Car TalkRe: Price Of New Model Cars On Nairaland? by aaidel(m): 9:08am On Oct 15, 2012
I agree with you but then I think that's the point fhemmy and co are making even if the cars aren't substandard they still contain less safety features than the american models and sometimes due to legislations in the states you might find an american assembled LX having more safety features than say a jap or european one.
What we should be looking at is reducing the cost of duty and then making appropriate laws about the minimum safety standards needed in vehicles brought into nigeria

The way I see things even abroad the higher spec cars which naturally are more expensive have better and more safety features now if in nigeria the duty on new cars is high then even the accredited dealers will bring in the more affordable lower spec vehicles than the higher spec ones which would lead to casesof. Brand new one having fewer safety features than a 2nd hand american used
IslamRe: Lady Gaga Is Offending Muslims by aaidel(m): 7:26pm On Oct 06, 2012
I see people especially muslims making the mistake of thinking hijab = burqa islamically wearing loose clothes that cover all adornments (hijab) is a must for every believing woman once she attains puberty wearing burqa (covering of the face) is not what is permissible for a woman to show are her face and her hands so don't see why people keep making a fuss over something that is not essential to the muslim faith

Car TalkRe: Price Of New Model Cars On Nairaland? by aaidel(m): 11:17pm On Oct 02, 2012
Hmmmm but sometimes you get cars from private dealers that are cheaper than the toyot accredited dealers and besides it seems a if u want to discourage people buying second hand accident cars then duty should be cheaper on new cars to make them more affordable
Car TalkRe: Price Of New Model Cars On Nairaland? by aaidel(m): 3:22pm On Oct 01, 2012
Ok but why will the clearing be that expensive isn't it supposed to be a percentage of the cost of the car if so why is it almost 50%?
RomanceRe: How Is My (future) Wife Doing Right Now? by aaidel(m): 1:21pm On Oct 01, 2012
Orikinla: 1. Your future wife is either receiving tender loving care right now in the arms of another man or being tossed around by her different lovers who are taking turns on her.

2. Or could be a victim of bad guys who spiked her drink at the party and raped her in turns.

3. She is broke and under peer pressure to join the runs for survival and the fun in the fast lane. Because she has only one life to live, to enjoy it while she is still young or be miserable later; held back by the reins of marriage.

4. She has graduated, but not sure of getting her dream job after her NYSC.

5. She is not sure of her financial security and happiness in your care to buy the latest fashionable collectibles in vogue.

6. She is afraid of Boko Haram marauders, kidnappers, armed robbers, and other lunatics on rampage in Nigeria.

7. She is looking for the opportunity to relocate to the US or UK.
This is the most correct answer

SportsRe: Siasia's Records-the Facts by aaidel(m): 12:59am On Oct 14, 2011
@op siasia lost to guinea in the qualifiers
secondly he was hired to do a job do you think if capello failed to qualify for euro he would still have a job? coaches are hired to do a job siasia has failed the worst part for me is not the lack of qualification but that our system of play if we even have one didnt improve its not like we were playing open flowing football even the friendly against ghana we were poor. So it might not be necessary to sack him but he needs a wake up call

PoliticsRe: Kano State Owes N110 Billion by aaidel(m): 11:45pm On May 31, 2011
a few facts
1. it was the incoming governor during his first term that created the ministry of shariah or whatever it is called shekarau only enforced it
2. shekarau is a weak man that isnt able to call to order his commisioners when they err
3. part of the campaign promises made by kwankwaso was that he will disgrace shekarau
4. kwankwaso was the worst governor kano had but shkarau is pretty close behind him
besides we all know the political dance that happens everytime power changes hands from one party to another in nigeria it is always allegations and counter allegations and finger pointing God help us all
BusinessRe: London Retailer Shop Adopts Hausa Language To Woo Customers by aaidel(m): 3:06pm On May 30, 2011
Well as far as I'm concerned just because a state has a large population of farmers or artisans which it doesn't support in any way then that state cannot take credit for their hardwork the states in mention how many hectars of land is the state directly involved in farming? Keeping in mind that the major job of the states is not to produce but to provide an enabling environment for those that are interested in production to set up something therefore if those states have a lot of suucessful farmers through the generations then the state shouldn't be taking credit for what is only a natural way of life of its people
BusinessRe: London Retailer Shop Adopts Hausa Language To Woo Customers by aaidel(m): 1:59pm On May 30, 2011
Well on that basis almost no state produces anything worthy of mention as for conspiracy I don't know about that but I'm sure you will blame the hausas for not developing rail transport
BusinessRe: London Retailer Shop Adopts Hausa Language To Woo Customers by aaidel(m): 12:36pm On May 30, 2011
Well if state govts can take credit for what there citizenery produce then in addition to food they also produce hides which is tanned and exported in addition to gold silica and other precious stones
BusinessRe: London Retailer Shop Adopts Hausa Language To Woo Customers by aaidel(m): 11:48am On May 30, 2011
I am not going off tangent the producer and transporter are both northerners even the precious oil is dependent onhausa transporters.and its exactly this kind of superiority syndrome that is affecting the progress of yoruba's you can't assume every other person is useless just because in your mind you imagine you are the best at everything
BusinessRe: London Retailer Shop Adopts Hausa Language To Woo Customers by aaidel(m): 10:58am On May 30, 2011
I'm sorry but your middle belt conjecture is wrong yhe north produces most food apart froom rrots and tubers irrespective of how you demarcate it geographically that's apart from animal husbandry and sadly yes it is subsistence farming which isn't supported much by any form of government. Cast your mind back to a few months back when hausas decided cost of transporting food was too high and went on strike and what happened to food prices in the south frankly speaking no region of nigeria is self sufficient enough to stand on its own our leaders realise this that's why they haven't hearkened to calls to separate the country oh and by the way the north is not made up of only hausa speaking tribes
BusinessRe: London Retailer Shop Adopts Hausa Language To Woo Customers by aaidel(m): 9:54am On May 30, 2011
@ logica they produce majority of the food you and your family eat. See like I said yoruba people always feeling superior what nigeria needs isn't taking of sides but first of all admitting that we all are responsible for the way nigeria is then solutions can be proffered but as long as. We keep pointing fingers we can never face any problems squarely enough to face them
BusinessRe: London Retailer Shop Adopts Hausa Language To Woo Customers by aaidel(m): 3:09am On May 30, 2011
nigerians and their pettiness instead of facing more serious issues we are here debating who spends more at debenhams while the ruthless elite are busy cleaning out our treasuries we are here debating useless issues i wonder sometimes if those in the south are not suffering like those in the north or the problems of nigeria apply to only one tribe or group proud yoruba people will always view others as inferior to them while the minority literate hausa's are busy along with their friends from other tribes sucking us dry
