Almost every time people ask me that what type of product do i think is well profitable to import from china and the rest of the world to Nigeria.

But thinking deeply about this question you will agree with me that it is not really answerable, because the best product will depend on your feasibility report, targeted niche, mass-buying power, marketing skills, legal compliance of the product and a lot more.

To be candid there is no product that's best to ship from china. No matter the list of products you're able to come up with, you will always find a huge amount of home-based suppliers who have been importing those same products on your list.

But assuredly if you can brainstorm and do a lot of research work in what is needful and has been existing in western countries but not yet in your home country, you can build an empire around such products and make substantial profit as you're just injecting this new product to your economy and people will be more than willing to pay the price to get it since it's going to serve their needs.

1. Buying from a seller that sold just 65 items is not the key distraction,check for other sellers of such items again,like 3 to 5 other sellers of same item. If the patronage is also small,then know it that people are not really buying such product. Check for the product on other platform also,if same thing happen,don't buy the product. Also check if the previous buyers are from oversea countries or just china alone.

2. No difference between Yuan and RMB. The distinction between the terms "Renminbi" and "Yuan" is similar to that between "Sterling" and "Pound".
The short answer: Renminbi is the official name for the currency and Yuan is the main unit of currency.

And lastly, don't ever buy from any site that don't have buyer protection, secure payment method and quality reviews from clients or from any chinese site that ask you to make payment transfer with a personal name bank account or western union.. If you can't undergo the stress and time to scale though then contact any tested and trust third parties individual or company found here in nairaland to assist you.....

We can't really give you the real figure of yuan because each day rate is different. But it is good we let you & rest people know that china local credit card issuing banks charges 5% upon any purchase we make in 1688 that is what we use to make purchase over their and same charges apply to Chinese Alipay. And when we want to remit to our Ale-Airpay team in china the currency is USD not yuan so all those processes will definitely affect the currency yuan. So Our 1 china yuan rate in our local currency is between 37/40.

Lastly, Mr. Abbeyforex thanks for that enlighten of the method but remember that most chinese sites like 1688, don't accept international card expect china local credit / debit card & alipay all in yuan currency. That means that method will only be for enlighten and not for use purpose as long there is no direct payment with our local card to yuan currency. Like example everybody is aware that Cbn usd rate 197. But bank like Gtbank is 226/228, which is even higher than parallel market.

You are definitely right bro,those figures were just to guide him. I know exchange rate changes within seconds depending on the volatility in the FX market but that can still serve as a clue. Whenever am ordering,the rough figure I use is 1 Yuan =#35 and the real rate will be known after payment must have been made,though this doesn't include the 5% bank charges.
