PoliticsRe: Calabar Was Never The Capital Of Nigeria by abadaba(m): 10:42am On Aug 23, 2013
OP, though I hate you so much, am with you on this one. Calabar has never at any time been the capital of Nigeria.

emiye: Hmmmm, typical ibo, always chestbeating, more emotional than logical

I told you the census put the population of rivers at 5.1 million, and as usual to your type, you have allocated for yourself 4 million ibos (90%).

If Ibos are 4 million of the 5.1 million people in rivers, then you mean the main indigeneous people ogoni, kalabari, okrika,......, the yorubas, the Hausa-Fulanis, Edos, Ibibios,....and all other ethnic groups in Rivers are just 1.1 million grin grin grin grin. Does that make common sense to you ? grin

Rivers does not start and end in Port harcourt city.
Rivers state population in 2006 was 5 million but today, its about 8 million. Half of that 8 million are Ndigbo.

Nebeuwa: He also forgot the Igbos who make up the entire Delta North.
Noops, he included 30% of Delta state as Ndigbo.
My annoyance with him is the omission of Ndigbo in Rivers state. Now I have realised it was a deliberate act from him to ensure Yorubas are more than Ndigbo.
PoliticsRe: 2016 Census To Include Ethnicity And Religion - NPC Boss by abadaba(m): 12:07am On Aug 23, 2013
Nebeuwa: You forgot Ndoni, Ogbo and Ekpeye.
He even said that south east states has 80% Igbo populations.
He went on to add Populations in kwara and kogi as Yorubas yet could not add the Igbo populations in Rivers state.
Why do people derive joy in undercounting Igbo?.

james_ibor: On what planet do you live? shocked shocked shocked

The bolded brings to question the credibility of your statistical analysis.
Dont mind the boy. Instead of him to admit he made a blunder by not including up to 4 million Igbo people in Rivers state, he is here making more bluders as he types.
PoliticsRe: 2016 Census To Include Ethnicity And Religion - NPC Boss by abadaba(m): 12:02am On Aug 23, 2013
emiye: Apart from the etche who are infinitesimal ibos, i am not aware the asa ndoki and egbemas are ibo people in rivers

I am generous to have placed ibos at 10% average population in 29 states,
For God's sake, Egbema in Rivers and Imo are same Igbo people separated by states. Ndoki in Rivers is same people with Ndiki in Abia state. You mean they are Ogoni or Ijebu. wonders shall not end.
PoliticsRe: 2016 Census To Include Ethnicity And Religion - NPC Boss by abadaba(m): 11:26pm On Aug 22, 2013
emiye: You mean 50% igbo population in portharcourt city ? I doubt PH city even has up to 50% igbo population

Portharcourt city has like 1.3 million people out of the 5.1 million population of the whole of rivers state at the last census
If Yorubas can constitute 50% of Lagos, there is no reason the Igbo cannot constitute 50% of Port Harcourt.
PoliticsRe: 2016 Census To Include Ethnicity And Religion - NPC Boss by abadaba(m): 11:24pm On Aug 22, 2013
emiye: i have simply placed all other states where ibos are settlers at an average of 10%, except lagos.

Do you comprehend now?
Am not refering to Igbo people from the south east who are settlers in Rivers state. Am refering to the indigenous Igbo people of Rivers state as you mentioned Kogi and Kwara. The people include Asa Ndoki, Egbema, Etche, Obigbo etc in Rivers state. Do not pretend as if you do not know what I mean. Or do you want to tell me that the groups mentioned are Hausas. Be serious here boy.
PoliticsRe: 2016 Census To Include Ethnicity And Religion - NPC Boss by abadaba(m): 11:13pm On Aug 22, 2013
emiye: Yorubas in kwara are not settlers, they own the land. Yorubas in some part of kogi are also not settlers. Ibos in some part of delta are not settlers.
What a silly reply you have offered here. Why did you not include Igbo population of Rivers state in your post. Did I mention settlers. Igbo people are settled in Kano but I did not ask about that.
Second, there are no 80% Igbo people in the south east states. All the south east states has about 96% Igbo populations.
Just swallow ignorance and include Igbo population in Rivers state.

