GBR1:
My point is valid; that he just got there doesn't change the truth. If you buy a player and he plays badly in this first season, won't he said to be mediocre at that point in time? Bastian was already dross at Bayern sef because he hardly played and even a 34 year old Alonso was preferred to him than and put in better performances.
Alonso and Basti did not even play the same position/role at Bayern so the issue of preference does not even come into play. Calm down. You don't know as much about Bayern as you think

I would respond to the rest of your post later. Its Friday night

GBR1:
what class are you taking about? I have addressed this issue already. Most big clubs are classless clubs in this modern era (Bayern included) you should see my posts.
There was no place in his contract that it was stipulated that he must train with the first team. we haven't violated any term in the contract, and we're only doing what we have to do to force him out. He can take us to court and see what he'll be told.
was that performance in a United shirt? Did he ever put in a performance like that for United? No.
How can you reason like this? Of what use is his performance in German shirt or his past performances in Bayern shirt to United?
This is the issue i have with him. He had an injury that was supposed to rule him out for the Euros but he played in it because of his love for Germany; i can't imagine him doing that for United. He looked slimmer and fitter for Germany than he had ever been at Manchester; he also put in performances far better than anything he had shown at United. Can you imagine that? What does that tell you about Bastian and his commitment to United?

You're basically making my argument for me.

How can we sell him then when he doesn't want to leave? Mourinho told him quite very early to leave but he hasn't done so. This is what we do as a last resort so Bastian only has himself to blame. Valdes has won everything and even more than Bastian and he was a Barcelona legend, didn't he get similar treatment at United under LVG? Was Mourinho also in charge then?
Did you see Barcelona president or folks complaining like Bayern folks did? No. They don't have a silly and stupid president like Kalle who doesn't know when to shut his mouth and their fans aren't hypocrites like you guys. If i wanna rate Barcelona and Bayern folks, i know who i'll place first.

Bayern given similar conditions has done similar acts in the past to their very own players and they are asking we show ask respect to someone who isn't our own. what kind of hypocrisy is this?

A40 you're just going round and round and have said basically nothing. Your love for Bastian is clouding your reasoning and has made you biased in the whole situation. Una no get point at all.

Only a dolt like you will celebrate a 'snippet' when he should be beasting every game. That first half performance was not enough to show he could play top flight football for a sizable period. That hazard scored a beautiful goal against tottenham was not enough for a sensible chelsea fan to say hazard was great last season. Only idiots like you and dayo will be pointing at an impressive 1/8th of matches played as ''beasting''. What is always wrong with you guys?
Beasting every game? Even Messi and Ronaldo don't beast every game you dyslexic bush pig. That first half in a European cup semifinal where he was arguably the best player on the pitch was a reminder of Schweini's ability to raise his game to a level no midfielder on Manyoo's roster is capable of doing. Only a m0ron like you cannot tell between a player that lacks ability and another who does but has struggled with injuries.

Your Hazard illustration is Dead on Arrival, A bad season is different from claiming a player is incapable of playing at a high level? Is Hazard incapable of that? Ozuo

Well, he would and should be treated as thrash until he finds a new club and that's nobody business since he's our player either.
This is the hypocrisy associated with Bayern folks i always have problems with. What respect or class do you guys want from us?
Is Bayern not a classless club too? Basically all big clubs are classless; it's the modern way.
Treat him as you wish. We would be here for the laffs when the move backfires spectacularly for JM. Either way till he finds a new club or you find one for him he is a load on your neck

What hypocrisy megedefegede are you on about? Were you in Mars when I was here lambasting Kalle for Goetze's treatment?

GBR1:
Bayern had been doing similar acts since god knows when and nobody complained. Didn't you guys basically force your treble winning coach Juup out into retirement against his wish?
Stop commenting on issues you are clearly ignorant about. Jupp did not give Bayern a firm word on his desire to extend. He was 68 and had been mulling retirement for a while. Pep was available, Jupp was undecided what should Bayern have done? How does that imply Jupp being forced to retirement? What kind of megedefegede are you chatting

GBR1:
Was Luca Toni not banished to the reserves to force him out?
You guys have forced out a lot of players against their wishes especially old strikers through whatever means no matter how classless and nobody complained.
You conveniently left out how LVG and Toni nearly came to blows prior to that. You ought to know better than to come here and drop these half truths. Toni's case and Basti's are polar opposites

