1025: @beaf and co, nigerians are not interested on who and who are confused now rather we are interested in who stole the ddc machines. the last time inec machines got lost like this, they were found in late adedibu's house and we knew adedibu to be a friend to the president then. please i beg u in God's name, tell your brother(joe) to bring out those ddc machines as that can only dent his image. it is not a good thing for nigerians to start thinking that we have another president that is a thief like obasanjo who stole a siezed ship and inec machines. This boy is more confused than IBB. If it were in the days of the slave trade, 1025 would have been sold without hesistation. Brainless chap. |

SapeleGuy: I will make this quick, Ita was of course leader but didn't really control the power base there was to be no breakaway region. Mid West never led the Western house but were always working towards actualising their very own region. From a strategic perspective it all depends on whether or not being an 'eligible bride' without real power is your cup of tea.
The thread is about the south south so whats the problem? and we only came in this direction after Obiagu 1's incendiary posts after Beaf's well meaning responses fell on deaf ears. I noticed you were conspicuous by your absence in terms of admonishing obiagu because his message suited your purpose.
So these eastern minorities are such simpletons and so gullible and can't think for themselves, just imagine they will now be corrupted by those wicked mid westerners - Geezer, you're better than this, this is one of the most condescending things I have read on this thread
Abracadabra, Whilst you didn't get your state, the difference is that your request was backed by either Ohaneze or the South East Senate Caucus Group. Anioma wasn't. One of the posters has analysed all the previous agitations of Anioma state by Ohanaeze. My point is that Anioma is not only the part of Igboland that demands for a state. |
Politics › Re: How Igbo Created South-south (onlytruth, Dede1, Etc., Sorry To Spoil Your Day) by abadaba(m): 3:33pm On Dec 05, 2010 |
SapeleGuy: Bros, I didn't expect such comments from you. Anioma did not materialise because it wasn't backed by those who should have backed it (we in Bendel have always backed the creation of Anioma State - they are part of the Mid West Tri Partite). Your comments are very regrettable and sum up perfectly the politics of exclusion and rejection that is being practiced against the people of Anioma.
In Delta we have a long history of cooperation with our brethen in Anioma and we will continue to support them in actualising their goals. For the second time, I warn you to stop creating unnecessary hatred among the Igbos. We demanded for Orashi state but it was not granted and no one in Rivers state is blaming the South east for that. STOP IT. |

@Sapele water or whatever, Anioma is not the only part of Igboland demanding for a state. We in the Ahoada division of Rivers state and Oguta areas of Imo state also want a state-Orashi state. That did not happen and we are not blaming the south easterners for that failure. Hence, look before you leap. |

Politically we do not look up to south east and gains nothing from there. As a result, we are clamouring for a state that will bring us to South east. That is Orashi state. This state will bring Ekpeye and Ogba/Ndoni to Oguta in Imo state. |

EYES werent open in the 70s, What a brainless post from you and the poster before you. You talk of South south as if there is no Igbo in the south south. Iam an Igbo from the south south, so get that in your empty skulls. If the Igbo goes, we the Igbo in the souh south south will not go with the Hausas or the Yorubas but with our Igbo kins. |

The major parties should zone the post to the non igbo communities. The post should be between Igbo and non Igbo. |

To settle this matter. Ikwerre and other Igbo groups constitute at least 50% of Rivers state population. |

Politics › Re: 80% Of River State is Igbo people, who and why did they cancel Mid West zone by abadaba(m): 1:10pm On Nov 17, 2010 |
Ibime: Ikwerre cannot be more than 15% of Rivers state.
PH, Obio Akpor and Ikwerre have combined population of 1.2m from the last census, most of whom are not even from Rivers State.
Ahoada might even have more indigenous population than Ikwerre. Most of the people living in Ikwerre lands are not Ikwerre.
Kalabari easily have more population that Ikwerre. Kalabari have 600000 population and most of those are Kalabari. @IBIME, you may be correct. Ikwerre people are mostly found in Ikwerre and Emohua LGA's. Obio/Akpor and PH may be Ikwerre but it is peopled by Ndigbo from the South East. @BecomeRich, Ndigbo not just the Ikwerre are about 50 percent of Rivers state. |

Speak only about the Itsekiri not ND coz the last time we checked ND is just not Igbo, or Ijaw or, Ogoni, or Itsekiri. How can u tell a fellwo ND that he cannot take ND? Are u daft? Just say Itsekiri people in ND won't go with Biafra. Honestly we don't care about you. You should be with Yoruba your cousins. Nobody is asking for Itsekiri to join Biafra unless they want.
This topic shouldn't even concern u an Itsekiri since most Biafrans, Ibibio, Igbo, Ogoni don't even think of you when discussing Biafra. God bless. Pleasae condole Beneli here: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-552009.0.html |

@Alh Harem: There are northerners in Ebonyi and other parts of Igboland. Also, there are Igbo people in the Northern states. My message is, the Igbo people in Rivers state feel insulted when you do not regared us as Igbo. There are also non Igbo groups in Rivers state, you can rightly refer them as non Igbo e.g Kalabaris, Ijaws, Ogoni etc. But my part of Rivers state, is the Igbo speaking part. I do not personally feel Nigeria should disintegrate. But if that happens, the Igbo in South south will join their kins in the South east. I do not speak for the entire South South. @Jason: The Itsekiri has never been part of the old east, so no shaken. |
