Romance › Re: Do I Have The Right To Collect My Phone Gift Back From My Ex? by Abbey2sam(m): 11:53am On Oct 26, 2014 |
jidestroud: Firstly, i feel so stupid and used. okay, the real story is this, I promised my girlfriend (Now ex) a Samsung Note 3 phone for her birthday. Luckily for me at my place of work, the cooperative had the same phone up for pick up. As a guy who is deeply in love and knows that giving is part of maintaining a healthy relationship, i decided to pick up 2 Samsung Note 3 at the rate of N130,000 to be paid over a period of 12 months. Good news, the birthday came and i delivered. Bad news, just 2days after my warm heart gift to her, she BROKE UP WITH ME. REASON: She doesn't see a future, blah blah blah...family issues, cultural differences. i'm in the second month of my payment now. still paying for my Ex phone.
Advice: Can I ask her for the phone back? i feel cheated. (To make matters worse, she even uses her new bobo as Dp's on her bbm, for a phone i'm still going to be indebted for the next 10 months.
SHOULD I GET MY PHONE BACK? i know people will probably insult me for this but I don't give a fucckk...not that I have any to give though ... i will collect my phone , you know why? Her story is a lie, she used you just to get that phone, well I don't even care if the story is true bro do the needful modified... how can I be in my right senses and buy a phone worth 130k for a girl ...... in tayo's voice...I'm I mad |

Education › Re: 10 Reasons Why A Polytechnic Graduate Can Never Equate To A University Graduate. by Abbey2sam(m): 7:48pm On Oct 25, 2014 |
Zico0: Let's not fool anyone, the OP is right. No young student ever plans to attend a polytechnic in Nigeria. There is a scramble for university and so the two major criteria are brain or money, therefore, the less intelligent ones are shoved aside and shared between polys. and the NCE. So if your in a polytechnic your not intelligent enough, although you might be very brilliant: Find wisdom.
My point: students in the university schooling are more intelligent that ones undertaking the polytechnic education in general.
A polytechnic is less structured, organised and funded than a university, as anything may go in a polytechnic. After all if your so intelligent why aren't you in a university. Btw, i attended a polytechnic for two years before i upgraded. your a$$ must be jealous of your mouth cuz of the shiitt dropping from it |

Nairaland General › Re: Baby Born In Ibadan Clutching Qur’an by Abbey2sam(m): 3:27pm On Oct 24, 2014 |
lovelyprincess: A renowned Islamic preacher based in Ibadan, Oyo State, Dr Dawood Amoo, has described the birth of a baby boy clutching a pocket-size Qur’an as one of the signs of Allah. In an interview with journalists in Ibadan, Amoo said although the development was not strange, the boy named Ismail was unique as the said mini Qur’an contained all the 114 chapters in the holy book. The preacher testified that he was one of the earliest callers at the Owode/Academy, Ibadan residence of the parents of the baby to witness one of God’s wonders.
He said the mother, Jelilah, gave birth in a church at Oniyanrin area of the city, where the baby was seen clutching a strange object in his left hand. “The woman, who took the delivery, thought it was one of the devilish drugs used by the mother to terminate the pregnancy, hence she threw it in the dustbin,” he explained. Amoo said that the said object, which later turned out to be a pocket-size Qur’an, was wrapped in a thread. He said that with the forceful removal of the object from its hand, the baby became restless and continued to clutch an empty fist. “Following his restlessness, a local cleric advised them to go and bring what they took from the baby which later turned out to be a copy of the mini Qur’an.” “They were all afraid to touch it until I got there and I had to remove the remaining thread on the object and to my surprise, it was a beautifully- designed pocket-size complete noble Qur’an,” Amoo Said. He said although the Qur’an was small, the lettering inside was readable and complete from chapter one to chapter 114 of the holy book. Expectedly, the 2/” title=”View all articles about news here”>news filtered into town and Ibadan people had since turned the residence into a mecca of sort. Jelilah, the elated mother of the baby, said since September, when the baby was born, nobody could take the Qur’an away from him, as he would be restless until he clutched it.
