Embiid is currently injured, AD up until the last half of game 5 was not. Acting as if there is no difference is hilarious. When AD actually became injured, we all saw how far his performance plummeted, be scored zero points from the field in a whole half, and was basically non-existent on offense in an elimination game.
So yes, there is a big difference between playing while injured and being injury prone.

And why are you acting like AD has not been a non factor late in these games. Games 2-4 he scored 3pts or less in the 4th. He's been largely a first half guy and whether deliberately or coincidentally has always vanished late in games

AD for all his sublime and elite skills is not exactly a bastion of toughness and mental strength. At the slightest discomfort he turns to shark food instead of maintaining a poker face.

Lakers players routinely got gassed in the 4th. That altitude is no joke, Ham made some errors too. He's a bit like Phil Jackson in that he let's teams play through bad stretches but I don't know if that is always the right move.

He will get more blame than he deserves but remember the Lakers led for 78% of the series. They lost to a championship caliber team. They probably overreact like in 2021 and fall further behind

There was an edge that just wasnt there. I cant fully tell what it was, but I think Lebron's nice guy, players best friend attitude kept this team complacent. I think its too late for him to change it though, and that is such a shame. The coaching wasnt that great, but honestly I think the team's attitude, including Lebron and AD was a bigger problem.
