Many thanks to the Pro on this thread for the DIY information. I got my Study Visa on Friday. Application submitted on December 23, 2014. Visa pick up on January 16, 2015. I'm heading to DUT for my M Tech.

That's so cool. But the thing for me is, I am sure I will need that money when I get back home and may only spend it here. I can rough it and still survive here without the money. Hence, my reasons for not craving to collect it yet.

A friend of mine and a member of this forum collected her repatriation @Abuja Embassy and her permit has not expire,infact she is heading to SA this week.I can say authoritatively that guys are collecting their repatriation without their permits cancellation.

Its not 9am but 10am. Coming 7.30am is too early. you will just stand for hours outside and get frustrated. Its not like the give numbers by the gate, Just make sure you are there before or at exactly 10am.

It seems you are not current with the repatriation refund policy. You have to request for the repatriation refunds on or before 28th of February, 2015. I will be going to Abuja to collect mine before going back to SA.

If you request for a refund of your repatriation fee before your study permit expires, the permit will be cancelled once the repatriation fee is refunded.

Otherwise, you may need to wait for your study permit to expire before requesting for a refund of the repatriation fee.

i will advice you to apply for a new transcript, make sure the transcript is addressed and sent to SAQA directly from your school.. That's what i did when my SAQA application was suspended ..

Don't rush. saqa never ask of original documents from anybody my bro, dey request for only certified copies. if u send ur original u r on ur own o, dey keep all document received dey will not gv u back
