The issue with Kyrie is not even his ability per se. It's about the buy in required to win, the selflessness it will take. Kyrie does not have it in him. In a way that 2016 chip is a gift and curse cos he's a made man for life and that's the fact, however that urgency and the will to win on the court has been replaced by the desire to be a cult hero of sorts off it

To be a serial winner basketball has to be your one and only. I don't get that with Kyrie

Any GM dumb enough after seeing what happened with the Nets and Ben Simmons to hand Kyrie a huge payday only have themselves to blame.

I can't see any realistic possibility the Mavs make the postseason. Even the play-in. Kyrie is just an awful fit, with Dinwiddie and DFS at least their availability was never in doubt. This team is just a mess from the defense to Kyrie and his empty calorie stats and unavailability

I don't know if it's poor form or formation but we are not getting the best of our forwards not just Mane. Sane, Gnabry have also been struggling.

We are a different team to Liverpool in the sense that we are not a transition attack. Mane thrives in space and against most teams he's simply not going to get that. The injury also is a factor

I'm curious to see how we play against City. Do we cede possession and try to hit them on the break? We certainly have the players that can do damage

You were right baba. Edwards pretty much used the same play book from the 2nd fight and refused to allow this fight go to the mat. Edwards also has a strong chin, he took some very good shots including body shots but stayed up. What is happening to our Nigerian fighters? They are all dropping like flies in the MMA.

It looks like Edwards improved and Usman stagnated. He turns 36 so that might be a factor.

Edwards is a very solid fighter. There's no part of his game that looks or feels exceptional but he's smooth and there's no wasted motion with him. He's above average at everything. The second fight was a missed opportunity. Most times when a younger fighter beats you in the rematch it's much harder for the older guy to win

Lol I feel styles make fights. I don't want to say our fighters are too distracted and too concerned with fashion. I just think like Adesanya, Usman ran into someone that's a bad matchup. Unfortunately Usman does not have the versatility of a Jones and is not blindingly dominant like Khabib to where the matchup issues don't matter

I hate that he retired. He was the most dominant by far and the only guy that you cannot argue he lost any fight he was given. With Jones you can point to the Reyes fight, the PED allegations but Khabib was spotless and there's not a fight you saw and thought Khabib loses. Even now you look at the LW division and you still ask who beats him and how?

What these elections are showing is that this our democracy is a charade.

What Nigerians need to understand is that parties that rig their way to power do not owe you anything when they get there.
