Ikechu12:OUK wouldn't have stood a chance in hell against Omo Agege whom the party had endorsed. OUK a first timer carries no significance ahead of the election much less a force in the Senate. -Lion |
Xander85:Why would any one hate on Igbos? What do they have that no one else has had in abundance? Why would anyone hate on a people with persecution complex/ victim mentality except for a pity? Why have Igbos refused to congratulate the SS on their victory? Not one Igbo has, not even on Nairaland. Why so much bitterness for the SS... SMH -Lion |
CyynthiaKiss:The more cerebral you try to sound, the dumber you become. The SS was formerly part of the old Western region and as such at one time had more than an alliance with the SW. Moreso, their support for the Yorubas couldn't have been more evident by their massive amounts of votes given to MKO Abiola for an overwhelming victory, a fact of which the black sheep of the South gave their block votes to Tofa their Fulani master. In that historic event, SS were Pro SW while Igbos were Pro North. Evidently as it was earlier today, SS massively voted in Gbaja, a good turn that was reciprocated to Omo Agege. Take it or not, SS are several steps ahead of Igbos in today's political realities and the pointers are very clear. But no one would stop you from your continued politics of self destruct. -Lion |
Gabriel004:The victory of the South South has made Igbos turned against the SS. Imagine the venoms in their eyes. The SS may have also marginalized the Igbos. SMH. -Lion |
bigpicture001:You would continue to subject your destinies to the likes of Ikuku and the kerosene governor because of your lack of political awareness. Shibuzor, nobody is hating you but we can see your hate for the SS. -Lion |
kingzizzy:Right on point and the bitterness becomes more glaring. You can't be too delusional to think a SSner could care less of an historic feat, a dawning of a lofty political relevance since the last time they produced the President. If the DSP seat was that inconsequential, why did Ekweremadu and the entire Ndigbo were blowing hot airs when he was asked to step down from the seat in 2015?.. Remember, Igbos vowed to retain the seat being their only highest political slot at the time. But more importantly, why is it so hard for you to congratulate the South South? -Lion |
As soon as Ovie Omo Agege was declared the elected Deputy Senate President of the newly inaugurated 9th Senate, celebrations rent the air from across every part of the country except that the Igbos were cold. Igbos hardly could stomach the defeat of their son to a son from the Urhobo constituent part of the Niger Delta. As at the time of my writing, No Igbo has been seen to have congratulated the new DSP. Some of them, including a Nairalander( igbo), created a thread announcing his quitting politics on the account of the defeat of Ekweremadu while many others, in a very shameful manner with shared sentiments, derided the person of the distinguished Senator Omo Agege with all kinds of insults so much so their forked tongue hypocrisy was made more prominent. Their reactions to say the least were utterly disgusting, whereupon the South South however must have a rethink. Shortly after his humiliating defeat, Ekweremadu, in a bid to save face, gave a reason so stupid that makes him look too stupid in the eyes of a slowpoke. It came to no sane individual as a shock that his kinsmen would parrot his line of thoughts much as ridiculously as they are naturally wired. Why are they conveniently unhappy with the SSoutherners those at ease they hypocritically tag along? Consider this for a second; If Goodluck Jonathan had contested and won the 2011 Presidential election against an Igbo candidate, Would the Igbos have been happy with the South South?.. Before you say Yes, gently ponder on the atavistic egoism of an average group of people who consider it an affront having the minority SS knock them off the perch, down the lower rung of national relevance. Do you think such a people would have been graceful in defeat?.. But thankfully, Gej contested against a Northerner, thereby their support for him was robust and seemingly genuine. However, this thread is not aimed to disparage any tribe rather a reawakening of the consciousness of an average SSner to age long falsehoods, wickedly culture of fake love and hypocritical political alignment for the sole purpose of economic domination. Quite unfortunately, a lot many SSners had lost touch with a sense of history of the pre-independence when their forebears were marginalized, victimized and subjugated during the defunct Eastern Igbo-dominated regional government. The voice of the past minorities couldn't have been wrong neither do the present elites of the minority subgroups whose disaffections for their friendly oppressors could have been more vociferous. The lesson thereof to the South South is such that they must get rid of the monkey off their back and believe that they could achieve whatever they desire just as they did earlier today. South South Be Wise! -Lion |

Anthony should fight Wilder and win then he gets all the hype and millions ![]() Nonsense ...
