I'm glad that ungrateful Napoli is losing today. Silly club. They don't deserve to win games after treating Osimhen, their best player, in this manner.

Without Osimhen, Napoli is just a mid club. Even Kvarastxuvwxyz cannot help them win games without the world-class Osimhen.

Napoli are so ungrateful.

Hoping we get Osimhen to join us as a TW deadline deal. He can really bolster the attack.

You get the time to dey reply Nairaland morons. See the daft comment the 'imbe' made about Wole Soyinka, who's worth millions and has attained the apogee of his career. There's something about this forum that attracts 'dense' people.

The site isn't even inviting to visit again because of too many daft people.

Very painful to read reports of the death of Onyeka Onwenu and Oba Adejuyigbe Adefunmi II, Oyotunji King.

Onyeka Onwenu was a such a talented, influential thespian and singer.

Vitinha played really well in the first half. Mendez was also exceptional. And of course, Leao and Ronaldo equally gave a good shift.

Leipzig man Šeško could only manage a shot on target, which Diogo Costa had no trouble catching.

If you're a scientifically minded person or a freethinker on this forum, you better exercise caution.

Seun doesn't allow members to leave this forum whenever they please. Nairaland has become something else these days.

One should be able to join a forum and leave quietly when it has become unwelcoming.

A001 lets see your picture if you represented at the event
Lols, I'm not really the social type. I only attend native festivals to commemorate the ancestors and for research.

But Ojude Oba has lost its core Isese elements due to the Yoruba version of Islam practiced by many organizers and attendees of the event. It doesn't appeal to me. Osun-Osogbo, Olojo festivals are real Isese events.

Have you read the report titled "Science in the age of AI: How artificial intelligence is
changing the nature and method of scientific research"?

I did last month. It's quite a comprehensive report on the use of AI for science.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution, also known as Industry 4.0, holds a lot of exciting applications that can make the world a much better place.

However, these benefits also have huge risks that must be spotted on time and mitigated.

Learn the history of artificial intelligence in this 1961 film titled "The Thinking Machine":

"We see how a computer can generate a Western story script, watch experiments in mind and computer research with children and animals, and hear a range of scientists, including Claude Shannon, Jerome Y. Lettvin, Douglas T. Ross, Ronald Melzach, Arthur L. Samuel and Barbel Inhelder state their convictions about the future role of computers in society. Film to HD transfer courtesy of MIT 150. This is professor emeritus Noam Chomsky, 95, who's a renowned social critic and about the same age as Wole Soyinka. He has been been absent from public appearances for about a year now and his condition just got worse days ago after experiencing a stroke, which means he'll almost certainly never interact with the public again.

Imagine someone calling an old man at that age to continue criticising and protesting against public policies, something he was known for in the past years. Obviously, that person is sick mentally.

The Wole Soyinka you're looking at will almost certainly be nursing one health condition or the other at that age which will only be known to people close to him. When you're around 80–90+, such is inevitable and often leads to the person's death eventually.

But na the same man go come lead protests for you as a youth. That shows you need psychiatric evaluation and help.

Ohhh. You are not even in Nigeria at the moment? Lol. It's very sweet to discuss Nigeria's politics aside the shores of this country........ Especially when you stay in tier 1 countries!!
Protests in the country are often politically motivated. Politics, religion are no-go areas for me personally. Science is my focus.

Anyone that leads a protest in Nigeria will have to get involved in politics sooner or later. That's why I called on Obi specifically.

I'm equally not in Nigeria but it seems I'll have to return to Nigeria and lead this protest myself. My intelligence and courage will see me through.

Baba,if the two most intelligent Nigerian of our time(wole soyinka and you) can lead a protest for us,we are doomed as a nation...
I'm not based in Nigeria. Also, I'm a scientist, not a politician and will never be one.

You can head to Wole Soyinka's house in Abeokuta and invite the 90-year-old to lead agile youths like you in a protest.

Obviously, people will regard you as someone in need of urgent psychiatric help. Old people like Wole Soyinka often battle health conditions, and calling such people to be leading protests in their condition shows something is seriously wrong with your brain.

Obi can't rule Nigeria unless he presents strong opposition to APC.

AirBere:
Many people don't have this intelligence but you have it. Why not start a protest in your area. Believe me if you start, alot of people will join you in this work of liberation. You don't necessarily need to be a political juggernaut to lead a protest. All you need is intelligence, courage and most importantly, don't be docile like other Nigerians.
I should return to Nigeria to come and start a protest? You must be daydreaming.

Ihebu4chelsea:
organizing protests against an apc government will cause so much harm.... They will play the tribal card and sabotage your effort.....
Organizing protests against the government takes a lot of intelligence and courage, which many people don't have.

Eventually when Nigerians reach their breaking point, people will still have to protest if things go on like this. So, it's just a matter of time unless things become cheaper, which looks quite unlikely.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by A001: 10:48am On Jun 15, 2024
Ihebu4chelsea:
i agree with you... But he can't do it alone. Wrestling power from Apc is not as easy as you think, Do you think Apc is even afraid of the next general election despite the economic hardship? They have all the tools to manipulate and decide results....... It will only take a miracle to remove Apc from central government
APC knows many Nigerians are docile and daft, so they don't rate the masses at all. If not, people shouldn't even this calm with so much suffering in the country and with so much thievery and wastage by the political class.

Ihebu4chelsea:
Peter obi can't do this alone. Reason i want him to merge with atiku in Pdp....
Yes, I made this point too last year. Both of them need to step up, especially Peter Obi because many youths still support him.

But he can't rely on just that and hope to win the next election. He needs to present strong opposition to the APC, organize protests, criticize the government more, which were the same things Tinubu did against Jonathan then.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by A001: 10:37am On Jun 15, 2024
Ihebu4chelsea:
series of protest against Apc government?
Yes, how do you think opposition politics is played? How did Tinubu, Buhari wrest power from PDP then? Anyway, Peter Obi can't rule the country with this attitude.

Nigerians need strong opposition to the APC now, and he's not providing it.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by A001:
Ihebu4chelsea:
What do you want him to do?
Opposition politics is practically dead in this country at this period. He needs to criticize the ruling party more intensely and organize a series of protests.

Prices of everything have skyrocketed, fuel, food, hospital bills, electricity bills, everything, and the opposition parties are quiet.

Nigerian politics needs a strong opposition to the wicked APC government.

Things were even a lot cheaper when Tinubu and his fellow APC people organized a series of protests during Jonathan's government.

There was strong opposition to the ruling party, PDP, then. Now, there's practically no form of opposition to the evil policies of APC.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by A001: 10:19am On Jun 15, 2024
Nigerians need a strong opposition against the APC, and Peter Obi needs to man up. He's too soft and not strategic.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by A001: 10:16am On Jun 15, 2024
There is no strong opposition in the country. Going by his current attitude, Peter Obi can never rule this country as president.

By now, he should have organized a series of protests all over the country. He's too docile.

The suffering is so much for the masses, and there's practically no strong opposition against the APC government's draconian policies.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by A001: 10:07am On Jun 15, 2024
See why no one in his right senses should be supporting Tinubu or APC: https://twitter.com/afrisagacity/status/1801858522063208926?t=9Thb3G1AZ6OQxtZ1tLFLmw&s=19

These people are demons in human skin. Academics really need to conduct special studies on the intelligence level of Nigerians because I don't even understand how everywhere in the country can be so calm.

Daft is an understatement here.
