obum88: I WEEP!
I weep for my country Nigeria.
I weep because the interest of the party is greater than the interest of the nation
I weep because the youths of this nation keep giving the olders ones reasons not to hand over to them
I weep because when someone preaches change but uses the old means as a yardstick
I weep because we are drawn along ethnic lines
I weep because after so many years of toil we are still were we began.
I weep because those who were able to speak up are criticised asking them where they were during the last administration.
But I believe one day I will tell my children I witnessed the great transformation this country ever needed.
I believe that one day we would no longer be blinded but the words of politicians who want only for themselves
I believe that one day we would hold our leaders and demand all that they had promised us
I believe that one day our leaders would think things through before they make empty promises
I believe that our nation would one day be consulted by the Western countries for advise in areas they would never understand
And I believe that that day I would be alive to witness it. keep weeping bro |

Business › Re: How A White Man Surprised All In The Bank by Abbey2sam(m): 8:53am On Nov 07, 2015 |
arabianights: Was in the bulk room of a first generation bank and crowd was quite bad ( yet they say no money ).There were some igbo men that had come to deposit quite an amount of money and had been conversing loudly in their dialect not caring that they were been a nuisance. All of a sudden a white man comes in and the teller receives his cash whilst ignoring the hisses and insults of customers.
The igbo men, trust them started insulting the man and went ahead to add more in their dialect, the white man then, calmly turnsto them and responded to them in IGBO language then went on to add a few more sentences... the whole bulk room kept shut out of shock of course.I turned to him in amazement to ask him on how he learnt igbo and he smiled and responded to me fluently in HAUSA.
Apparently, he had been there before every one else but the account number was wrong and he was told he couldnt make calls in the banking hall, he then went out to make a call and wait for the right account number. On his return,hE went straight to the teller as she had assured him that when he returned ,he wouldnt have to join the queue again. The teller should have explained to all instead of ignoring customers.
Any way my point is that these white men are smatter than us, they learn our languages so as to enable themselves settle in and do business whilst most of us go to their countries and come back the same people we were when we left if not worse. inferiority, that's your case op |

I Rayhut: Freedom of association is allowed in Nigerian constitution, Igbos are free to have Eze Ndi Igbo in their state of abode, if they have a community of Igbos that come together and decide that a particular person will be their leader, there is nothing wrong in it, but the said Ezeh should not interfere in the affairs of the king of the native of that town or parade himself as King because it is just an appointed post by his people and not a real king. About recognition, the governor and Obas should not recognize them as king, they should recognize them as a representer of his own people. Group of people speaking the same language and living outside their domain suppose to have a leader to protect their interest, that is why they have Sarakin Fulani, Hausa in Lagos. At last I see one reasonable igbo |
Celebrities › Re: Ali Baba Writes On Back-stabbing, Is He Referring To Helen Paul? (see This) by Abbey2sam(m): 9:54am On Oct 15, 2015 |
opeyemiie: This is getting interesting, Helen Paul recently took a jab at Ali Baba, Gordons and Basketmouth at the AY live show in Port Harcourt recently where she said that Ali was getting old and had no more jokes to crack.
But, it seems like Ali Baba has replied her with a post on Instagram this morning.
See what he wrote below:
♠♣♠ in life, there are many reasons some people will hate you. There are many reasons some will run you down. Some will say all sorts to make themselves feel important. Or get out of a tight corner. Some do it just to be happy. The people that you should beware of are those who say things and in spite of how wrong what they said are, still try to tell you they did not mean it. Or didn’t mean what they said “that way”. There are those who make you feel comfortable and just when you are settling into the besto zone, stab you in the back. I have heard all sorts in my short life time. One time, an event planner wanted me to be Mc of an event and wanted to get a female co-mc, so I suggested 2 names. One of the ladies I suggested, told the lady she should get another Mc that she could work with. Why? The event planner asked. Ali is old, get a younger Mc. As fate would have it I still worked with her. During the event, as I wrote notes for her, to introduce several segments of the show and how to bring on different dignitaries, the event planner will come backstage and smile. She came in backstage once, while my co-mc was on stage, using an intro I gave her and said, “Ali you are rare. Someone just commented on how awesome the introduction ********* (co-mc’s name) gave the last speaker was. I nearly told him you wrote it. Especially after what she said when I was trying to book her.” Not necessary, I replied. When people write you off, get right in. Some two years ago, someone said Ali Baba’s time has passed, I did a straight 6 hours of stand up comedy. All of my original stuff. Many of the comedians who were at the show, have since boosted their jokes arsenal with some of the materials used in that epic performance. And since that 6 hours, many comedians have received free jokes as often as we meet. My producer @officialbunmidavies told me jokingly that if the 6hr video is made public, many people will see the source of some great jokes. But as Zakilooooo will say Judas no stop Jesus. It’s allowed. People who don’t see you in economy class are unaware you are lounging in First class… Even when you are on the same flight. (thanks @mi_abaga) Who the cap fits. ♠♣♠
And then we could be wrong and he might not be referring to her at all.
https://instagram.com/p/8zq1oYmavc/ hes definitely referring to helen Paul, her jokes about gordons and Ali baba were insensitively sensitive |

