Best is to replace it .
If you buy tokunbo now you might not be lucky best is to buy new camshaft it avaliable

I changed the bottom plate of my es350 and also did an oil change

After that I noticed it's showing low engine oil level after putting 6 liters of oil.

Pls what could be the issue?

The engine has a oil level sensor at the bottom right side of the engine it either bad or the sensor is not socketed.
6liters of oil is enough tho.
Check the oil level sensore

Check the socket if it properly fixed.
You can read the sensor with meter manually if it not working then you will have to replace the sensore.

Try run a scan on the transmission to see for any code.
Might be low on transmission oil

I drive Toyota Avalon 2006, my gearbox spoilt, so I change it by buying direct Belgium.
After fixing the new gear, when u put it in reverse it will shake the car, while when you put in drive it will jump gear 2 to 3, mechanic told me it’s because the injector head is bad and making the vehicle overheat which I noticed. But after testing as I want to pack the car, the drive gear stopped engaging, only the reverse is entering with a big sound that will shake my car.


Please help me.

Have the car scan and drop the scan code.
You might have a bad ECU aka brain box.
The gearbox you bought might be bad too. But scan the car first.

My car is Camry 08, 4 plugs. Vibrates on idle. The idle is low when I am waiting in traffic. I have scanned and nothing came up. Check engine light is sha on and has been on forever. Pls gurus what should I do?

The throttle body (injector mouth) might be dirty require to be clean.
Too much load can be the cause too possibly a manual compressor has been install on the car.
Need to be inspect physically since you said you have scan no code.
Or better still have a bigger scanner to scan the car.

My 2006 Toyota Camry i4 has a shudder with the following characteristics:
1. Vibrations start at around 50m/hr or 80km/hr.
2. Happens only on light throttle.
3. It goes away if I let off the throttle or press Down and it shifts to a lower gear.
4. Only happens after 5th gear when the rpm drops below 2000.

My suspicion is a faulty torque converter for the following reasons:
1. If I turn off Over Drive, limiting the transmission to 4 gears it never vibrates.
2. I’ve dropped the pan, cleaned and actually flushed the transmission fluid with T-IV. And it made no difference; so I know it’s not a fluid issue.
3. My tires are new and balanced
4. Car runs smoothly at same speed it usually vibrates when I turn off OD.
5. My engine mounts and shafts are tight with no clucks when I engage drive or reverse.

Please gurus am I on the right track? Your contributions will be greatly appreciated! If I am on the right track, how do I know a good replacement TC?

Have you replace the compressor to another model before? If not you need to inspect the rollers properly.but if you have work on d compressor be4 maybe it not seating properly.

I inspected the O2 sensor and discovered the cable is disconnected from the engine

Reconnect it back clear the code after test driving if the code comes back replace the sensore if it does not u are goid to go sir

Both is better depending on ur capability.there are a lot of good tokunbo cars here in 9ja already just need to inspect properly to pick the right one.

Es350 any time any day GS and Is has eletronic steering rack na the issue be that.eletrical problem but if you get plenty money to spend after purchase no problem sir .

Thanks for the support so far. I was the one who asked about a Toyota Rav4 gear replacement. The gear has been replaced, but I noticed a leak which a mechanic said is from the gear seal on the shaft. I would like to know if it is a simple fix.
Secondly, I noticed that the instrument cluster readings on my dash seem to have some form of zero error when the ignition key is in the "on" position. The tachometer seems to start at 500 rpm, pushing the idling value to around 1500 rpm. The speedometer and temperature gauges read way below zero and the fuel level does not go below a quarter tank even if the fuel is empty. These gauges rest at the zero point if the vehicle is turned off. Please advise if there is any solution as the reading on the temperature gauge seem to be causing the check engine like to come on (P0128 and P0118).

Haaa they have dismantle ur transmission box already sir.it a 50/50 chance. It either it work if they did a good job or you end up buying another transmission box.

Hello guys, I need help. Let it not be that my mechanic wants to scam me. This morning I engage my car reverse gear for my boy to wash my car. After cleaning I decided to go out. After matching the gas pedal to floor level I realised it seized. Not this isn't the first time I'm warming my car above 6000 RPM.
So it seized all of a sudden and doesn't go above 2000 RPM. I decided to engage reverse gear. It didn't engage. My other gears are working. Only the reverse gear. My mechanic came and took it away only to call me that there's a damage to the gear box and to fix it will cost 580k. But if I'll buy another one it'll cost me 2M for Belgium and 1.2 for accidented car.
Please who has experienced this and what's the way forward. My Car is a 2011 Toyota Camry Sport.

NB: also about 5-6 days prior to that incident, my car has been showing (MAINTENANCE REQUIRED) on the dashboard. Could this be the cause? Please help me

Its not leaking but the water dries up and i have to put water daily and stop to refill at intervals. what could be the cause cos i was using radiator coolant but as it dried up i replaced with water to understand what happened. Many things can be the cause sir the best way is to do a physical diagnostics to know what exactly is wrong.
Head gasket might be blown out
Heater core might be leaking
Water pump might be leaking
Even radiator cover can be bad and allow the water to flow back outside while driving.
Best way is to inspect properly sir.
