Who celebrated ? Even Yobe state cancelled the holiday.
It is a national holiday. All government parastatal both local and federal observe national holidays.
Did anyone do any memorial lecture apart from the sw?
Even Oyo state did low key celebration.
It is just a useless holiday because apart from those in th sw, nobody does anything memorable about abiola on that day. People just sit at home and bond with their family.
Have you no slice of sense?
This year June 12 is the inaugural democracy day, the first of its kind, thereof was a grand ceremony in Abuja with all governors, Executive, Legislative and Judicial officials in attendance. How more grand could it be with several Heads of State in honour. Don't you have a TV in your shop?
By next year, each state does its own.
How much dumber can you be.

You can kill yourself. If you like knack head for pillar. Nobody cares.
When you attend an event, food items and souvenirs are a normal giveaway. But it is rather criminal and anti-people for a governor to empower legions of poor people with 1 litre of kerosene.

Beyond their obsession with oil, access to the sea is through the SS. Knowing this much, their love for SS is deceptively genuine.

Like I said before...your stupidity is beyond the power of science so I wouldn't even know how to categorize your intellectual emptiness.

I have been on this platform for sometime and I have met a lot of very stupid people. You are unbelievably good at being stupid and I can't but give you kudos for your distinct ability to remain so dumb and unteachable.

Enjoy your bile slops o.
Imagine how utterly gutted you could be when a guttersnipe comes at you but hardly a thing you could do to put it in its place. Such aptly captures my moment.
Your being a slimy tongue will not upset my discretion as past experiences had thought me to be as cautious as much as I could to avoid my threads the risk of being deleted.

Celebrating what please huh huh Buhari should also declare the day Abiola was killed public holiday if that will put food on your table. I thought today would've been a day of reflection of what transpired then, when Igbo man declared Abiola winner of June 12 1993 election and was annulled by a norther IBB, same people killed Abiola and his beloved wife, carward is here attacking tribe that careless about them, your rants would have make sense if Abiola was killed by Igbos.
Clown, who was the igbo man that declared Abiola the winner?
Was it Nwosu who was a puppet in the pocket of IBB, a two timing coward who was muzzled from announcing the remainder of the results. A man who choked on the biggest of stages

Channel this same energy on calling out your "non performing politicians" in your constituencies. Who instead of constructing good roads, building schools, building world class health centres, awarding scholarships to the less privileged in your communities are rather commissioning pit latrines, bamboo bridges, collecting "dollar bribes" etc.

Channel this strong energy there!!!

I dare any SE Governor not to declare it a public holiday in iboland and to refuse to organize an elaborate series of event in memory of Chief MKO Abiola GCFR. Even more, I dare any Igbo civil servant not to pay Abiola & SW the honor of June 12.
While Ipob enforces May 30, every Igbo respectfully observes June 12. The difference is like 7up.

Those guys are very pathetic, he said that SS was former SW , this is when I knew that the guy is an empty skull..
The part of SS that was former SW was today's Edo and Delta.. Infant, when Edo and Delta were with SW, SW humiliated them so much that agitation kept erupting day by day, hence the creation of mid west Nigeria.. Infact Oba of Benin a First Class monarch was humiliated in a way that he was an ordinary floor member in the house of Chiefs in SW..
Their parents have failed to teach them why mid west was hurriedly created..
To tell you how dumb the Op is, he went ahead to tell me that All SS supported Abiola just to keep selling his awkward narrative.. He forgot that the same Abiola won in Enugu and Anambra, failed in Rivers Cross River and Others . [s]Abiola's election result from Today's SE and SS was mixed up[/s]..
The same SS they demonised years ago. When Igbos were with Jonathan which gave rise "Igbos are pillars of my administration ", Yoruba Muslims are still crying because of that statement till now..

Average yiryba muzlem is very dft..
Why do you enjoy peddling falsehood?.. Wetin you gain?.. Egotripping?, perhaps Consolation.

Something as easy as a click on the Google search would help discard off your crude Aba statistics, anyday anytime.
Contrary to your crudity, Abiola could only manage a win in Anambra, clearly won in Cross Rivers except for Rivers.

The OP is right on point.

I watched the Senate proceedings in a gathering of distinguished Igbo intelligentsia and the raw bitterness they displayed at Omo-Agege's victory was just shocking.

I didn't even view it from the angle of SS betrayal initially until I stumbled on this and a similar thread on the board, because they had me convinced that their hardline opposition to Omo-Agege was because of his seemingly unpardonable satanic crime of snatching the mace.

An eye opener to the discerning really.

They are vain glorious. Look at how they are telling igbos to leave lagos...no other ethnic group in nigeria will say that to another ethnic group. A yoruba man's mouth is his power...if u hear 10 times that 2 nigerians exchanged words abroad....10 out of 10 a yoruba must be involved.

Let them have their fun. They will use their ill thought action to create enough bad blood that will help end the nonsense country
If you are not as little as a 5 year old kid, I would just as much to juggle your memory.
2 years ago, There was a Kaduna declaration which sent Ndigbo into tumult. You should rather be thankful that there was no Ibadan declaration to seal up that of the former. It'd have been goodnite Biafra.

And we are also aware that once upon a time in history, Igbos, while they hijacked power, became so much beastly that after they had killed the Sardauna, they made a caricature of his dead body, insulting the sensibilities of the North. The rest they say is history.
If you would focus on the speckles in your eyes, 50 years on, you'd still have a lot left to deal.

Igbos should learn how to maintain that dignified silence and stop gratifying idiotic submissions like this with a damn response. The low IQ mo.ron who posted these trash forgot (or is rather too daft to know) that the so called South South is a multi-ethnic enclave with varying political leanings...the Ijaw, Ishan, Efik, Ibibio, Ogoni, Ikwerre, Isoko etc people for all we know might not even give a fucck about Omo agege a Urhobo man been a DSP cause he isn't one of their own (anyone who understands the ethnic and political dynamics at play in the South South will know what I'm talking about, I'm proudly Igbo from Rivers state so I know more about this things) . The very weak divide and conquer tactics which thankfully is only a microcosm of the unbelievable stupidity of these people, only goes to confirm why it's just not worth it.
You are more vile than an average Igbo malevolent antagonist and I hope the SS would address your divisive attempt as insanely as your mental reasoning.
Every blade of grass in the SS is a separate identity to the igbos. Try as you might, you can't severe the bonding that had existed among them hundreds of decades before they came into contact with the igbos.
Before 2008, Ijaws were previously supposedly a nobody till their status was elevated and with the Urhobos one step at a time, it only looks brighter, sooner than we might expect. And as many more minorities as daring to step up to the plate, you are sure to remain a bottom feeder for as much longer years.

SS are wiser now, following the event that occurred earlier. We know Jonathan gave Igbos an identity ( argue with Peter Obi) but of all his magnanimity, is there any monument named after him in the SE?
Records have it that almost immediately he accepted defeat after the elections, hordes of his Igbo fair weather friends deserted him at Aso Rock. That's some big shame.

Yoruba had & never will beg no minority. Igbo, on the other hand, do their trademark begging with some panache. Asari recently emphasized your regional status.

UPU couldn't have influenced OUK's stepping down the race. No external group or body aside the Party's supremacy as the case may be, could stand in the way of an individual aspiration especially in the national assembly. OUK alluded to the decision of the Party's hierarchy as he bowed to the party supremacy. With all intents and purposes, APC would not be blackmailed by a zone into reversing its annoited candidates. OUK has no political capital being a first time Senator among his colleagues.

The more you believe in your own lies and concoctions, the farther you are from freedom.
