nateevs:To be fair Madrid didn't park the bus that day. They actually came out to play. It was on subsequent meetings they started doing so |
nateevs:Baba this is easy to do when you have Eto'o Messi and Henry with Iniesta and Xavi conducting the orchestra. You don't carry that pattern with a team you just started managing less than 3 months. Just look at Bravo, what silly stunt was he trying to pull there? His last two results at the Nou Camp are 0-7. Atleti packed bus and scored twice. Playing 1-1 and 2-1, and its not even about packing bus but just showing some defensive nous and organization when faced with a team with equal or superior firepower. Combined 360minutes at Bernabeu, Calderon, Nou Camp. 0 goals scored 9 conceded. I defend Pep on a good day but he shouldn't be getting crushed that badly with our squad and City's Infact what these numbers show is that he is neither attacking nor defending. Just losing |
raumdeuter:Alonso has to sit! I don't get Carlo's affection for oldies. There is need to also work on that gulf between the midfield and defense. Part of the problem is tactical and part of it with the midfielders just not doing enough running I would like to see a 4-2-3-1 or 3-4-1-2. Just anything that pairs or puts Müller just behind Lewa Kimmich/Vidal Kimmich/Javi. Enough of this single pivot megedefegede |
raumdeuter:The player turnover is too much. I see Klaus Allofs handwork again just like he wrecked Bremen. No club can seriously compete when you lose that many players and at the worst possible time Wolfsburg should have given Hecking a bit more time. That squad get as e be. Didavi was their only decent buy in the summer and he is now injured |
Wonder why Wolfsburg sacked Hecking. Sold De Bruyne, Perisic, Naldo, Dante, Dost, Schürrle and brought in a washed up Kuba and Mario Gomez. Were they expecting miracle? raumdeuter:Hummels case is looking like that Small Doctor song. Aja n sare owo n jonaa I have not seen any display that suggests he is worth the €37m we spent on him. The other day Torres wey don lana kpiti dribble am sotey he siddon like thief wey dem catch for Crimefighters We shall see sha. Its still a World Cup winning CB partnership so its worth another try |
FBS:Chale how many poles and race wins did Rosberg have before the 2014 season? Unless you want to tell us Hamilton's driving ability somehow levitated Rosberg's abilities as well then explain how he suddenly became a title contender? You are actually contradicting yourself and endorsing my assertion. If you agree Rosberg is not all that then why is he the front runner this year and runner up last two years LH is not the best out there. He is merely driving the best car out there. He had a competitive car at McLaren yet he didn't deliver bar the 07 and 08 season. Should Rosberg win it is because he deserves it |
Donlittle:I no really send pre-season like that. Not caught up on any of the games Looking to see what Justin Anderson and Powell can deliver as well. Seth Curry has always had talent, motivation has been his issue Cautiously optimistic this year. The general consensus is Los Mavs are not a playoff team but I trust Rick to pull a rabbit out the hat. From 4th to 8th seed is open season IMO |
FBS:What did you expect 40something year old Schumacher to do with car that was not even the fastest on the grid? Guy if them give me and you that car we would win Championships. That car is the fastest on the grid and it is not even close. 55 races and only thrice has Pole Position not gone to the Mercs. Shuu I don't recall having an opinion on Hamilton's exit but assuming I did, The evidence of his having the comically fastest car is overwhelming. If he wasn't at Mercedes Rosberg would be double world champion |
That Thiago Traumpass for Robben's goal. Atewo!! |
raumdeuter:If Barca do a double on City and Gladbach beat Celtic again. Say what say what anything can happen raumdeuter:Hummels blockus dey block apoche cra cra's line of sight. Let's just hope he improves |
pelvicky:Ehen Uncu what were you saying? |
FBS:His career was not very much OK. He had stagnated and needed a fresh start. Fortunately for him he joined a Mercedes team that had just developed the fastest car on the grid. So no Mercedes are not dominating due to LH. LH is dominating due to Mercedes which explains why even Rosberg is now challenging for a title. When a middling driver like Rosberg is all of a sudden amongst the title challengers for 3 years straight. It just shows you how much faster the Mercs are compared to the field If Ham stayed at McLaren he would retire with just one title. FACT Some of the blame with the engine failures have to go to Ham. He has had spells of not managing his engines well enough during practice and qualifying. That is why he ran through them quicker than most |
