debosky: See this nigga - is your middle name 2face? Two seconds ago you were praising Walcott for creating the 'only' goal against Southampton. Who created the only goal against Swansea to WIN the game? Did Giroud miss a free header unchallenged where even a slight brush would've taken the ball into the net?
Broda odensi does not even understand the context in which I used that example. Are you seriously comparing who has missed more glaring chances? Lmaoo

debosky: The game winning goals are there from Giroud - not cherry on the cake goals when the game is won!
Game-winning goals from Giroud? Can you shame the devil and name just 2 games in which Giroud scored the winning goal. I dey wait

Better pray Walcott scores more cherry on the cake goals those goals may be the difference between UCL and Europa League footie

debosky: There was NO CONTACT with his hands - like I said, go get your black and white tv changed out or fix your hypermetropia. The bigger question is why Walcott couldn't aim for the goal seeing Graham on the line?

This is what the Guardian live blog said: Goalline clearance! And another! First Wilshere's shot is saved, and Danny Graham gets in the way of Walcott's attempted rebound tap-in. Arsenal think it was a handball, but it clearly hit him in the top corner of his chest, and was in fact a horrible miss

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/jan/16/fa-cup-arsenal-simon-burnton
Off the chest and rolled onto his arms. Why not post the video instead of showing me an idiotic article

debosky: Podolski scores crucial game changing goals, not cherry on the cake goals - see what he did against Swansea or against Montpellier at the Emirates - game winning goals!
Who scored your go-ahead goals against West Ham and Newcastle (twice) Schalke nko?

debosky: Counting 14 goals that included a rubbish game against Reading - na those goals Walcott sabi score pass. Awoof against one of the worst teams in the EPL - heck that game was so bad that even Chamakh sef scored two goals. grin We can boldly say that Chamakh's goals per game shytes on that of Walcott - sign him up! grin
What a nonsense analogy! It was a nonsense game and yet you went 4 goals down! The kid scores the 1st goal and inspires a famous fightback and you are here chatting nonsense! If Arsenal was not an eternally useless club How is it that with your full squad (Podudski,Cazorla) et al sans Walcott you went to Bradford city and got knocked out in the next round.

chamotex: If she did that and was ignored...more reason why she shouldn't have gone there then cos obviously she should have known it was obvious things weren't cool. She should have talked to the brother about it and take it from there.
As yoruba people will say "ma koja aye ara e"

Whether the wife is mischievous or not is irrelevant. We can argue they are both mischievous with the roles they played.
Its not everyone you insult and expect to have a coke and a smile and just shut up never mind an older person! A polite and sincere apology would have sent the woman back home
The man instead of playing peacemaker (a simple "honey come and apologize to my sister woulda sufficed" ) went into beast mode and brought out horsewhip to beat his sister! Well I don't blame the bully sha he probably knew he could get away with it that's why he carried out such savage act in the first place
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Pep Guardiola Confirmed As Bayern Munich Manager by A40(m): 10:01pm On Jan 17, 2013
nitlad: I think the phrase home grown is too loosely and lazily thrown around in footballing parlance these days.

Of all the players you listed here, none of them fits the adjective 'home grown' in the true sense of it (I stand to be corrected!)
I think rose through the ranks describes this lot better, nohuh

Football today is about the big clubs with the big bucks. Everybody operates the same cycle!
You spot a gem or potential gem, you snap them up. Simples.
Clubs like Bayern do theirs early, while clubs like Chelsea do theirs late.

Except you show me a club with 6 players in their starting 11 as you postulated that were taken in when they were as young as 4,5,6,7,8 and whatever years old, or their footballing career began with, including youth career is with the said club.
Only such have legitimate claims to having 'home grown talent'.
Age of Bayern's homegrown talents on arrival.

