A40:Mark Cuban I hope you're watching. These are the guys you get to play around Luka and you allow Kyrie walk |
benji93:They are overmatched. Who do the Grizzlies have as good as Schroeder, Hachimura and Reaves as 4th, 5th and 6th options |
Austin Reaves is cold blooded |
Roland17:They said Lakers are the underdog ![]() Over 25 years I've been following basketball. Lebron is the only alltime great I've seen that no matter how loaded his team is and how underhanded the opponent is he's always the underdog. Doesn't matter if he has top 75ers and HOFers, Final MVPs. He must always be the underdog |
A40:If the Grizzlies are serious in the offseason they will go and get a 3 and D guy that doesn't think he's Kobe. There's no rational explanation for Dillon Brooks taking 6 shots in a quarter on any team trying to win games. He doesn't play well enough on defense for that |
I hope Pelinka gets his flowers for the depth and elite business he has done with the trades. Hachimura has been a fantastic pickup |
Honlucas:He's back relax |
larride:That's why I said the Warriors had no business losing that game. Considering how well Poole and Wiggins played. Teams are not afraid of Golden State like that oh. |
benji93:Remember telling certain individuals on this thread he was a perma crock. Let's hope he stays healthy so no excuses |
Honlucas:Water is wet. Just AD being AD |
Quite the battle this Lakers vs Grizz matchup. Game 1s are usually feel games for Bron but the key thing in this series I'm seeing already is if JJJ can be efficient for the Grizzlies. Dillon Brooks in early foul trouble is a blessing in disguise, he doesn't get the opportunity to shoot his team out of the game Let's see if Jackson can stay out of foul trouble while reducing the offensive load on Ja. He's the only one Grizzlies have that can slow down AD. I still give the Lakers the edge because they are the much deeper team |
I'd be a bit worried if I were the Warriors. This was a game to be stolen. And judging by how poor they've been on the road they absolutely had to have this game IMO. I doubt Sabonis would shoot 25% from the field the rest of the series. So they basically won on the back of two guys playing exceptional. What happens when others also play above average. If the Warriors go down 2-0. Hmmmm |
Fox almost undid all his hardwork. The last two possessions. That missed free throw might be expensive |
Warriors have no answer for Monk and De'Aaron Fox. They just might steal this game despite Sabonis disasterclass Centers have no excuse to shoot 25% from the field especially one that doesn't take 3's. And have much smaller defenders on you |
Sabonis butt clenching. Can't even hit free throws. This is a guy that would triple doubles for fun Regular season basketball really is a joke ![]() |
Nice gbas gbos btw Mitchell and Brunson |
I hope Mark Cuban is watching this game and seeing his bad decision playing out on the court |
What have we done? |
Roland17:We plenty wey dey miss playoffs. Finally clueless Hextall has been chased out of town It was an end of an era seeing Jonathan Toews bow out. The day Crosby signs off I'm dreading already Maple Leafs must be sick of the Lightning at this point. I want to see how creative the Maple Leafs are going to lose this series this time Avalanche are missing Landeskog. It's going to be hard though the West is weak. The East is the bloodbath conference. The Bruins are favorites IMO but in hockey regular season records usually count for nothing |
I still give Lakers the edge sha. Don't know what you guys are on about. If Steven Adams and Brandon Clarke were healthy then that's a different story |
raumdeuter:Lol I consider Sane a bust already. Prayer ke? |
Khanben:Huhh? Charles Barkley was pushing 300 pounds. I don't know where you heard him say he was never as heavy as Zion because Charles Barkley's weight issues were well documented and he credited Moses Malone for getting him to lose weight I believe you're making excuses for Zion as well. Do you really think he wouldn't have found a way to get in shape if he wasn't a lottery pick? You think he would not shed some weight if he was some undrafted player unsure of his next contract? Bro. That guy needs to drastically work on his body. I've not seen him shirtless so it's impossible to tell if his weight is a byproduct of muscles. That guy I'm seeing is not muscular. Same way Shaq was not muscular just big. Muscular is Dwight Howard, Lebron, Karl Malone and Shawn Kemp What I'm seeing on Zion is baby fat he's unable to shed |
I didn't know Mane was Draymond Green in disguise Let Dana White book a fight let's crown the biggest bust in Bayern history between Sane and Mane |
Roland17:What type of hamstring takes 4 months to heal? The truth is players are starting to use mental health and feelings as a crutch to just flat out not play. I heard there's a weight clause in his contract and perhaps that is what is causing him all of this. How hard can it be to just eat lean and eat clean so you can maximize your talents? No be person be Charles Barkley? Who was even heavier than Zion. What name didn't they call him? Round mound of rebound, Leaning Tower of Pizza, Boy Gorge, Wide load from Leeds That's why I said previously that teams have to start evaluating beyond talent otherwise they will get burned like the Pelicans are being burned now. |
A40:I no fit shout ![]() |
Roland17:It would all make sense. Considering most people thought he didn't want to be there anyway. If I'm the Pelicans I would look for who I can hoodwink to pick him up on a trade if he doesn't perform or stay healthy next season |
Roland17:Cejudo on a normal day I consider a highly cerebral mind when it comes to fighting but the hate towards Izzy had him sounding like a casual. The problem is people looked at the result but didn't actually watched the fights and I'd understand it if it were some random casual but Cejudo should have known better. It was all mental. Izzy is the more skilled fighter, he's faster but Pereira had the power edge, despite that Izzy came close to finishing him twice and for some reason everyone missed that. I think what people don't know is Izzy is a counter puncher. And one very overlooked aspect of fighting is that while you're throwing blow is actually when you're at your most vulnerable it's purely a matter if the other person can keep their composure to fire back. 95% of the time it's usually not the case but the 5% of the time you see how devastating the knockouts can be |
Roland17:When you remember Jordan came back from a broken leg and refused to let his team tank. We just have to agree these new cats are different and don't necessarily play for the love of the game. The sooner these teams do their homework and not just look at talent but whether they love the game? The less Ben Simmons and Zion's we're gonna have I bet you if he hadn't been paid he would have come back to play I mean I talk a lot of slander about LeNomad but you can't question his love for the game. You can't doubt that it means something to him. The guy played 45 minutes in year 20. And we have a dude who's missed more games than he's played since being drafted saying this? I have a sneaky suspicion too that he might want a trade away from the Pelicans |
Unrelated. Why is Cejudo crying more than the bereaved. Seems like so many people wanted to see Izzy lose. I get Whittaker being upset but dude you're a bantamweight you want to go avenge for Pereira or what |
Anthony Davis. Why foul him there. Insane composure by Conley to make all 3 free throws considering he ain't made one before |
Khanben:Might be that but they just look stale to me |
Schroeder has iced it |