PoliticsRe: 2016 Census To Include Ethnicity And Religion - NPC Boss by abadaba(m): 10:48pm On Aug 22, 2013
@Emiye, you included the yoruba population in Kogi and kwara yet you could not include about 4 million Igbo population in rivers state. Why?.
PoliticsRe: 2016 Census To Include Ethnicity And Religion - NPC Boss by abadaba(m): 10:46pm On Aug 22, 2013
emiye: In a previos thread on census, this is what i posted as regards the yoruba and ibo population, although they are educated guestimates.
So there are no Igbo in Rivers state. A state that has about 50% Igbo population is omited by you. Too bad.
PoliticsRe: 2016 Census To Include Ethnicity And Religion - NPC Boss by abadaba(m): 10:15pm On Aug 22, 2013
0lumide: I doubt you know the people that will count as Hausas during census. Remove Fulanis, Hausas are the biggest in Nigeria followed by Yorubas then Igbos..

If every chest beating will count as a citizen, then Igbos make 85% of world population..
Monkey, stop attacking the Igbo people in all your posts. Why are you so bitter in life.
Whether there are more Hausas than Ndigbo in Nigeria, that should be your headache but me as an Igbo will be happy to know how many we are. So deal with it , fool.

Horror in Ibadan
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/04/man-beheads-lover-in-ibadan/

By OLA AJAYI, IBADAN
The Oyo State Police Command, Eleyele in Ibadan have paraded two suspects who allegedly killed a 42-year old woman, Mrs. Sekinat Emiola.

One of the suspects, Asimiyu Ayantayo the lover of the deceased allegedly beheaded her and cut off her two hands after making love with her.

But the suspect claimed that the deceased died as a result of the killer charm(magun)that was placed on her by another man.

According to him, after love-making with the deceased, she, possibly, under the spell of magun, somersaulted and died.

But, when asked why he beheaded her after killing her, he said he never wanted to use her for rituals but to make it impossible for residents in the area to identify her.

He said: “She was my mistress. I contacted magun on her during love-making. She wanted to summersault but I helped her. Then she started vomiting after the act and she fell down from the chair and died. It was then I beheaded her and cut off her two hands. I don’t need the body parts for anything and I did nothing with it.”

His accomplice, Mr. Isiaka Akanbi, also denied involvement in the act, saying his friend only sent him to buy a sack for him but did not know the purpose for which he needed it.

The parade of the suspects attracted many sympathisers at Eleyele area who thronged the State Police headquarters to catch the glimpse of the suspect and the gory picture of head and the hands that were severed by the suspects.

Speaking with newsmen on the incident, the Oyo State Police Commissioner, Mr. Tambari Mohammed the neighbor of the deceased alerted the police about a headless body dumped in the area.

I smoke weed; my mum doesn't know, but why is it that *most* Nigerians, like my mum, think it makes you mad and do violent things?

It really doesn't.
It is an illegal substance. You may go to jail if you are caught in possession of it. Nigerian prisons are death traps and you may die while in prison. If you survive prison, you may go blind or have one illnes or the other.
Be useful to your life and society by remaining legal. Or have you dug your grave already and waiting to die?.

He is celebrated in even in death (. Ojukwu). I wonder who is going to celebrate your demented hero.
What did he call himself again when some Nigerians went to investigate his deteriorating mental issue. Oh I remember, he regarded himself as Abraham Lincoln. This is dserious. Jorobas should help the man out-Adekwunle

It is in the spirit of decency and conciliation than many Nigerians who fall on the Nigerian side of the Biafra dehiscence line up to pay tribute to a man who is clearly revered by many of his people. I think many of these people are in danger of capricious triumphalism or going wide astray in misinterpreting these tributes as a vindication of the "BIAFRA EFFORT" by his erstwhile enemies.

Positions and opinions are as entrenched and uncompromising as ever and it is prudent that all shades of opinion allow decency to prevail at least till the soldier is interred . That is decency as a reciprocal phenomenon
This is a no time for the above nonsense. Fulanis have been sacking Yoruba villages from one to another, yet you guys hardly see it because it is not Igbo.
Use your brains .

Negro, though you are deeply concerned about Fulani antics in Yorubaland. I think you should call the attention of Yorubas to the evil menance of Fulanis currently in Yorubaland instead of Igbo this and that everyday.

Is it the fault of the East that Awo, Abiola and your heroes never got the same honour Ojukwu's is receiving. At the moment, concentrate on what the Fulani's are doing in Yoruba farmlands.
