Good day all! I never thought I will never create a topic like this because I believed I had a perfect love life. I have to create this moniker just for this topic that has and still eating me deep. I will try to make it as brief as possible.

I have been a relationship for 7yrs with the lady that I love beyond measures. I do anything possible within my reach to satisfy n make her happy. She has also been wonderful and almost perfect (nobody is). We started dating from uni days and where d pride n envy of many even after school.

After my service, I started looking for job but as things get murky in d labour market, I started a little ICT troubleshooting hustle, just to keep body n soul together before d job comes. Now this lady has been supportive all d way, after her service she moved to where am based, we managed what we have. She got a job while I was still doing what I do, I could provide for d daily running around like food, clothing, small bills, etc. I could pay my rent sometimes but atimes my siblings support me. When biz haven't been good.

Now this my lady resigned from where she was working because her female boss wasn't treating them well, tru one of my friends I secured a better paying n welfare job in a construction firm for her. We have been doing fine all this while but when I proposed to her she said we should wait till I get a better paying job. I make an average of 35-40k at d end of month but because I spend on what we need in d house I usually don't have it in bulk at d end of d month. She earns around 80k plus a car. Her new boss gives car loan to all his staff down to d secretary. She is an engineer there. She have been having this fear of lack because of what she faced as a child, so whenever d issue of marriage comes up she says I shld wait till I get a job n when ever her friends or mine wedd she cries n complain that I dnt want to marry her. I have promised her that we can make it with our present earnings n with time I will get that job. I knw I live far better than some married men in terms of finances.

This year I made up my mind to ask her for hand in marriage on vals day, but last week she gave me d shocker of my life, but telling me she had moved on because of my employment status. I have begged like I ave never begged anyone before, telling her that am very sure d job will come before d babies start coming. She told me she has found someone else and that she has made up her mind.

She still loves me, but the job issue I her phobia, dont get me wrong she is very decent n has been faithful all our yrs together. Right now my heart is torn to shreds, I don't sleep at night, I cry every night, I cant eat well, I have lost weight. Am I beginning to scare my self with d kind of suicidal thoughts I have these days. I have built my whole adult life around her, I try to let go but cant.

Pls nairalanders advice me before I do something drastic, I need all the advice I can get, am on job sites 24/7 now just to get something n probably win her back. She is not after riches just d basics. And for those that will lash me, I need it too, it might cheer me a bit.

Some 7 months ago I was transfered to our directors office and my life changed for the better. I noticed my boss is very friendly especially towards me and trust me with key responsibilities. He gives me audience during board meetings which am not even qualified to attend. He recently approved an official car for me of which is not meant for staff on my grade level. Over time. I got used to him and I did not know how I unconsciously called him daddy. He smiled and kept his cool. We hang out a lot and he advices me on investment and wealth. Something g I cherish and put to good use.
2 weeks ago he said we need to go pick his daughter from the airport. He dropped his car and I carried him to the airport.
I meet his gorgeous daughter and the meeting was electric.
For the next week he directed me to take her around town shopping and saloon. I asked of my office duties and he said someone else has been assigned to cover for me.
We shop and club regularly but problem arises whenever I told her am going home. She wants me to always be around and am avoiding such offers to avoid doing anything g that will spoil my relationship with her father.
I resume work and the father has began to ignoring me and avoid me, when I ask him what the problem was he reply that
I make him unhappy because am avoiding his daughter.
Then I got the message clear. Now am confused because the girl sweet and cuddly but am not in love with her but her father who is my hero wants us together.
Friends what would you rather me do?

Similar to what happened to me 2day... Wanted to climb a motorcycle when a young lady rushed towards me and ask me for money to eat, i have to give her my N500 offering and then trekked to church, on my way back, someone was shouting my name "Great, Great" i turned back to look who was calling, behold the person was a friend of mine who just returned from south africa, she appologise for not sending a birthday msg to me last month, to my suprise, she deep her hand inside her bag and brought out N3,000 and gave to me.

Today was just like every other normal day in my workplace, everybody have resumed at the appropriate time, me and a colleague were standing close to the gate and the security man wasnt around at about 9:30am a Chinese man and a Nigerian man just alighted from a jeep without greeting, he asked us where is Mr bola(not real name) who happens to be the general manager? My colleague just hissed and replied him in pidgin( come wey u u no dey greet abi naso una dey behave for una side? Abeg get out of my front).

The chinese man was ashamed of himself and i was just laughing at him as he went away in shame.

NB this colleague of mine is a contractor who is almost through with his work in my work place. The point that i am trying to make in this story is that this white people especially the chinese, lebanese and indians don't regard us as anything because of the way we see them as god in our land while most of them are common laborers in their countries and when they come to Nigeria they will be forming expatriate and be using us like rag. That mentality must be put to an END.

thank u lordmecuzy. The issue is that I am close to getting a job as a PA to a CEO of 5different companies. I actually had an interview yesterday and when I was asked how much I want as salary, after telling them that they should pay according to their salary structure for that position, they insisted I say what I want. @ d end, I ended up telling them 90k. Don't really know if I d amount I said is little. Though they said they wld get back to me

It all happened during the festive period,me and my friend travelled home together in his car just so we can hook up for few days in his town before i get to my place since his town is close to mine. We left on the 20th and logded in a hotel in Benin for two days before heading to Asaba. during those two days all my friend did was bang bang bang.as if dat was not enough when we got to Asaba...he continued to the extend that he even banged one in his car.I tried talking to him on several occasions but he wasn't trying to hear it,we even had a quarrel because of it.