GBR1:
Juventus a very stingy club paid 90 million for higuain who is 29 by decemeber in this current market because we are taking Pogba from them. Were Juventus MAGAd too? They have an history of making smarter bigs deals than any big club ever. They were the same folks who sold Zidane for a record fee to buy 3

quality players in Thuram, Nedved and Buffon IIRC.
United aren't complaining about the Pogba deal, so get over it. We have more money to spend than any other club currently so it's only normal we overpay most times.
You guys are the only magas in this deal. Juve addressed their biggest need with the windfall with what was essentially house money that is if we even ignore the epic scoring season he had. Anyway its typical banter. I don't know why you are being so sensitive. A player that you sold for 800k you are buying back for £100m. Sorry but you guys are going to be the butt of jokes for a bit

GBR1:
Stop blaming Mourinho; go and check out Jose's quotes about him in the past. Mourinho rated him very highly and had nothing but praise to speak of him in the past and currently if Mourinho wants him out of the team for good, then it's for good reason. It's the same Mourinho you guys said loved using old players; have you forgotten?
There are 32 year olds who are still very good players contributing a lot to their teams unlike Bastian who can't stay fit to save his own life; those 32 year olds aren't on very big wages like Bastian either. Bastian scenario is entirely different. He's one of my favorite player but my love for United is far greater; i want him out of the club ASAP and it's for good reason.
Who do we blame apart from Mourinho? Again stop missing the point. It is not about wanting Basti out, it is the way and manner he is going about it that any objective and reasonable person would take an issue with. Whatever reason Mou has is his prerogative. His erratic transfer history and his handling of even older players (check Samuel Eto'o) has been borderline bizarre and speaks for itself. Stop whining about wages you agreed to pay. Everyone knew Basti's injury record before coming to Man U

GBR1:
Yes our midfield is currently poor but Bastian is a very big part of that dross. He collects more than half in wages of all our other midfield options put together and that's why getting rid of him is getting rid of that dross.
He can live on past glories at Bayern because he's your legend but United owe him nothing. We can't pay him him such big wages while he contributes next to nothing.

I followed Bastian career over the years because i was a big fan of his. I remember when he was converted from being a winger to a midfielder and i remember clearly his best years. He was a top midfielder; one of the very best of his generation and he would even have a good chance getting into the Germany's best midfield of all times. But all these things matter very little to me currently. He was a good passer but wasn't exactly known for that; his best performances always involved his high energy levels as B2B and his technical abilities. So people expecting him to transform into this Pirlo or even Carrick level on dictating games are demanding too much from him. He's finished as a midfielder in the top level and it's the truth; he could contribute a little more in a very heavily based possession system but the whole thing is gonna be average at best. Jose's style is far different and even for that Carrick would perform better than Bastian is usually more available; it's no surprise Jose chose to kept him and extended his contract while telling Bastian to leave. Mourinho obviosly would try bringing in better players and there's no space for Bastian on the wage bill.

If Bayern want him, they should come back for him because most clubs are refusing to take him but i won't accept any United criticism from Bayern folks because Jose is making the right decision for the club however unpleasing it might be to them.
How can he be part of the dross? He just got there FFS. We are not saying don't get rid of him we are saying show some class while you are at it.

Again refer to my post about not being forced to agree to a 3 year deal

I am well aware of Basti's career trajectory. Can he play at an elite level and is he done as a midfielder at the top level. Go and watch the first half of Germany v France and come back and tell me when Carrick has matched that in the last 6 years at club level never mind internationally where he was clearly a non entity. Obviously he cannot produce that every week but expecting that from a 32 year old is laughable in the first place.

We are not saying don't sell him just put some RESPEK on his name. Bayern are not coming back for Basti. We don't need to do that to show our empathy for one of our own
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by A40(m):
GBR1:
It was Bastian who wanted to leave but Bayern weren't exactly sad about it because he was pretty much useless to you guys then however a legend he was. Bayern midfield actually became stronger after he left. Why don't you guys take him back currently? undecided

Una don see MAGA abi? cheesy didn't Ancelloti rule out his return recently?
He wanted to leave because we were not going to pay him €10m for another 3 seasons. If we did he would have stayed. That is why we are not taking him back currently. Eleru gberu e

GBR1:
What was the results of those visits? Basically nothing. Did they result in Bastian being less injured or did he become fitter? No

They were useless, and that's why we're complaining. Some United players weren't even happy about that. If you've a personal doctor who is so important to you, it's best you bring him to the City or Country you're in; see Zlatan's case for example.
When did he make those trips? Was it when he was effectively ruled out for the season or not?