Lahm 12 years old
Badstuber 13 years old
Alaba 16 years old
Schweinsteiger 14 years old
Thomas Muller 11 years old
Toni Kroos 16 years old

Average age of just under 14 years if that's not homegrown I don't know what is

Asking a club to sign a player at 4,5,6 borders on madness really. At that age do they even know what sport they want to go pro in?
Family › Re: He Beat-up His Elder Sister For His Wife by A40(m): 9:32pm On Jan 17, 2013
chamotex: It doesn't matter what transpired initially. There are certain ways to handle situations.
If she wanted to confront her about the issue she should not have gone to the brother's house.
A phone call would have been ideal afterall she only needed to TALK to her to confirm the 'he said/she said' remarks.
Going to confront her in her house can be seen as a threatening behaviour.
She could have handled it differently.
But we don't know for sure if the elder sister actually did that and was ignored. We can't rule out the possibility that the wife also provoked the sister's angry reaction by being more disrespectful on her arrival at their house
The mere fact that the wife didn't intervene in the melee when he started beating the sister tells me already that she must be a mischevious woman

naijababe: That is not a very politically correct statement.

@Thread, despite the sketchiness of the story, I hope the wife is not sleeping with both eyes closed sha. If she could allow her hubby to beat his sister blue-black, then she berra maintain her peace when he beats her over a concubine.
Haha ok there was a tad bit of exaggeration there but the mutual respect has to be there tho. Mom has to see her as her daughter and daughter has to see her as her mom. I think the pedestal you put your mother or sister kinda sets the tone for how your wife would treat them. So if the man doesn't hold them in any esteem neither would the wife. Which is why I would blame the man,the wife and the elder sister based on the story the OP posted

4llerbuntu: Are you telling me your eyes failed to show you the difference in quality of play between giroud and walcott in the top striker position?
what quality? i saw Giroud squander chances as well! So what are you talking about? Neither player scored

4llerbuntu: Giroud is a much better CENTER FOWARD compared with Walcott. End of.
The goals are not there to back your assertions up

4llerbuntu: If you like Walcott and his goals so much perhaps your club can have him? I'm sure he can replace Muller
Loool don't flatter yourself

debosky: Dude get your eyes checked or stop watching games on black and white TV - the ball hit Graham's chest. Walcott saw a man on the line yet shot straight at him. . . .that's part of what we are saying. He can do much better!!
So you are saying the ball had no contact with the Swansea defender's hands hehe I laugh in 2chainz
You guys can keep talking your $hit shebi na you talk say Podudski go outshine Walcott this season! 14 goals and 9 assists in all competitions we are still watching

I got a question for the original poster tho. Is she his full sister? As in same mama same papa because there must be some deep seated hatred somewhere the kind that a polygamous background can cause

And for those saying she is interfering in the brother's family read the story well the original poster said the wife actually made disparaging remarks about her

With that being said the man is a disgrace! However what I don't get are the women supporting the guy! Are you ladies suggesting its ok for dudes to beat women up or that we can do it under certain circumstances so long as we are trying to protect the wife. Cos the day is coming that he would beat you for that secretary at work, that sexy housegirl you got to watch the kids. Its a chain reaction

CFCfan: Absolutely spot on.
For crying out loud, the 4 major domestic leagues in Europe are the EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga and Seria A. Any coach that wins in any of those leagues is very good, in my opinion.
Wenger won the double in his 2nd season
Mourinho won the EPL 1st and 2nd season
Ancellotti won the double in his 1st season
Mancini won the FA Cup in his first full season won the league in his 2nd full season

It would take an absolute nimrod to assume the EPL is the most difficult or challenging to win

Oahray: (1) He is going to a league having as a main rival Dortmund which beat champions of Spain and England to top their group and you are talking about fear of challenge. I hope say you well sha. EPL is just a league with mediocre teams, their being competitive has nothing to do with quality, its cos their best teams are not exactly exceptional. The UCL of recent confirms this.

(2) About your question, ask yourself, how many EPL teams can beat Barca or Madrid?

(3) How can Guardiola go to Arsenal when Wenger isnt leaving? Abi dem go share the coaching job? Think twice before you comment.
Walahi you get time oh? Schoolin these special needs kids. Maybe he should go to QPR and prove himself! The same Barca that where on the downward slide when Pep took over is what they are calling a ready made team

debosky: Sure! Hat trick against Reading will be the difference eh? cheesy

If we need GD to qualify for the UCL, it means it's goals that should've been scored in games like against Southampton where Theo played are the true cause.

