Killer turnover by Tatum. It's a wrap Playoff Jimmy mehnn. All skill all will. When you remember guys like Harden would be ranked higher than him in basketball pantheon it just doesn't seem right |
This game tighter than a nun's vajayjay. Bloody hell 2 full minutes nobody can even score a bucket I think what's most baffling about this Heat team. If you saw them in the regular season you would never expect they would be able to hang offensively with the Bucks or Celtics and then it's not like they have any guys on All Defense but they just play on a string. |
Jesus. What is this Miami Heat squad? They just keep fighting |
Lool. Oh boy just like that the Heat have tied. Barely 3 minutes erased the 9pt deficit |
Celtics depth inevitably showing |
This Heat team is dogged af. They remind me of the 90s Knicks. Well drilled and stubborn like coconut |
CrystalTiger:It all makes sense when you think about how he completely vanished from the public eye. This is why every man needs to have a healthy bit of craze. Even if it's for self preservation. Nature did not equip you for emotional turmoil like it did women. Any woman stressing your life best leave her and demand custody of your kids, if that doesn't work omo leave anyway cos if you die the kids will still be fatherless anyway so prioritize your sanity first. |
A001:Hmmm. So he actually hung himself and they're in denial?? |
The Nuggets are a very complacent team though. I can remember against was it Timberwolves Game 4 or so I'm not sure, where they blew 17pts lead in the 3rd quarter, even vs Suns they had similar games like that. They will definitely give up huge leads that one is sure. Which is why you should have capitalized. It would have been so soul crushing if the Lakers came back to win a game that they only led 2-0. |
Maynmann:This is playoffs bruh it doesn't matter if you lose by 100 or 1pt loss is loss In fact I'd argue this was the worst type of loss for the Lakers. A game Rui and Rivers combined for 40. AD and Bron combined for 66 and you shot 45% from 3. If you had gotten blown out chances are the Nuggets come into Game 2 complacent and not needing adjustments. Could have easily played possum. Now the Nuggets realize they must improve. Not only that AD is facing another guy that can match his offensive output. Basically canceling each other out. In fact the aim should be to get Jokic off the floor as often as possible. That's the only way his 40pts will matter What you should be praying for is your role players to outperform theirs |
birdman:My mood is not down or up I've seen too much basketball to feel any type of way after 1 game. Overall the Lakers (phony underdogs) need to make it a low scoring defensive slugfest IMO. If it's by slowing the tempo and possession they need to do so. They're not winning if they make these games a shootout with the Nuggets |
Bronsexual groupies all in their feelings. So emotional. With praise comes criticism goofies ![]() |
birdman:What's funny is a lot of these fighters and fans talk about fighter pay, improved fighter conditions they all do the talk but when it's time to walk the walk they always fold. Dana will always thrive on divide and conquer. Same Jones that cried about being underpaid as well The same Jones that Dana trolled for being scared of Ngannou oh now instead of introspection and seeing that he's been where Ngannou was he's also letting his ego and self win when he knows deep down Ngannou is not scared of him at all Certain guys have conviction and see the big picture. Jones might be the UFC GOAT but outside the cage what happens? Ngannou's insistence on freedom by sticking to his guns at all costs should be admired especially by fans and lessons can be learned by the fighters as well. |
donlittle25:For every Jokic there's a Darko Milicic who went #2 Andrea Bargnani #1 pick ![]() |
donlittle25:Excellent pickup. Was wondering why they moved Monte Morris for him cos with the Lakers he was hit and miss but now with Murray back at 100% Morris became expendable. They will need big contributions from him because I don't expect nothing from Jeff Green old ass and that Braun guy? I mean isn't he a rookie. Can't expect much from him either. Unlike the Lakers who have a proper bench |
Roland17:Nuggets defense is papier mache. The Lakers and AD will feast. Key is Jokic and how much foul trouble can he avoid moving forward. Jokic likely neutralizes AD's production but he can't do it from the bench. So any game he gets into foul trouble the Nuggets will be in deep kak. AD has to keep being super aggressive and draw fouls this series cause if Jokic plays his regular minutes he just does too much else that he doesn't even need to score big to kill you, he can simply decide he wants to go for 15 and dish 20 assists. AD will be unable to match that |