Crime › Re: 15yr Old Boy Dresses As A Girl, Sneaks Into Female Hostel To See Them Naked(PiC) by Abbey2sam(m): 6:50am On Oct 15, 2015 |
contactmorak: A 15-year-old boy identified as Yusuf Saleh has been arrested by the Zamfara state police command after he disguised as a girl and sneaked into the girls’ dormitory at the Federal College of Education (Technical) Gusau, Zamfara State.
According to Daily Trust, Yusuf had sneaked into the hostel about 6am today so that he can catch a glimpse of the unclothedness of the female students while they were bathing in an open place. Fortunately he was discovered by one of the female students.
His discovery threw the school into pandemonium as the students thought he was a Boko Haram member who was there to attack them.
President of the Student Union Government of the college, Maryam Ibrahim, said Yusuf was seen wearing a wrapper, Hijab and a headscarf, adding that one of her colleagues who was able to reveal his real identity drew the attention of other students and he was quickly caught and handed over to the college security personnel. When interrogated, Yusuf said he dressed as a female so he can avoid being denied access to the hostel. He said he was just there to see how the hostel looked like.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Sanusi Amiru confirmed the incident and said investigations is ongoing and that the suspect would be charged to court soon. http://www.splendormag.com/2015/10/photo-15yr-old-boy-disguises-as-girl.html perv |
Crime › Re: My Experience With Robbers Last Night by Abbey2sam(m): 6:45am On Oct 15, 2015 |
Missali: At 11pm last night, I was awoken from sleep when I heard footsteps at the window. There is a curfew at 7pm and at that late hour, it is expected that people are in their various houses. This is not the fist time robbers have attempted to break into my house but this was intense.
I quietly got up from the sitting room floor I was laying on and moved to the bedroom to join my grandmother and baby cousin on the bed. Gradually, the footsteps heightened and from the room window I could see men standing. My heart sank and I suddenly, I had a hard time breathing. My grandma tried to calm me down and it seemed to worsen.
I wasn't wearing any cloths and I usually sleep and thought of getting something to put on. These robbers sometimes rape girls and it doesn't help to be naked in the first place. That would cause some noise so I decided to forego the thought.
They started to spread out. A number of them moved the front and some went far out to the background. The ones at our window kept talking in whispers. I really couldn't fathom what they were saying as my heart was racing faster than I could ever imagine and suddenly I heard these words 'pass me my gun.'
I think I died! Immediately I turned into a prayer warrior, mumbling incoherently in whatever tongues I could speak. I asked God to forgive my sins, I thought of hiding under the bed or inside my grandmother's wardrobe. But what about her and my cousin of 4years? I tapped grandma to tell her what I just heard and she assured me to keep calm, my cousin on the other hand was very much asleep. I instantly wished I could turn into a child and be unaware of what was going on in my surrounding.
Taking a pillow I covered my head and put a fingerin each ear. Their voices grew louder and just then, a dog started to bark. I have always hated that dog (and all dogs generally), but I think it helped us.It barked violently from a distance and seized a bit. Then resumed, this time even more and came towards our window, running and barking. I could hear the footsteps of the thieves fading as the dog got near and soon after, there was a heavy downpour; the kind that shook the place.
They went to other people's Windows and probably other compounds. The rate of robbery in some parts of Rivers State is becoming alarming. Needless to say, I am not sleeping at home tonight. Should my heart keep skipping this way, I may have hypertension before 20. so you still live with your grandmum? lol thank God your ok |

Romance › Re: The Trick I Used On My Girlfriend In Order To Know She's Been Cheating On Me by Abbey2sam(m): 4:28pm On Oct 14, 2015 |
emmboy: I was having a feeling that my girlfriend was cheating on me. I tried asking her on different occasions but she maintained she wasn't. I thought she might wanna open up to me but I thought wrong.
I've been telling her to go for an HIV test long before all these, of which she promises to go for it but she ends up giving me so many excuses why she couldn't, like being busy and all that.
So this particular night she came over to my place and we started talking, I asked her again if she was having an affair with someone else but she denied again. I needed to know because I didn't want to waste my time with anyone, I wanted to know so that I could know where to place her.
So I told her I'd gone for my own HIV test, and she needed to go for hers as well. She wanted to know the result of my test but I told her never to mind cos I won't and if she's lucky enough, hers might just be different from mine, knowing we've had it raw too many times.
I think she got struck by the cord, so she started pestering me and begging me in fear to show her my result, but I refused blatantly. I stylishly told her she's really done so much in my life by changing me to whom I am and preparing me for what I wasn't ever prepared for.
She thought I was HIV positive, I was putting her on her toes cos I didn't come out clear, then I asked her who she's been sleeping with apart from me. I begged her for the truth this time, that telling me the truth is the only thing that will make me show her my result. That was when she started crying, telling me how she got pushed by friends to dating this guy, not only that, she's been having unprotected sex with this same guy and at the same time with me.
I didn't see the writing on the wall at all so all these was so surprising to me. After telling me all that, I told her I'd not done any test, and I'm grateful I know the truth now and the truth has set me free.
I dumped her sorry ass cos no amount of pleas could change my heart. A couple of weeks after, I did my HIV test, with my heart buried in my lungs, but thank God I'm negative and I'm not gonna screw this second chance I've got.
So pls readers, no girl is worth the raw no matter how much you feel you trust her. And also, checking your HIV status is the only way to know you are positive cos before then I thought I was cos of so many symptoms I used to have but surprisingly, after knowing I am negative, all the symptoms stopped. Thanks for taking your time to read. Have a nice day. thanks for sharing |

After four years of marriage with a child(3 years) armed robbers came to their home. They loot away all of their valuables and raped her (three of them). Her husband was made to watch the whole show. . She was taken to the hospital and properly treated. And she was back to normal, No STDs. But ever since, (it's been over 6 months now) her husband have refused to 'Touch' her. When he was confronted, he said he couldn't bear to sleep with her after having to watch another man Making love to her. The family had set in but all to no avail.
Now, she's feeling miserable and even wish the robbers had killed her. I feel very upset and sorry for her. Mummys and Daddys in the house, any advice on how to overcome this Has anyone experience such Please help, your advice are needed.