No beef for Theo from me but I won't overlook such abysmal performance up front for any player.
Is this ninja serious? Who provide the only goal wey una score for that game?? Despite your manager's stubborness to play him in his preferred position he has still scored and provided more goals than his contemporaries. Last EPL was won by GD and you are here chatting megedefegede
You don't have beef but you failed to point out the blatant handball from Walcott's shot that was all but in the net but was missed by ridiculously blind officials

debosky: Who knows whether she was strapped? I ask you the same question - why would a man just start beating a woman if she didn't do something to cause it?
She was strapped and he disarmed her with koboko? Is he Van Damme? From all accounts she was definitely not armed.
Otumokpo of course abi didn't you read my previous post?? This is not just any woman on the street this is his sister we are talking about here! He's an uncle to her kids

debosky: No one says two wrongs make a right, but we must get to the root of the issue - don't feel you can go acting gangsta in another woman's home because you bear the title of 'elder sister'. That the woman called her bro to show up would've given any woman with a church mind to pack her wahala and go back to her home.

She is simply an example - maybe after hearing this story other interfering and aproko-ing family members will think twice and keep their snouts out.
Gangsta? The story said she was acting on account of the negative stuff the wife said about her not interference with their matrimonial home per se. That alone gives the woman a right to come and demand an explanation. To show how vile this wife is she sat there and watched the husband beat his own sister to a pulp!
Think twice! Dude is only lucky the woman did not involve the police! That guy would not part with less than 100k to regain his freedom! Let's see how tough he would be after 3 nights in Panti

debosky: You sef for ask say wetin cause koboko tinz? Do people just wake up and start beating people with Koboko or something actually provoked this? Secondly I don't believe this story as such - it's painted to make the wife look like the devil and the husband as a senseless man 'defending' his wife.
Was she strapped? Armed with a knife or something? Protecting from who? A fellow woman! Dude must be so gangsta! He must be Rocky infact let's play 'Eye of a Tiger' as his entrance music. Why would he beat a grown woman with a horsewhip!! na him pikin?? If the wife was married to Alistair Overeem,David Haye or the Klitschko brothers would he try such stunts? Dude is just a bully let's keep it a 100!

debosky: The truth is, no sane woman should stay at the gate of someone else's house trying to harass a woman in her home. And being an older woman for that matter, she shows that a phool at old age can get that phoolishness punished by flogging. grin
Two wrongs don't make a right and me I don't believe this is natural! There has to be an element of jazz involved for a man to turn and start flogging his own blood! Maybe she didn't play any role in his life sha but I don't believe this is a matter some diplomacy would not have solved

wlex8: I really appreciate all your comments for / against what he did to his sister.

I can not provide too much information, I'm not even sure if any of them are reading this, but for clarification purpose, I'm aware of the following

1. There are unresolved issues between the wife and the husband's family

2. The husband is not 100% satisfied with his wife's attitude to his family, just trying to live with it, managing it

3. The husband's family loved her so much initially, they changed due to some of her attitudes to them and even to the husband

5. The sister is far older than the brother

6. When the guy was seriously sick, they claimed the wife did not take good care of him, rather it was the mother & sister that helped him out

7. On that very day, the wife said very nasty thing, a kind of allegation that could cause the sister her own marriage

8. Since the wife knew the gravity / how terrible what she said, she refused to open the door for the sister she instead called the husband that his sister is about to kill her

9. Not that she carried gun / cutlass or tugs to beat her up / they did not have any physical contact to warrant her beating / killing the wife

10. The husband could have left her outside and go somewhere else to relax / call police / call the husband etc

Applying force for her to leave without addressing why she came led to the struggle, the brother later used "koboko" to whip her, reason why blood came out

11. The wife felt very happy that her husband dealt with his sister

I hate how the sister did not respect herself and leave the house but I also hate how the man beat her up mercilessly

The wife and the husband are now living in fear of unknown

PLEASE CAN YOU GUYS SUGGEST THE SOLUTION, HOW CAN THIS NOW BE RESOLVED. THANKS
Koboko to beat his own sister?? This one don enter 'Labe Orun' territory! Obviously the wife don give this maga otumokpo chop