donlittle25:We're not in disagreement. That's why I said if they can win both games in Denver then I like their chances because this Nuggets team I don't trust them with adversity. The Lakers keep fighting and don't know when to quit so I don't factor just physical. These Lakers are filled with dogs. They will simply not quit till the game is over From a physical skillset standpoint the Nuggets have enough to win even with the Lakers being favorites Why I felt confident if the Nuggets can win both games at home they win the series is because I knew the Lakers would give them hell, neither win was going to come easy. So passing that test would tell me about their mentals and put pressure back on Lakers. Nuggets will play loose with nothing to lose and this is where they thrive, when they have nothing to lose And you're right they will not just keep spamming 3s and hope for the best. I think this helps and gives them more ways to win |
donlittle25:Naah he's a professional, he sophisticated with it. In the early days of this thread we used to call him LeStats for a reason. That series I saw somewhere he scored 60% of his points in that series with the Heat down 15pts or more ![]() |
Android17:Lool. He's not as vocal and annoying as these ones I listed The issue for me sef is always how they rubbish these players even when they do well compared to how they down them when they struggle. They will tell you Lebron makes everyone better yet they will still blame the players he supposedly makes better when they're not you know, Better One was here earlier downplaying Kyrie. And that's how they do it. Once they win it doesn't matter how much the other guys contribute all glory goes to him. You had m0rons like Nick Wright giving him credit for ending Warriors dynasty pre and post KD. Meanwhile AD was on the team averaging 21 and 15. Kyrie in that Final averaged 27 points to Lebron's 29. Can you think of any other duo where two players contribute at such high clip and one player gets all the credit |
Roland17:It's always someone else's fault. And the thing is Lebron has mastered the art of putting up gaudy stats that you couldn't possibly blame him when they lose. Even me wey be Jordan guy I have to watch in awe sometimes. Cos someone pulls up the boxscore and sees it 10 years later and will say well he's blameless in the loss Not that he overall played badly but even in his younger years there's many games that if you didn't watch you would say he gets unfairly criticized |
Android17:That is the deal and price you pay when you sign up to play with Lebron. With shills on media like Perk, Cowherd, Draymond, Tristan, Shannon, Nick Wright and JJ Redick. Your legacy is permanently tied to someone he helped win a ring. Doesn't matter what you did on the way. Dwyane Wade is lucky he was a FMVP before he teamed up. He would probably not even be in the top 5 SG conversation |
Roland17:Hahaha I was only motivating him. He's the one that chose to spend his basketball prime under Daddy Lebron making sure he would never get his due credit when he wins but get all the blame when they lose. We literally had Bronsexuals on Twitter asking AD to get traded that he was wasting Bron's final years |
This is actually the Best case scenario for the Nuggets. Blowout win would have made them feel comfortable and head in the clouds. Now they know what it's going to take to defeat these Lakers. You're going to have to literally kill them before they go away For the Lakers it's good for your mentality and culture but frustrating. You have to start from scratch Game 2 and all that momentum gone Game 2 is now must win for the Lakers. Because Game 3 they will be under immense pressure while Denver would be playing with house money. |
Lmao. Where is donlittle? I kuku told you Anyway this is good for the Nuggets. If they win it would mean the Lakers have wasted efforts to recover while they show ability to handle adversity |
Wow. If the Lakers steal this one. It's Joever. The series is on the line right here |
Really if you're Denver you just have to say over my dead body. Time's up old man and take this opportunity. That's what it comes down to |
iLoveYouToo:Lakers will always dominate the paint. The difference is the Nuggets at least have some size and can compete even with less athleticism The free throw disparity will also not be there unlike the Warriors series. I still think Lakers have the edge but Denver have more tools to defend themselves than the Warriors did |
Khanben:I strongly doubt they will. At this point he's probably their 3rd best player |
Roland17:I've noticed there are some really good players that routinely get underpaid everywhere they go. I don't know if it's their representation or whatever but they just never get their worth relative to their contemporaries, just look at that same team Aaron Gordon is there and probably makes 3x more despite his very limited skillset |
Kai so Austin Reaves is a RFA. Which means Lakers can match. This is someone the Mavs should have gotten oh |
Now we find out what stuff the Nuggets are made of |
A40:It's that Lakers depth I was talking about. Nuggets defense is suspect. If just KD and Booker could cook why would you think the Lakers couldn't? Hachimura and Reaves balling |
