He has barely spent one year in office. He don dey strategize how to become a sit-tight president. What's wrong with four years for a single term?

Tinubu wan use style enjoy three terms in office (12 years for two terms in the bill draft). Lols. Tinubu never does anything for the good of the common man. It's always about him and the greed for power.

Make the northern senators no gree. Useless bill

Breaking into Upwork now will take the kind of time I can't afford. LinkedIn has served me well thus far.
With your academic qualifications and skills, you'll find it easier. There's enough money to be made on Upwork if you've key technical skills, such as research writing, technical writing, academic writing, programming, software development, and the likes.

It's low-skilled people that find it difficult getting jobs on Upwork.

I'd encourage you to consider it if you've a valid means of identification, such as international passport, voter's card, digital ID card (NIN slip alone won't be enough), or driver's license.

Tourism is about attracting people with money which for us means International visitors. Making tourism the cornerstone of your economy was a dumb decision in a country without the ability to attract foreign visitors and where the local population in Nigeria lacks the disposable income, especially in the middle of insecurity that was going on at that time in Niger Delta and going on till today. In a state that lacks the supporting industries that make tourism thrive whether it's the food production or transport networks, that was always going to be a white elephant.

If you go to any mass tourism holiday destination today, you expect to have croissants, sausages, bacon etc on your table first thing in the morning, choice of various foreign foods in the afternoon and evening (Italian. Chinese, Paella, Seafood, Cheese, Wine, french pastries) etc with either local production able to meet these needs or imports flowing daily to meet these needs. You will find these in any holiday destination today. Your travel must be VISA free from the developed countries or be able to be bought in the plane quickly or on arrival with no questions asked. Return plane tickets must be £400 and below with direct flights, leaving enough headroom for travel agents to put together a package and pass on profit to the hotel. There are not even foreign flights to Cross River today. All these conditions above are met by holiday destination, even Gambia is meeting these conditions.

You must have supporting activities outside the resort such as water sports, water skiing, windsurfing, swimming with dolphins, helicopter rides etc also, not just lock tourists in a resort with armed soldiers making them feel uncomfortable

Below is Porters diamond (not 5 forces) which determines where countries put their investments. A simple example of the "related and supporting industries" section of Porters diamond is a country renowned in making wine will choose to invest in cheese-making since cheese and wine are often consumed together. "Demand conditions" means you have local demand that can provide a revenue base while you scale up. Calabar had none of these. Duke was a Capital fail.

On the other hand, Lagos knew that their strength lay in Business tourism and real Estate and they capitalised where they had competitive advantage. They saw insecurity in Niger Delta gave them an advantage and they guaranteed security in the Island. They have the port and the International airport, and they can even appeal to the foreign pallette. If you go to the major hotels on the Island today, you will have any European food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Go to Calabar and they will surely be asking you to manage edikaikong.

The origin of life on Earth lies in the stars, specifically stardust/cosmic dust, which in turn originated from the inner universe (the non-physical dimensions) known as "orun" in Yoruba culture.

We're stardust literarilly.

If you want to understand the origin of life, follow research studies in Consciousness Science, Complex Systems (cell automaton, Von Neumann's cell automaton), and Evolution.

You'll find the answer in those areas.

Thanks, bro. It's an interesting program. But I'm extremely busy at this period with some projects, and I hardly even have the time to visit Nairaland like before.

I may consider it in the later part of the year (Q4).

Loan out to where?

Nicolas Jackson should stay and fight for his place next season when a better is signed.

He has earned another opportunity in the closing stage of the season.

You just hate the guy
Yes, Jackson has earned his place in the team. He should stay and fight for a spot in the starting XI under a better coach, not Poch.

But Jackson seriously needs to work on his weak areas to become a better finisher.

Also, Chelsea needs a proven striker to lead our attack next season.

The kind of reception Prince harry and co are getting in Nigeria despite not being working royals just seem somehow to me, a treatment they can’t even get in their home country(UK) right now. If Prince williams or the king himself visit Nigeria, that means the whole country will just be shut down for him oh.

Just curious why Nigerians like worshipping foreigners.
The reason is simple: The whites have higher levels of collective intelligence generally than the blacks.

That's a fact, and there's nothing racist about it. Your observation is just one of the many pieces of solid evidence backing this assertion.

Whites have intelligent people and thinkers in higher numbers than blacks in the modern world.