Was he making these trips during the season? Did he break any rules and if he did why wasn't he sanctioned. I don't quite get your Zlatan example. They are levels to this braah especially when this Dr has worked with elite athletes like Usain Bolt and at 73 looks
45

If you need to see a James Andrews M.D you go to him, James Andrews does not come to you

GBR1:
Bastian commitment to his new club was really in doubt and he did little to prove the contrary. I can remember him going for such trips when he was with Bayern.
What trips? You mean Schweinsteiger abandoned training and was taking trips while fit or what are you on about. Basti was as committed to a new club as any player can be. I follow him on social media and his pictures began to nauseate me at a point so this point you raised I am not buying rara

GBR1:
LVG was the one who allowed him such freedom but LVG ended up criticizing him after he realized how useless he was for United. That was the man who brought him in, and Bastian's failure at United was one of the numerous reasons for LVG failure.
Obviously, you don't follow United games. Carrick put in better performances than Bastian last season and currently he's still our best midfielder by far so stop saying what you don't know much about.
Regards career and all time, Carrick is better than either Herrera or Fellani but Bastian is the best and is even a tier above any of them. Nobody doubts that but he's done so little at United and that's what matters. He's not a even United legend so there are no excuses for mediocrity because he never put in excellent performances for us in the past. Bastian at his best was easily better than Carrick or any of them but he's not at his best at United
Two managers have come and gone since LVG left Bayern. You are the first person complaining about these 'trips' Guardiola slapped a player he bought on live TV, Mourinho compared the players he bought to Waitrose eggs so what is your point? Carrick was bleh, his stats are average to mediocre and his performances even more so. As yawn inducing as most of your matches were I know enough to say that Carrick was not your best midfielder.

I agree Basti was not exceptional but it begs the question what was your expectation when you bought him? Did you expect a 30something year old to just up and hit the ground running in his first season? Are there any games you can point to and say on the back of his performance there he has no business at United?

GBR1:
Last season, he was average at best all through, and i'm being nice with this description.
Bastian is on very big wages; wages far higher than Fellani's and Herrera's put together so don't even get me started on that. Jose style is far different to LVG's and he has decided Bastian has no future in his plans unlike Herrera and Fellani who can be useful to him; what you've done in the past doesn't matter. But Bastian has decided to sit down doing nothing and collecting big wages as he likes but Jose is having none of that; That why we have this current fracas.
What do you mean by sitting and doing nothing? He showed up on his first day of training and you send him to the reserves? Very soon the noisemaker would be crying about betrayal

Newsflash. Your team has been average long before Schweinsteiger came along. That you put him on huge wages is not a valid excuse for the rubbish treatment Jose is dishing. Its not like you were forced to pay those wages. Even Jose when he nearly ran Chelsea to the ground did not suffer such indignity. If its by past glory than Jose Mourinho is also living on past glory. Xzibit put it aptly "in these streets you are only as good as your last transaction"

This is what you should be emphasizing and not the decision to deem him surplus to requirements..

If Mourihno's intention is to revamp our midfield (or squad as a whole), you cannot fault the decision to offload Bastian, considering his well-documented horrible injury record at the club (and even at Bayern before he joined us).

The midfielders you listed may not have performed to the standards expected but it wouldnt be outta place if a manager decides to give them a chance to improve......at the expense of a 32year old who has spent more time at specialist hospitals in the last 3 years Thereabout.

I personally do not like Mourinho's confrontational style - the way he handled Mata & Lukaku while at Chelsea seemed as if a personal vendetta he had against them clouded his sense of objectivity (if we are to take into account the fact that these were in-form players prior to his arrival). However, i can only fault the apparent disrespect he is showing Bastian & not the decision to ship him out of the club (if the rumours are true )
I agree with the bulk of your posts. Mou is well within his rights to say he doesn't want Schweinsteiger.

