installed by Christ, if anybody tells you he installed me, tell him it is a lie. Tell him that I said I prayed for 10 months and I fasted from 6am to 6pm, calling on Christ to come down and Christ came down mightily and installed me as governor."

A Kenyan child, Jessica Wanza lost her way from nursery school in 2001 at Kibera slums in Nairobi. On Friday, tears flowed freely when her family was reunited with her for the first time in 12 years. They were all locked in an emotional embrace. What an amazing Christmas gift!

According to Ms Mukiti, Wanza's elder sister, her little sister got lost in 2001 when she was going home from nursery school. She was only 5 years old. Their mother was not at home and had left the responsibility of picking the child from school with her younger brother. My brother got there late and she was nowhere to be found.

“When I arrived home from school in the evening, I didn’t find my mum home and I was informed that she had gone in search of my little sister. We did not sleep at all that night because it was very traumatising,” recalled Ms Mukiti.

This is weird news indeed! Francis Karuri , a Kenyan prisoner cut off his own penis after he discovered that he would not be released from jail before Christmas. The death row inmate chopped off his penis after not being granted a presidential pardon.

He told his fellow prisoners that he would not need the organ anymore, Francis then chopped off his penis, continued his work, before he passed out on the floor in his cell.

Meet Queen Okafor, a young woman with an abundance of hair all over her body, face, hands, chests. Though born without much hair on her body, she gradually began spotting them at the age of 21. A young woman named Titilayo Odedele, strangled her 2 -year- old child, Opeyemi, because she could not afford a babysitter for him. I am speechless and broken hearted. Why would you kill your own child? At least there are motherless babies homes all around Lagos.

The incident happened at Ajagunro, Imota Ikorodu area of Lagos. She attended a vigil on Friday night, after which she intended to drop the child and run away, but she didn’t know what to do.

So after the vigil on saturday morning, She left the place, wrapped her son up in a cloth. When she saw that nobody was closeby, she put her hand on his neck and started to squeeze it till he died.

The 33 year- old former dancer with the New York City Ballet, is the creator of Ballet Beautiful, a low-impact exercise routine that strengthens and tones the same muscles used in ballet.

She trained Actress Natalie Portman in ballet for her Oscar-winning role in the 2010 film “Black Swan.” Now, in her 3rd trimester, Bowers stays active with her daily ballet workouts and hopes to inspire others with her pre- and postnatal workout series.

Ismaila Mansur Akolade is currently a 100 level student of Mass Communication at the University of Lagos. He had spent 10 years at the University of Ilorin, studying Medicine before quitting barely two weeks to the commencement of his final qualification examination.

His days at the University of Ilorin was saddled with constant failure, which ended up putting him at the bottom of the class. He decided to quit at the last minute. Today, Ismaila is neither sitting at the bottom nor struggling in his new course of study, as he currently sits in the 1st class category with a Grade Point Average of 4.71.