Look well, we are not talking about okro soup here. Carry your big yansh and get out. -Lion |
benson1411:Empty barrels.. Folks as daft are notable on this forum for being ridiculously shallow. Gbaja is on a tour, doing what your super docile, less politically savvy leaders would not have ordinarily dared. Come next month when Gbaja shits on your flat:heads, we shall be here to console you. -Lion |
benson1411:Chibuzor, Aba-made analyst.. Lol -Lion |
Yemi7up:Tinubu would rather reply PDP as an umbrella body of political heavyweights than an El rufai who stands no chance at tieing his shoe lace. Reno couldn't be any dumber. -Lion |
And you have to put this up when Ipobs are about to sleep. I see a lot of used bottles of sniper by tomorrow morning. -Lion |

Ever since Asari came up with the explosive video, Ndigbo have been peeing in their panties.. The real slaves; Ijaw slaves Yoruba slaves Hausa/Fulani slaves *spits -Lion |
Alashoalash10:Those ones are still beneath the Olubadan. -Lion |
How could you have 5 first class emirates of equal authority within a state. An act no one would have ever envisaged. Sanusi's emirate would kick and few years down the line if Ganduje's successor dare revert to the traditional status, the newly enthroned emirates would kick. I fear for kano. -Lion |
celeiyke:Where were your kano votes when he failed at three attempts? 2003, 2007 & 2011 It's no news that Buhari became the President through the support of the SW. Don't be dumb. -Lion |
Saraki who, similarly said he would teach lagosians how to defeat Tinubu, has now been retired to being an elder state man with his dynasty demystified. Same fate awaits El rufai and other overzealous nitwits who dare to challenge the overall interests of the Yoruba nation. I am rather amused by the general attitude of the idiotic pigs of Biafra over their recent support for Elrufai whose son, a few weeks ago, lambasted Ojukwu and went as far as urinating on the entire Biafra nation with all manner of insults. These demented slowpokes could slap their mothers inorder to spite the Yorubas. You are warmed never to push the Yorubas to the wall, else, you are finished. Tinubu, Ijaya 1. -Lion |
[quote author= These are mere excuses i do not agree with because say for instance Nigeria, will SE and SS folks use Lagos sea-port when they can do something similar even if it means co-operating between each-other to achieve that? It is simply lack of political will on the part of Nigerian Government to do that, cos as we speak, billions of dollars have been wasted on Lake-Chad region looking for Crude-Oil that is not there. It is in the interest of the region where Lagos Port is situated to have the only truely functonal sea-port in the country...Obasanjo made sure of that.
Calm your titties. If it were to be in the interest of SW, a Yoruba man rather than Atiku would have been the biggest beneficiary of the concession. But a large number of guttersnipes from the ridiculous SE would be so ridiculously daft as to place their tongues on Atiku's anus and lick it clean at the instance of being his slaves for an elusive seat of a VP. By your earlier comment, you couldn't be more dumb by saying Lagos port is no longer sustainable. However, data shows an increase in revenue by 80% in a year period. How more sustainable could it have been going by daily operations. *spits -Lion |
SarkinYarki:When Yoruba makes a move, y'all political greenhorns and serial losers take a backseat. We've been there, seen it all, done it all. We accept every challenge as a game of wits. 2023, you shall adress the Yorubas as your Excellency. -Lion |
Imo1stson:Abagworo, you are a loser. ![]() For 8 years, Okorocha couldn't produce a list of worthy successors but a self destruct attempt at imposing a family dynasty on the people of Imo. He is the most stupid governor in modern political terrain. Let him face off with Oshiomole but he is no match to Jagaban in all ramifications. Let's see how far the North would gang up with the Igbos who themselves are an anathema to the north. SW 2023 is sacrosanct. Done & Dusted! -Lion |
RTSC:Innoson turned our soldiers to lab rats. Soon after the soldiers' complaints of innoson, aftermath the Metele attack, the Federal Government signed an MoU with Proforce. Innoson is nothing but only useful for buying snacks and a list of inventory in any parastatal. Employing the use of innoson in any combat operations is as good as death trap. The government of Sierra leone might very likely regret not consulting with Nigerian Defence Hqtrs before embarking on a self destruct journey. -Lion |
Hmm... He who has an ear, let him hear. Death trap siddon jeje, you waka come buy am, wetin you dey find, Wahala, you dey find.. Wahala you go geti oo... Seems lives mean nothing to the government of Sierra lone. -Lion |
