Even tonight’s game, Lakers take a 1 point lead at the start of the 4th quarter and Nuggets still hit another gear when I thought they will fold.

The experience from winning past games were extremely helpful. You can see unlike the Warriors series when those ones went down and you looked at their body language and knew they had no way back the Nuggets never looked like that. The confidence they all played with.

And enough has not been said about Bruce Brown and KCP. If the Nuggets go to win the whole damn thing their GM should get a raise for spotting those guys. They didn't just hit shots, they hit timely shots that put pressure on the Lakers

I think they were beaten out of the court first before they got beaten on the court. They only got to the Conference semis due to Sacramento's inexperience, me I knew they had absolutely no shot at beating the Lakers

Poole has to take this summer to properly learn team basketball all over again. He relies solely on flash and plays like an AAU kid. I'm not seeing any sound fundamentals when I watch him play. That's why he carries so much and is essentially useless when his 3pt spamming is not working

Draymond is a lost cause. He is compromised as far as I'm concerned and they absolutely have to let him go

Would probably keep Klay if he takes less pay. He's a good culture guy to have on the team and very low maintenance. With proper rest I think he can fully heal even more. His type of game ages well.

Looking back now. It was so crucial the Nuggets did not drop any of those close games at home. That's why I was laughing at all those clown pundits that said the Lakers had found something and how Game 1 was a moral victory for the Lakers. I specifically said it was the worst possible outcome. To come all the way back and still lose anyway?

It would have been better they got blown out and then come back to try and steal Game 2 from a team that might underrate them

Now the other team has belief and you can see it showed. Each time it got tight, each time the Lakers took any type of lead the Nuggets came storming back. This series and the Warriors is not entirely different, with the dodgy calls and what not the difference is that even with foul trouble no panic, because they believe they can beat these guys and more importantly they've shown and proven it in close games

Now if they could just offload Will Barton and Mason Plumlee they would be perfect. The issue is what do with Millsap who would be a useful veteran mentor, do they pick up that heavy team option for one year or try to get a marquee FA with that money

I didn't overrate or underrate them. I specifically said it that the Lakers absolutely have to win a game in Denver or forget about the series.

My worry with the Nuggets was their depth but their role players have been on fire this whole series. They're far more dynamic than the stale Warriors.

I'm actually happy for them cos I've been watching this and predicting greatness for this Nuggets team for a very very long time.

Yeah I gave my caveat. Win either Game 1 or 2 and they're good. If they lose both though they will lose the series. Your edge over the Nuggets is not as acute as it was over the Warriors.
