naijaobi: I GUESS U STILL DONT KNOW THAT ANAMBRA BOASTS OF THE HIGHEST NUMBER OF MILLIONARES IN NIGERIA..AND MOST OF THEM ARE VERY YOUNG..HOW CAN YOU SAY ONITSHA IS HELL..ON WOT BASIS ARE U SAYING THAT.. WELL,IF ONLY U KNOW HOW MUCH U CAN ACTUALLY MAKE A DAY FROM ONITSHA,U'LL NOT SAY WOT U JUST SAID...NAWA 4 U O

ujchief: Anambra
i might not be able to highlight all the goodies of the state since i aint from there, but having schooled at anambra and spent over 5 yrs there, i can throw a little light on the state.
With exceptions of abuja and lagos, anambra is arguably the most developed state in nigeria, most states in Nigeria boast of just its capital and maybe, one more developed town, but anambra has many cities, and u hardly find a rural dwelling in anambra. From the capital, awka, to onitsha, nnewi, nkpor, ekwulobia, agulu and lots more.
Anambra has got lots of economic activities goin, so if u're a hustler and a hardworking guy, be ready to make cool cash.
Endowed with many high institutions such as Nnamdi azikiwe univ, awka, Anambra state univ, uli and igbariam campuses, oko poly (ekwulobia Lga), st. Paul's univ, awka, Nwafor orizu college of education, nsugbe, st. Paul's college, agulu, school of metallurgy and material tech, onitsha, the new posting policy could as well land u in any of these tertiary institutes.
Theres water available, light is regular (i can speak only for Awka), social life is great (i stil marvel at the number of hotels in awka alone), there are tourist centres such as the ogbunike cafe (went there for picknick once, but the fear of snakes kept me away from entering the frightening cave ), Agulu lake, onitsha bridge (the finest in the country ), u can visit nri, the ancestral home of igbos, and lots more.
Let me allow someone from anambra to do more justice to this, as regards state allowe and others
