so just saw the apple website and an unlocked iphone 5c will cost 549 dollars 89761.5 naira and the 32gb version for 649 dollars or 106111.5 now bearing in mind a new iphone 5 64gb could be bought for 715 dollars. apple claimed the iphone 5c would be cheap. its not its just an iphone in a plastic body i must say i am very disappointed in apple they should stop wasting peoples time unless of course this is a ploy to bump up the price of iphone 5s |
is the honda legend still made in LHD most of the ones i saw when i searched where RHD |
with the way some guys drive on dubai roads they surely need super cars to catch up with them |
the issue of child support is not necessarily gender biased but in most cases only women seem to imagine raising a child alone is the way to go. saddle a man with a child either through custody or bereavement and he will most likely get a partner to help him out it goes without saying that the western judicial systems are more beneficial to women, but i think women need to wake up and take responsibility for their bad choices if a woman has 6 kids with 5 fathers she is still given child support and i believe this encourages them to think single parenthood is the way to go a person consistently making bad choices is not to be encouraged thats just my take |
car-doctor:alright noted thanks |
debrief08: Sane women just want to be treated like human beings.and you sir have said it all |
i have also been told of the wears engine out myth but most of the cars i have had that came with auto ac/climate control i never bothered putting it off and havent really noticed any adverse effect and besides you would notice that the when you start the car the ac compressor doesnt kick in automatically it takes about 30 seconds thats what i noticed on my cars anyway |
bukatyne: Give examples of real life scenarios you refer to.i already did didn't you read the opening post? but you still have women who in one breath shout equality and in the next want special treatment because they are women. |
[quote author=remark D]are you for sure? an endowment from the father of a not-very-smart fellow can get in? from what I've seen, endowments of cash means they'll name something (a faculty, building, theatre, etc) after you or the person given the cash... which is more prestige for the endower as his image or name will be out there.... as opposed to a son or daughter that he knows will flunk out or cant meet the minimum admission requirement. I really do not think even alumni parents can get their kids in without the brain.... its a Nigerian mentality to think its all about money. if preference is given, it still has to be within given parameters. e.g. you interview two peeps for a job, and both are equally qualified, for whatever reason, race, acquaintaince etc... you might have a preference for one over the other... kapish?[/quote you really think every endowment gets you a building named after u? i still stand by what i say and most universities not just harvard have this form of systemic corruption where children of alumni or so called friends of the university have an easier way in than the rest of the general population. you really think all the rich folks that go to Harvard have a brain in their head? i guess you are saying rich folks are smarter than poor folks then or are they more hard working? u really should take more time and research how some of these ivy league schools work then come back and tell me its not about money |
hmmmm read a lot of the replies and while most of the women posting on the thread are making sense what they are saying rarely plays out in real life |
Ochiban: i think we want whatever we can get away with. same as men. if men could run their mouth without consequences, men would. havent you noticed that the loudest men are often the biggest? equality should not mean being treated exactly the same, it means they should have the same rights. it is a weak man that resolves to physical violence when being abused. that is why men fight less as they grow older, they become wiser mentally and are smart enough to find other ways to deal with stupid people.well at least this is a honest response and i think most problems arise from this issue of dominion or oppression when one person wants his needs to be elevated above that of another |
Godmother: OP that's disgusting naa. How will you use your hand to eat rice. What happened to all the spoons and knives in your kitchen; are they rusted?according to who's ideal or culture is eating with bare hands disgusting |
alright cool hope more women will comment on this |
Skinni10ne: Is the world i live in fake? Lol! A happy person lives in a happy world and a hostile person in a hostile world. Ur world is pretty much what u make of it.like i said good for you but you never really answered the question what do women want equality or superiority the examples above are just used to show how women that claim to be equal to men want special circumstances in certain conditions if we are equal shouldnt we be equal in all things? |
Skinni10ne: The last time I saw guys hitting other guys was in high school.well thats good for you but back in the real world thats not how things go down |
chaircover: You missed out inferiority; the opposite of superiority.well i've never seen women clamoring to be inferior to men |
so you've never seen a guy talk shit to another guy and it leads to physical confrontation? maybe you dont hang around enough guys i was reading a story on a woman chike slammed by a man and youtube had many other examples. so u mean anybody can say anything to you and its ok? Skinni10ne: Equality for me. The man is the head but the woman the neck. One is seen as superior but they have to work together. They both have their individual roles to play but just becuz one of them is much superior doesnt mean it shouldnt respect the other. |

nadia_SA: Both!could you please expantiate? |
I've just been watching a few videos on youtube of men beating the shit out of women who ran their mouths at them and this came to my mind, do women really want equality or just superiority because as a man i know if i go run my mouth at another man and saying what are u going to do if i get my assed kicked i have no one to blame but myself and i doubt i would be able to get anybody to sympathise with me. so here are a few questions and i would want to hear the view of women on this 1. if a woman is equal to me shouldn't she be able to take a punch like me? especially if she put herself in a situation to be punched 2. if a woman is equal to a man why do they want and go to court to get child support you'd be hard pressed to find a man in court going after his woman for child support if he has custody of the baby he just takes care of it. these are just a 2 questions and im sure there are many more, but to me it seems women want all the perceived advantages of being a man without any of the disadvantages this in my view is not equality but rather looking for superiority. |
according to op we shouldnt eat again cos there is no way you can avoid all this |
Lagos to illorin: Lagos-Ibadan-oyo-illorin going took about 8hrs but coming back was a lot quicker car was a 2010 toyota corolla |
i thought underage relationships were a muslim thing. As long as we will not be truthful to ourselves in dealing with issues they can never be resolved the way people were ranting about a bill that had nothing to do with marriage you would think it was a problem only experienced by the muslims in the northern part of the country |
i have been following this thread with some interest but i have a few questions 1. been searching reviews of aliexpress and a lot of complaints turn up of either the items not being like described or non delivery of items how does the op get around this and if i receive my goods and i am not satisfied what happens next? 2. do you only ship from china or it could be from other countries such as the us? |
smh and one would think these are actual traditional nigerian cultural attires see batman miss abuja and miss bauchi own na new craze |
guy go rest jor yes some people get into haravard based on ability but many others get in because they come from very wealthy families that have given millions in endowments to these universities so maybe you should take your own advice further and actually go through more than one google answer before making up your mind tsmack: I truly fear for this nation! |
this is a lesson to kids everywhere pay attention during classes so you never for one second think 5 is greater than 27 |
DarryOsh: As i read the comments in this thread i see a lot of beefing and inverted snobbery. For goodness sake if i father is rich, she shud jump in d lagoon or wat? To d best of my knowledge, none of us chose our parents. I am sure most of us here plan to b as rich as otedola, so ur kids are definately gonna b like her. They may never step foot in naija and yet they wil claim to love naija. So please cut her some slack abeg! She should not b made to apologise for the blessings in her life. If u av a prob wit her father, face himand in your mind you made sense right? first off not every child with rich parents turn out like her and i'm sure with the priviledge she has even if its music she decided to go into this is a bad effort secondly when the said parent source of wealth is the collective commonwealth of the nigerian people why wont they complain? |
one question why do you have igbo sounding names in other states that obviously did not supply indigenous participants cant the pageant be held with contestants from only the states that willingly hold these competitions later when these people begin to riot everybody will be here calling them names but when trouble sleep>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> |
this will continue to happen as long as we dont stop holding athletes to standards that every one knows are not obtainable normally we continue to celebrate insane feats of athleticism as if the people involved are robots not humans and the athletes themselves in an effort not to lose the fame and money that comes along with it will do anything to keep up ti these unbearable standards |