Pataki:Ogheneme!! This Pataki Bobriskyy is a very phoolish fellow. Where in my post did it suggest I was referring to just this instance? Chimoo. Do you not have a lengthy track record of asking me phoolish questions? Better get to a strip pole before your thinking faculties shut down completely. Ozuo E lo bi igun bo se pa lori and stop buzzin in my ear like an ekpan fly. Awadacious eranko |
airmark:OMOGO. If you were Ibo your name would be OGO-Chukwu You are so brainless you don't even know to hype a player when their stock is high. An entire article on cyberspace was largely dedicated to Hummels's poor defending in that particular game and you are here phoolishly bleating like the apoche cra cra you are. If you must pick a game to discredit Boateng at least be sensible enough to ensure it isn't a game where Hummels played terribly as well |
raumdeuter:Vidal is injured. He is surely out for Wednesday. Even Saturday vs Gladbach is doubtful. Tbh Vidal is the only reason they are still in the running for Russia, he has scored their last 5 goals Ahh Kroos and Modric na even creative overkill. These guys create and also dictate the tempo of the game. I don't know how much of that Javi-Vidal and Kimmich can do but I'm willing to see us try it out. I would try a Müller-Thiago-Vidal or a Vidal-Kimmich-Thiago tribeca |
afrodoc2:I think JJ had enough on defense. They have been top 10 for a significant period of time. Their problem was on offense. Foster was always injured and they don't have a passer that can fully unlock DeAndre Hopkins. Clowney for me would be good not great. Always thought the hype over him was OTT Lmao Flacco thought he was elite. He had a terrific playoff run but that Ratbird team was awfully loaded. T-Sizzle, Ed Reed, Ngata, Pollard, Ray Lewis on defense Anquan Boldin, Torrey Smith, Ray Rice, Osemele, Pitta on offense. As some retired and others left during Free Agency him yansh open. Dez na big time distraction. The Cowboys have too many parts, that their rookie running back na beast. Alfred Morris was a nice steal too. They have a solid O-Line and their rookie QB who knows how to protect the ball. They need to let him know the team doesn't revolve around him anymore |
Pataki:Lmao. This phoolish cross dressing go-go dancing gypsy is having epileptic seizures again. Ewo ni weyrey everyday Bobriskyy? Go and perfect your pole dancing skills and stop asking these ret@rded questions |
raumdeuter:Vidal's injury seems pretty serious. Plus his form has not been exceptional tbh. Anybody but Alonso in that middle is fine with me My worry with a Martinez-Kimmich and Vidal trio is where the creativity would come from. We would be heavily reliant on wingplay Müller has been shining for Germany since the Euros. I don't know maybe the quality of the opposition has a role to play but let us pray for Robben to keep being fit so we at least don't have to play Müller at RW I no go mind Carrasco rara. Only issue is his goal scoring but perhaps that's due to Atleti's system |
raumdeuter:Hummels is very elegant on the ball. His pairing with Boateng makes it pointless to continue playing Alonso. We are fortunate to have two of the best ball playing CB's in the game which is rendering Alonso's role redundant. I'd try a Kimmich-Thiago-Renato midfield just to see if we can add a bit of a spark. We can't continue with our present predictable system. Its early but we need to start earmarking targets for the summer. Guys like Alonso and Ribery need to start looking at China or MLS. I know it is funny since Ribery is our leading assists provider in the league but if we want to remain relevant in Europe these guys have to go |
afrodoc2:You mean Drew Brees or J.J? Or both? I'm not expecting much from Clowney tbh. His injuries have robbed him of his explosiveness. pelvicky:The same Pep's team we saw against Celtic and Tottenham abi another one |
raumdeuter:Only an uncommon phool like apoche cra cra would come here to criticize Boateng when Hummels was arguably the worst defender on the pitch. With every passing match it is starting to look like Dortmund have scammed us big time. I have been holding my tongue because na me dey yab other clubs pass for paying maga money I am starting to wonder if Boateng is responsible for his misfortunes as well |
