He knew she lived a reckless life, and he was willing to proceed, so he should be able to bear the consequences of her actions.

YES, that aspect that the love knew about,the womb came into the equation after their marriage leaving the guy in a confused state

My sincere advice is that you should tell her or call the guy to clear the air between him and your sister. It will go a long way to save their marriage even though you didn't do it on purpose I.e you met the guy before your sister.
