Guys my ES300 is having trouble accelerating and I scanned it and it showed the problem is knock sensor. I have tried different knock sensors and it still shows the same issue. I don tire. What can I do?

Please I need help my lexus Es350 won't crank at all and security light is flashing, and if it starts now it won't go off at all when you switch it off and try to start it again it won't crank and it will take a long time before it will crank aga almost the whole day

Hello fam.

Pls my 2007 es350 check VSC light has been on for some time now.

I have tried clearing it severally but it keeps coming on after driving for sometime.

The technician says it's because there is no catalytic converter in the vehicle.

But I feel it's not the catalyst that's the problem.

Pls any Idea on what else to do about it ?

I drive a Camry 2010 model and when I change my gear to reverse and drive the vehicle jerks/kicks vigorously. I have change engine Mount twice. Also, I have recently noticed a 5 sec delay when I change from reverse to drive.

I have attached a screenshot of the scan report gotten few months ago.

Please I need help from someone on what could be the cause.

My alternator was not charging my car battery which triggered the battery sign. This has been worked on and alternator tested ok. But since then the battery is not charging fully as my battery keeps discharging even while driving. Though the battery sign is no longer showing. Please assist with what could be the possible reason for this.

Good morning my people,

Please I recently changed my Exhaust system and after sometime I noticed that my vehicle jerks while on motion, according to my mechanic he said that fuel mixes with water somewhere.

Now I hear a kind of sand at the back like woooooooooo while accelerating the vehicle. This sound can be frustrating. The mechanic said it is inner shaft bearing, which he has changed, yet the noise is still there. Please does anyone have an idea of what is wrong please?

Hello house, I have an 2006 Corolla that is having oil leakages. I have changed the valve cover seal and crankshaft seals solving the leakages there but I discovered that there is a small leakage at the back, doing further investigation I discovered that the leakages is from the Timing Chain Tensioner as shown in the pictures. I ask by mechanic about it and he has no idea what I'm saying (I don't think he has done a job like that before). Has anybody been able to fix the leakage from the timing chain tensioner before? I saw on Youtube that the rubber O-ring will be changed and the crankshaft will have to be turned in a certain way to unhook and extend the tensioner back after fixing a new rubber ring. I don't want to give this job to somebody that has no idea what he's doing. Pls I will like to be directed to any good mechanic (in Lagos mainland) that can do it without messing up my chain timing.

My 2005 Toyota Camry jerks when I hold the brake while the car is in drive or reverse. I’ve also noticed a burnt smell coming from the car, and I know the catalytic converter has been removed. What could be causing the jerking?

Just know that 95% of the so called engines are scraps....speaking from experience. Give toks engine good 7months.

That engine I believe is the 2GR variant.It hates overheating. Just save towards changing the engine.All these mechanics are just something

Camshaft changed two different times and it didn't work out.
the stupid mechanic removed the engine metal claiming it is the culprit making the grinding sound on cold start and the grinding sound still persist on cold start though car engine is running fine but camshaft check light is on.

Should I plan on buying a new engine since the metal had been replaced? though the mechanic said he replaced with original metal.

Please my Boss GAZZUZZ, Kingreign and others I need advice 🙏

I was not condemning your comment, rather talking against reason for that high price. Most of those seller also repair damage fan and resell as high as you quoted.

20K for fan that most damage part is carbon brush, which will not be more that 2K for cost of carbon brush.