A couple of months ago, I was studying the history of the whites, especially in Physics and Mathematics, and read the histories of Western thinkers, such as William Clifford (the brain behind Clifford Algebra), Abel (abelian math), Knuth (the brain behind LaTeX), Einstein, and many others.

How many of such people have Africans produced in modern times? Small. Even Africans won't allow such people to develop and excel unless they find a way to leave the continent.

At a deep level, something is seriously wrong with the African people, especially those ones that have been infected with cancers called "holy books" from Arabia and Israel, which make them despise and demonize their native cultures and traditions.

I love what this Igbo guy is doing reviving the Nsibidi writing system in his project called the Modern Nsibidi Project.

Yesterday, I learnt about the Nsibidi keyboard he developed, which can be downloaded online:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2ASYdxiKOM

Even though I don't know him personally, I admire his great intelligence, creativity, and courage embarking on such a laudable project, which he personally funds.

I'm almost certainly sure Yorubas also had their own indigenous writing system, as claimed by Otem some years ago.

If I was in the field of Linguistics or delved into it in the future, I could develop a native writing system for the Yorubas, with characters based on the Odu Ifa literary corpus, and not the Latin characters currently in use in Yoruba language.

It's not good for a people to rely on everything made by foreign peoples and not to come up with their own native (home-grown) systems.

The human brain is such a beauty.
The human brain is really wondrous, and there is still a lot about it that brain scientists and other experts don't know as of now.

The human brain is such a complex organ; all aspects of reality (Mother Nature) we perceive as real and solid are all products of imagination by the brain. Our technologies, cars, arts, movies, music, everything else are all pictures generated by the brain as these things don't really exist the way we perceive them to be.

They're simply consciousness and energy. Even the Universe as a whole don't actually exist the way we think. It's just an idea in the head.

It's the brain playing games on us because the majority can't see beyond the matrix — the three spatial dimensions and one temporal dimension (4D).

Thanks for sharing this, bro. This an interesting research area, which I'm currently doing research work on as one of the applications of Consciousness Science.

I believe breakthroughs will be achieved in the field of xenotransplantation in the coming years when scientists find a way to link different fields of Medicine together with other fields and disciplines.

There's a way to do this using Consciousness Science as a tool inspired by the Odu Ifa literary corpus, and we're building the application for that currently. We're close to completing the first phase.

Medicine (including xenotransplantation, genetics, and the likes) also falls under Consciousness Science in my approaches.

Obviously, the title race will be a closely fought one between Arsenal and Manchester City.

Clifford Pickover's 'A Passion for Mathematics' is such a fascinating book.

Along with 'The Princeton Companion to Mathematics', this Pickover's book is one of the best books of Math I've read.

Reading all these books, one can only but admire the infinite potential of the human mind in the mathematical arena.

This realm is noted for characters, such as numbers like natural numbers, real numbers, hyperreal and surreal numbers, complex numbers, hypercomplex numbers, and even much more advanced ones, such as Grassmannian numbers, Clifford numbers, and others.

These Clifford Pickover's books are worth checking out:

1. A Passion for Mathematics
2. Archimedes to Hawking: Laws of Science and the Great Minds Behind Them
3. The Math Book: From Pythagoras to the 57th Dimension, 250 Milestones in the History of Mathematics
4. The Physics Book: From the Big Bang to Quantum Resurrection.
5. The Medical Book: From Witch Doctors to Robot Surgeons.
6. The Mathematics Devotional: Celebrating the Wisdom and Beauty of Mathematics
7. The Physics Devotional: Celebrating the Wisdom and Beauty of Physics
8. Death and the Afterlife: A Chronological Journey, from Cremation to Quantum Resurrection
9. The Science Book: From Darwin to Dark Energy
10. Artificial Intelligence: An Illustrated History, From Medieval Robots to Neural Networks

Almost all of them are available for free online. Enjoy!

These were my thoughts too. I can't believe a so-called professional coach can be that dull. One kind mago mago seems to be happening in Chelsea games this season under Poch.

Sometimes, it's like he deliberately sets up the team or makes changes during games for the team to lose or draw.

The image below is from the Google Books description of the author, Donald Knuth.

I'm not an expert in functional programming. However, a brief glance at some concepts in Mathematics is enough for me to know how they can be applied in computer programming.

So, if you know the history of the development of programming languages, such as Julia, Wolfram Language, and the likes, you'd quickly understand the key role that number theory and many other concepts in Mathematics play in the development of algorithms (functions) in a programming language.