Though the decision to do that with the options you have on ground are quite amusing. Carrick, Schneiderlin, Failaini and Herrera are not suddenly going to morph into Xavi, Busquets and Iniesta no matter how many chances they get. You also don't expect Schweini with two years left on his contract to go fishing for a paycut. Mourinho didn't do that even while he was almost leading Chelsea to relegation

Mourinho has overtime showed his inability to handle crisis situations. You have acknowledged this yourself. This is a dangerous precedent he is setting. And when it all falls down we would be here to remind him of the seeds he sowed. Just like Lukaku and De Bruyne Mourinho has opted not to give Basti a shot at competing for a shirt. We will see how this ends

i don't want him offloaded yet,he owes us one of those trade mark outside shot he used to score for fun few years back.
At a certain age players become squad players, no crime in that. Schweini's combative style meant he was never going to age well. I like your choice of words here 'Ambition' now look at your midfield and compare with the rest of Europe and tell me if holding on to average players like Failaini, Herrera, Schneiderlin do anything to boost that ambition. Schweinsteiger is the complete midfielder when fit. A battle tested veteran who has a much higher ceiling and has delivered at a higher level than everyone in that your midfield. Including Carrick

Mourinho's abrasive and childish approach to every issue has always been his downfall. You don't tell a senior player at 32 to go and find a new club when the market out there isn't overwhelming. If you can't integrate him in your squad then you shop for options instead of building resentment. These players are not phools. Its Basti's turn today tomorrow it could be theirs

When fit? Good thing you said that else this would've descended to a different discussion.

Did Pep not say Bastian hasn't been fit for about 2 years or even more?

Was Bastian fit at United? No; he spent more time injured and played less than one third of the total games we had in a season. Instead on working on his fitness issues, he was flying almost every time to Munich and spent more time there than even Manchester( a lot of United players were not even happy about it) and when he wasn't in Germany, he was touring the world with his girlfriend playing tennis and enjoying her pussу.
Carrick at 34 is even fitter than him and Mourinho has chosen him over Bastian and rightfully so. Last season Carrick still had better performances for United than Bastian. Maybe if Bastian was fit, maybe maybe.... Nobody gives a sh1t about that.

He has done or proven nothing at United; he's current a liability and pretty useless to us. He can fucк off and rightfully so.
Of course I am not unaware of his fitness issues. You think you bullied Bayern into selling one of its legends? Are you one of those that bought the Man U was my dream club megedefegede?

You talked about him spending more time in Munich. Did it occur to you that this was where his Dr lived? You mean you have not seen injured athletes return to their homeland to recuperate? What do you mean by "working on his fitness" and what proof do you have that Schweinsteiger was not working on his fitness?

What is wrong in traveling with your wife-to-be every now and then while injured? Should he become a Eunuch because he is the first player to get injured while playing for Manyoo?

This was his first season in a new league. Yet neither Carrick, Herrera, M0ron Fellaini bested him. A certified midfield general like Schweini should have gotten the benefit of a doubt. Which kirchoff issue? The Bundesliga reject who won epl player of the month under 4 months in the epl?

Kirchoff was in Bundesliga for several years getting tossed from one loan to another. He was actually playing with bayern youth team until he discovered the useless league called epl where he can win player of the month

Fuchs Okazaki also won a league for the first time in their career in the useless epl
Any league that a CB partnership of Wes Morgan and Robert Huth can win is a useless league that needs to be scrapped. That is why their products can go to a major tournament and lose to a country with fewer people than you would find at Holy Ghost Congress

You are a doofus. You are fast overtaking A40 in irrational idiocy. Pep does not need to win any league? What kind of imbecilic statement is this nitori olorun? So he came to the EPL to market guguru and epa abi? Arindin oshi.

It seems you are in your period of extreme cyber-foolishness again.
Wetin dey worry this bipolar Kellorah? What is it about A-40 that you can't seem to keep out of your cankersores filled mouth.

