You can't trade them without taking back almost equal Salary, then you have to consider their value is not high in the market.
The warriors have two options
1. Let them run down their contract
2. Extend their contact

A team clearing cap space will definitely take expiring contracts of Klay and Dray.

I will be shocked if they both wind down their contracts. It makes no practical sense to extend both guys. One of both will surely experience slippage and will be pushing 35 by their next extension

Honestly, I thought any serious team would behave the same way GSW did. Bend to media pressure at your own risk. You allow it once, you put yourself in a hole you may never be confident enough to get yourself out of. They said they would handle it internally and they stuck to it. Sounds like a team in control. Barring injuries I don't see how the Warriors are not favorites. Of course they might ultimately fail but it won't be because of the incident. If the Warriors will be able to keep Poole, Wiggins, Green then I don't see the point of a salary cap. Someone is going to have to go regardless

I don’t think Poole said anything was out of bounds when it comes to banters. Those were banters and not insults. I have watched semi pro teams train and you will not imagine the sort of banters that go on.
