ba7man: GEJ is seen as a fool for earning that much, depleting the nation's reserves, still borrowing and having just a handful of uncompleted projects to present. Then why stating that it lasted 16yrs? I mean the embezzlements! And what do you think is responsible for the sudden flop in oil prices. Btw. Why is APC complaining now Isn't change what they preached? To do things differently? APC should know the health state of the Nation before coming to power as they had ample time to study, plan and brainstorm on the way forward. Winning an election and ranting about the same flaws that gave rise to your party winning is nothing but cluelessness. Nigerians said Jonathan was "Ali baba" among d 40 thieves. They rejected him and voted Buhari. All what APC is doing now is just telling Nigerians what they already know. PDP squandered Nigeria's economy! Shebi thats why APC was voted! Now politics is a shame in Nigeria. We never had it this stupid. Snake and monkey swallowing money and no one held responsible Rat chase Buhari out of the presidential office! Chai. At that point, I just fear God... |

Can you be more specific about the period of oil boom and the amount made during that time?? 16yrs is broken down into 4 year term remember? |

They handed over a wrecked economy to PMB with low oil prices and output but they keep lying to deceive their gullible followers that it was PMB's fault. So what did PDP meet after those wasteful and stealing prone military era?? PDP met a sick Nigeria after the military almost ruined our wealth and future... |

Fidido: Like I said you have intelligence deficiency and really it's not an insult it's a fact you can't think straight yourself so resolved to the typical narrative because it's convenience right.
What do you know of oshiomole ?! Yes oshiomole was a labor leader, NLC president. Bros let me be honest with you oshiomole was a labor bureaucrat, him and his kind have their own limitations. Even the role oshiomole played in the labor movement was a role of the system "caretaker". The labour bureaucracy at best are reformists...they seek to make the system work better, to polish the system not to change the system that exploit the working and poor people. There is where oshiomole and Sowore are different. Sowore came from the tradition of intelligent fighter for emancipation.
Well in your limited way of thinking you'd say oshiomole was an activist, keyamo was an activist , and all that. Bros let me tell you what differentiate the activism of Sowore from those, it's the political consciousness and ideology. They differ hugely on that. Don't be lazy this time read through the campaign manifesto of oshiomole when he first contested for Edo guber and that of Sowore-AAC now you will get more enlightened.
And lastly that oshiomole was an "Activist" have it's own benefit and yes he was the first governor to initiate minimum wage of #25k when the national minimum wage was #18 and many of his colleagues were not even paying that #18k. You see that despite his own limitations. Dude, did you see the way and manner Sowore disrupted a ministers meeting in the US some years back? Seeing the video shows an impatient, stubborn, arrogant, bold and fearless man. Yes. Bold and fearless. But he is also impatient, arrogant and stubborn, which is a character flaw for any would be leader. The office of the president is not a place for emotional time bombs like Sowore. Imagine his arrogant display at the Ooni's palace! That shows how far away from reason he can be at any given time! With such a man as president, war can happen anytime. He is an extremist in ideology... |

This is so sad. So Goodluck Jonathan did not consider these ones before he timidly threw in the throwel.
And some misfits dare refer to him as a hero of democracy. Shame on you GEJ.
Other dimwits will now blame Buhari for this people's misfortune. It is right of Buhari for not interceding. PRESSID was a GEJ initiative.
These stranded scholarship recipients should channel their complaints to GEJ who is morally obligated to ensure their total welfare. This is not about PDP or APC, it is about being responsible. What is this one saying?? So he should spend his personal money on them or rig elections to stay in power so as to continue sponsoring them? I am not understanding you at all. NwaAmaikpe:

Donald Duke is someone I consider a friend. He is an intelligent young man with a proven track of excellence in leadership. His personal life is also a reflection of the great standards he sets for himself. His proficiency in the Saxophone and his knowledge of Jazz paints him as a multi-tasker with a healthy work-life balance.
In as much as Nigeria will be best with a leader like him at it's helm of affairs. The time is not now. This battle is for the swift, This race is for the strong. This is also a battle that must be won if the war will be won.
Donald Duke is not that man to win this battle considering his electoral strength in the core-North who are programmed by default to vote based on ethnic and religious sentiments. Only Atiku has the speed, the strength and Northern political clout to win this fight.
So a vote for Donald Duke is a vote lost to Atiku and a vote for Buhari. We must eliminate vote-splitting by not considering the featherweights if Buhari must be sent back to Daura.
Even Donald understands this. You should too. Please do not split your vote by voting SDP. Let's unite and vote Atiku so that we can send the dullard back to Daura. You just prove why nigeria will be backward for a long time coming. See the reason qouted? Battle between strong and swift? I laugh. I know for sure this mindset of voting party and regions will continue sinking Nigeria. So tell me when the time is if not NOW!!! |

Felixv: Which irresponsible government abandons incomplete projects and start new ones — oppps. Pdp
There is no need to start anything from scratch while you have thousands of abandoned projects littered across ton country - no thanks to the recklessness of the past governments.
Let’s be serious in this country and for once behave like a responsible county
——-///- Ilorin- The federal government has completed the costruction and rehabilitation of the abandoned Ilorin -Jebba federal high way.
———————
Federal Controller of works, Kwara State, Engr. Atitebi Wasiu Kunle, who announced this on Friday told a team of journalists led by the minister of Information and Culture, Alh. Lai Mohammed, that the 93.6km completed road is part of the entire road contract awarded since 13th December 2013 by federal government, stretching from Ilorin-Jebba – Mokwa route at the contract sum of N14.579 billion. Very good. So how many of such projects as been completed? Is completing abandoned projects the main aim of this govt? Where is the change promised? Is there any change in the way we do things as a nation? Apart from infrastructures, where are the changed policies that truly fight corruption now? Are our ministeries and federal parastatals now corruption free?. . Now, you rate this govt according to their electoral promises. How have they truly performed?? |