Plot Twist. Wolfsburg have told Draxler to go phuck themselves they are not selling till 2017 at least and have set his buyout at €75m

Lol there goes my interest in him joining Bayern
SIRcumalot:
It may just be caused by that emission scandal wey jam Volkswagen.
early this year
Its possible. Wolfsburg though have a real geographical disadvantage. They are a really small city with less than 150,000 people so their scope for growth is limited compared to teams in bigger Cities e.g Dortmund
To be fair they have been punching above their weight since they became one of Germany's elite

Looks like Wolfsburg is crumbling after selling DeBruyne, they finished 8th, Naldo left, Schurrle left, Max Kruse left, Dante looking to leave, Draxler is looking to leave. Rumours have been trailing Luis Gustavo and Ricardo Rodriguez too

AT least no one would blame Bayern for destroying Wolfsburg who ended 2nd in the bundesliga 2 seasons ago
I wonder what is the issue with Wolfsburg? It is baffling that they are not even trying to improve their squad. Even Schalke that are up to their neck in debt have made significant improvements

Is Klaus Allofs tearing them down like he did at Bremen

I wouldn't mind us going for Draxler. Can't afford to go and let him waste in England

Burnthisleaguedown is gradually turning to dumping ground for bad, declining players. The german fa needs to do something fast to tired legs finding shelter in that league. djilobodji, kagawa, baba rahman, harnandez are making a ridicule of that bayernliga with 5 star performances here and there. Thunder will fire chelsea if they sign players like baba rahman from that fake league again. One of the best lb in that league came to chelsea and started playing like nassarrawa utd player.
Your brain is like a LAWMA truck overloaded with trash! Christian Fuchs and Shinji Okazaki came to your useless league to win a title in their debut season yet this stewpid, shameless apoche cra cra and Ru Paul are busy yarning megedegede. Fuchs wey dey chop bench for Schalke, opelope Premiership laiye e he too can now boast of winning a league title

Some of y'all were warned not to buy or expect anything from Rahman on the back of one good season. Una don san wo maga finish. Iyen o kan aye

We have told you national team performance is not always the reflection of the league. Must you always reason like a fool ? Epl is filled with majorly foreign players , especially the top 5.This as expected would have bad effect on the national team. Because Nigeria beat spain in 1998 , would you say our league was better than spanish league that time? Because France did well , would never make any sensible person rate ligue 1 above epl. You cant measure a country league with national team performances. It makes you sound like a goat.
Walahi you have the IQ of an Ekpan Fly. You are so dimwitted and clueless. Please get castrated, neutered. No child deserves to inherit this kind of stewpidity

How many Super Eagles players were playing in Nigeria in that game against Spain? Which kind electronic eediot be this tori Olorun.

Even sensible comparison you cannot make

I remember when some Manure fans were trolling a year ago that they chanced Bayern to Schweini, Now they are stuck with a permanently crocked ninja on 10M a yr. Let Schweini run out his contract collect the maga money finish, Go MLS collect small and return to Bayern board
I reminded some of them about Owen Hargreaves but they thought I was just being salty. I wished he at least joined a club that would give him a shot to compete consistently in the CL.

Make he kuku use this year enjoy honeymoon with Ana. I would advise he does not move an inch from Old Trafford unless he gets a better offer than his present one

City signs Sane, where are all the "Weakening the Bundesliga" activists? Does Bundesliga get stronger now that Sane and Mikitaryan leaves?
So Bayern strenghten, the foreign clubs buys top players from Bayerns domestic rivals. So who got weaker and who got stronger?

Anyway I hope Schalke spends the money wisely and get themselves out of debt
Lol leave those ones let them be doing eye service. To them Bayern buying Goetze for €37m is worse for the Bundesliga but its ok for Madrid to buy Oezil from Schalke for €15m

Would be interesting to see what Weinzerl does with Schalke. They picked up Embolo in attack where they already have Huntelaar and Di Santo, Coke from Sevilla just joined and they got Naldo for next to nothing. And I forgot Baba Rahman his boy from Augsburg. I just hope EPL does not infect Sane with their mediocre style of play, nothing good can come out of packing your National Team with EPL players, thankfully he would be playing under Pep

do you know Nigeria refused to insure them for the afrobasket and the players decided to come like dat regardless.. So if they had incurred any injuries NA their wahala be that.

Now they tried the same thing going to the Olympics angry undecided
Its pathetic. You have people that are trying to be patriotic and give service to this country but they make it so hard mehn. Its a given that if I had a kid that is an athlete under no circumstances would I let them represent Nigeria. It is not worth it