airmark:Who would watch Bayern's last set of games and not observe that the midfield has not done a good enough job of protecting the back line. Of course you were blind to Hummels being planted on his backside by a washed up Fernando Torres of all people that almost led to an Atleti goal. Less than 10mins after he came on I went and came back thinking you would have gained some intelligence in my absence. However it is lucid that even John Stockton cannot assist a clueless mofo like you. They need to tie you to a massive anchor and throw you into the Pacific Ocean. Your apoche cra cra brain would make excellent fish food |
Donlittle:That boy is a trash player that was hiding on a great Warrior team. I had pointed this out eons ago and people thought it was just beef. Still can't believe Cuban paid him max. That guy's jazzman is the real MVP |
Re: The Draymond and Paul Pierce quanta. I side with Draymond over Paul Pierce the hypocrite. When the originators of the superteam formation. Barkley (joining Olajuwon, Drexler) and Pierce (K.G & Allen) are joining to condemn Durant, I'm sorry I can't take them seriously. If it were say a Malone, Dirk, Stockton, Webber dishing the criticism I for still hear but Pierce's defense is invalid and highly hypocritical. |
Curry with a scoring title and back to back MVP's not better than Allen and Reggie Miller? Haha abeg make una stop am. Curry has surpassed them already if he retired today |
raumdeuter:Not forgetting Schwarzenbeck amongst many Apoche cra cra is the biggest ret@rd in the history of this forum. Only an uninformed yob like him would open his mouth to vomit such megedefegede. Even Emeagwali cannot calculate the throughput with which his rancid apoche cra cra brain keeps streaming petabytes upon petabytes of stewpidity on this forum. That pitifully overrated John Racist compared to defenders who helped their nation to 14 major Finals. Lmao smh |
afrodoc2:Should have rested a bit last season. He played hurt for the most part and it rolled over sort of The biggest issue with JJ I think is his lack of a marquee game in the playoffs, it must be said though that he has had some very terrible QB's to play with (Schaub, Hoyer and Osweiler abi na rottweiler) these guys put an incredible amount of pressure on the defense with their incompetence. I mean just look at what is also going on with Drew Brees and the Saints |
Donlittle:Paul Pierce is a hypocrite. He needs to shut up. He, K.G and Ray Allen were one of the originators this superteam business. Abi na convenient amnesia dey worry am? |
lolawilliams:When has Fox ever come up with anything sensible bar The Simpsons When I see David Robinson ahead of Dirk, Stockton, Pippen, Malone I have to question the mental health condition of the compiler of this sh!t list Btw K.D better than Melo at scoring and on defense. Pretty much everything Lmaoooo Kobe at 12. LeBron at 2. Why didn't they kuku put LeBron at 1. Awon oniranu |
Fresh out the International break I was hoping we could just steal a win, anybody expecting us to thrash SGE was just being unrealistic, its unfortunate but its bleeding obvious that no team is going to back down from us just cos we are Bayern Munich. We could certainly play better but I wonder why both Müller and Lewandowski are so terribly out of form. The entire team is also playing without a definite shape, sloppy and the midfield not protecting the back 4 well enough Its a pity that Vidal and Javi are out for a significant period and it could not have possibly come at a worse time. I think Carlo should strongly consider going back to 4-2-3-1. Xabi could use some benching as he has been our worst midfielder for a while now We really need to move on from these oldies next summer |
Pataki:Evidence is abundant on this thread of me disagreeing with raumdeuter The question Bobriskyy is which day you go challenge your boytoy? You homos practically complete each other's sentences these days Its like the older you get the more frenetic and intense your phoolishness is |
chic2pimp:Ahh. E go hard oh. Plus JJ Watt isn't looking like winning a ring anytime soon. I mean with all the big stats at some point you have to get to the Superbowl. Its a rarity but we've seen teams get there with sub-par Quarterback play like JJ has to do right now (Broncos this year, Ravens in 2000 or was it 2001). So for now not likely |
