Please I need a good auto shop where I can fix my car.
Issue: I usually notice vibration on steering wheel when doing 90km/hr and above. I also notice slight vibration when accelerating though not frequent.

Workdone:
Faulty tie rod replaced
Degraded brake disc replaced
brakepad replaced
Alignment done

Observation:
Car still vibrate at 90km/hr and above.
I checked the car manual and it says CV joint needs to be replaced. My mechanic check the driver side of the CV which has slight clunk sound when pushed/pulled though not noticeable when driving or turning and he said it is ok.

Please I need serious help. My Lexus Rx350 2008 model SUV has the check engine flashing. Each time its flashing the power and performance of the engine reduces. I had a scan run on it it complain about the no 3 and 5 coil which i have change with another one,the cylinder misfire. All that can be done has been done even to the extent of changing all the spark and ignition plugs but still the problem persists.

Please what can I do, spending a lot on the car. Could it be electrical problems?and the car is working well before,i just notice the oil is dry and finish quickly,so when it was the time to change the oil for servicing i change both gear and engine oil, at that point the mechanic advice me to ring the engine,so agreed with him,so go-ahead at the same time he condemn the crown-shaft as well, we fix all this,after ringing the given did not bring out the good voice,i was told the timing is not correct they brig the engine down to re-timing it back....at the end of it,the check engine flashing. Each time its flashing the power and performance of the engine reduces and i was told again is wiring problem,some rewire even told me that my brain bus has to replace,please sir/ma someone shuold please assist me ooo......i have spend less that 500K STILL not getting the result ,thank you help your brother,

The oil shortage can just be a symtom of bad oil it self.now ur mechanic don scatter the engine finish.
Get another technician to help you inspect the engine.
Best bet replace the engine to have rest of mind sir.

Good day guys.please I owned a 2015 tuscon i35 bought brand new and the car has served for the past years.recently I noticed it jerks while in motion. And because of that you have to be gently with the accelerator.i have changed the plugs but it's still the same.

My Toyota corolla 2006 is having movement issue.

When it happens the car begins to sound like a throttle being pressed but very slow movement till it comes to a halt. The car whether in drive does not move or even in neutral cannot be pushed.

Before it starts the movement episode it would raise a little then Jack forward to move as normal

Then when you leave the car to cool day like 3hrs.
You can then move it.

My mech is thinking between fuel pump or gear.
Note that I have never worked on the gear before. The oil is also not black. Since I bought it in 2019. Naija used but in very pristine condition from some one who was relocating overseas reason for being sold.

Pls what is the probable cause

Physical inspection need to be done sir.but you might be having issue with ur breaking systerm. Still need to be inspected and run a scan tho.

Do you still have the factory ac compressor or it has been replace, check if the compressor is sitting properly if not it can cause d issue.
Check power steering pump pully if it okay or not

Hmmm first you need a good technician to help and check d fluid level if low or not.
Second, the oil cooler need to be inspected to see the condition.
Third just replace the fluid with original ws oil ohh allow it run properly and take for another test drive.

Good car avoid overheating by all means.
Get a good technician to help you inspect be4 purchase to avoid story.

Change engine oil and filters pls use synthetic oil 5w20 or 5w30
Has for ur transmission oil get a good technician to help you inspect if it require to replace or not.
Check break pads, has long has there's no funny noise on d suspension then u are good to go for the next 5000miles if you use good synthetic oil ohh.

What should I do next?

Secondly, I get bumpy rides whenever I drive at low speed, even when the road is smooth.
I took it to the alignment guys, they said I should change tire. I did, but the issue still persists.

Spark plugs, ignition coils can cause this issue but it better if another technician can help you inspect it again

P2401- Evaporative Emission Leak Detection Circuit Low
P2402 - Evaporative Emission Leak Detection Circuit High
P419 - Evaporative Emission system valve control circuit low.

Evap sensore need to be replace. Theres one inside the engine bay and theres another one around the evap canister at the bottom of the car at d back. Needs to check the two and replace them if possible

I have an issue with my Toyota 2014 Corolla and it's occurred four(4) times in the last one year. I drove the car out and everything was normal, on getting home,i tried to park the car and it was just dragging both in Drive and Reverse. when i let the car cool off till the next day, everything worked normally again. it accelerates well and shift into gear without issues. I took a road trip yesterday and same thing happened. I got to a checkpoint and stopped, when i tried moving after i was waved on,the car just wouldn't move. it kept dragging both in Drive and Reverse, I had to let it cool of for a moment with the engine still running and everything worked well again but i noticed it never accelerated beyond 70mph. I changed the transmission fluid about 4 months ago after it did same thing and there is no check engine light on my dash or any light at all. I would need help on how to solve this.

Try scan the car with an advance scanner that can show a pending code or history code from there you can know what wrong with d car sir

I want to convert it back to automatic but the amount them are calling is crazy o. My question now is, can’t I get a manual compressor that is carry come for my engine? The ac man said yes, I can get a 2.4 capacity manual compressor (which comes with big daddy) but I still need to change condenser and all that stuff and flushing too. Still plenty money. My ac expert here, pls help, advice me.

If you can afford the 2.4 manual go for it sir, it very relaible for ur car but you still have to replace the condenser, expansion valve, and maybe some pipes plus flushing too no other way around execpt you just want to spend ur money twice on same thing. So ur ac man is right sha. But it ur choice to use. Dont buy Peugeot compressor because it will vibrate for sure

Nothing good like toks engine it will give you rest of mind at least sha.
If you have a good technician it can be fixed back to normal till when you will be able to replace the engine

I bought a toyota camry 2011 model in September 2024. I Serviced the engine after purchase with mobil oil in December because rarely drive it. Few days after service, I travelled with it to Iseyin from Lagos, on my way back to Lagos on the third day, I got to 7up around Alausa, the car just stopped. I checked I couldn't find any fault, I thought it is a electrical , after a while I tried restart it and it actually start and I drove to Ikeja and it stopped again. I therefore looked for an electrical technician who helped check, on a second thought, I decided to check the engine oil and to my surprise, the oil had dried, then I allowed the engine to cool before refill with a new engine oil. thereafter the engine started making loud noise anytime I tried to put on ignition.
My mechanic explained that some parts in the engine has been affected and I've to replaced it, which I did though by another mechanic.
But since then I've been having one issues or the other. The AC is no longer cooling until you accelerate, some parts in the alternator was burnt. And, besides the noise has not stopped.
Kindly assist.

2011 camry omo possibly 2ar Engine 1m plus be that ohhh. Get a good technician to help you check and plan to replace the engine to have peace of mind.
Ac not cooling until you accelerate might be compressor issue but ones you solve the engine issue you can know what wrong with d ac.

My gear delays when shift to drive (D) for some seconds.
During the morning time, delay is in fewer seconds but when movement has been made the time delays increases. Sometimes it becomes difficult to engage.
but when it’s engage there are no delay in the transmission process. It drives smoothly.

When shift to (R) reverse. It engages at normal time.
There is no problem with R engagement.

I drive a Camry 08 4plugs

I noticed a wobble on the leg from the front passenger side. This happens mostly when I have accelerated now cruising (coming downhill) without matching on accelerator. So when I want to accelerate again I feel those damn wobble otherwise car accelerate just fine.

I have change the shafts (first I changed the outer ones of both legs) then when it continued I went to change the inner shaft cup too. But I still feel same thing.

I called a second mechanic I trust to drive and feel but he said car is fine and accelerate fine and that he didn’t notice of feel anything.

But when I drive I feel it and it even makes a wobbly sound too.

I have done wheel balancing and alignment too.

Don’t know what else to do. Pls my experience engineers help me. What could be wrong?

A lot things can be the cause
Right side engine mount
Drive shaft
Bad rims
Bad tires.
Just have to check one after the other.
Try get a brandnew drive shaft.

Continuously toping the gas will damage ur compressor very soon. There's a leak in the system find the leakage stop it before adding gas.

My question here is: I bought a concentrated imported OEM engjne coolant for Ford Edge 2011 model which I mixed 50/50 with distilled water. However, the remaining mixed quantity I'm using for top up got spilled by mistake from the gallon.

Now I need about 100ml to top up level require and I don't know if adding ordinary water or distilled water will cause combustion problem later.

Pls advise me expert here with experience cos I won't have hands on original coolant until June.

But why is ur radiator coolant keep going down 🙄
Why not look for where it leaking from so you can rest from toping up coolant every market days.

If you want to buy one leg for 150k why not just buy brand new set for 250k make you rest. That,one leg might be tokunbo because you wont see one leg for new. Tokunbo now is not reliable at alllcis a no go area in lagos dont know about other state ohhh so just find money and buy new shaft abeg

Brainbox (ECU)
If no wiring has been tamper with before the issue start.
Get a good technician to check all the fuses one after the other if nothing is wrong get another ecu and test.
