My steering is stiff and the power steering oil is leaking. The mechanic has traces and worked on it but it's still leaking and stiff.
Gurus I the house pls what's the solution to this.

What type of car
If there's too much air inside the system it will still stiff.

Good afternoon everyone. I recently bought a Nigerian used 08 Honda accord for a good price but there are some issues that I am now noticing in the car.

First, some of the yellow lights on the dashboard won’t go off, like the VSA, TPMS, check engine light, ABS light and the triangle light. Initially the brake light was showing but after a diagnosis, I had to change the break sensor, but once I changed it, I stopped seeing the brake light, but these other lights now came out of nowhere. They were not showing before. Also, my shock absorber needs to be replaced, but would it affect the other lights?

Please I will be grateful for your assistance so that I can resolve this issue without spending unnecessarily, or being cheated by my mechanic. God bless you

Scan the car and drop the fault code,that will tell you the reason why all d yellow light is on.

Guys, please I need your advice. The transmission of my Rx350 2013 is slipping. I took it for a scan and it threw up fault code P0715 (input Turbine/speed control sensor A). I've taken it to that gear master and he's going to open the gearbox tomorrow. We've checked the wire harness for any possible damage and even changed the PCM but it keeps throwing the same fault code. In fact, we changed the brain box of the car just to be sure that nothing is wrong with the ECU. I just did an oil change on the transmission. The gear master seems certain that it's the sensor, hence, he will be opening it tomorrow. Do I really need to be worried? Is it a minor fix? Kindly advice.

Try and replace the sensor.
The sensor is outside on the gearbox tho.

I scanned and got a P0420 and P0430 error code
I bought and installed all those O2 sensor adaptors on the upstream O2 sensor for bank 1 and 2.
The error code is still there

You are suppose to put a adaptors you bought on d lower sensor after the catalyst not be4 the catalyst.

Scan the car for fault codes.
One of the EVAP valve might be bad allowing the the gas to go straight inside the engine when you just bought fuel inside

To all gurus in the house, what is the effect of reintroducing thermostat which had run for years without it? Car is honda accord 2009 and pick it up last month. Had overheating issues 2 weeks ago, mechanic said radiator was blocked and did a flush. While bleeding the system after re-installation of radiator, discovered that the car had no thermostat. Before then, I know that the temperature guage raises and stays in the middle but now, after the flush, it takes a while for the guage to rise. I don't know how long ago the thermostat was removed and I want to be careful so as not the cause further issues on the engine.

Buy brand new Radiator and re install the thermostat back inside it should work
But before going for test drive please you will have to check live data from the scanner to be sure everything is fine before going on d main road.

Have you by any means work on the AC before? Maybe change the compressor to manual instead of the factory automatic?

Get a good technician to check live data for the oxygen sensor if it okay or not then replace it

Thermostat stock open or absent

Transmission range sensor A check the wiring. Rat fit don chop the wire.

Misfiring and throttle body cleaning are not d same thing.

My Toyota Corolla 2010 model AC is not cooling well. It only cools very early in the morning and at night. During the day, especially under hot sun, the cooling is very poor.
I also noticed that the AC cools better when I accelerate the car or when I’m on motion, but once I slow down or stay in traffic, the cooling reduces.
Please what could be the likely cause and recommended solution?

Get a good technician to test drive the car so he can know where the issue is coming from. Not just changing part up and down

My 2008 Camry 2.4L keeps throwing P0303 and P0172 codes. I've already swapped out the plugs, coils, and fuel nozzle, and an electrician checked the wiring, finding no issues. The engine idles rough and jerks at low speeds. When I unplug the coil wire for cylinder #3 while idling, there's barely any change in the RPM. My mechanic thinks it's an engine problem with cylinder #3.

Have anyone encountered such issue before, I'm afraid of bringing the engine down.

Did you have overheating issue with the car recently?
You might be having top gasket issues.

Hello everyone,

I have been having some issues with my Lexus rx330 AWD.

So if the car is parked for long like over night or for like 8hrs or more, it is difficult getting it to move.
Like in the morning if I engage drive the car won't move. I have to raise the engine speed for sometime before it will slowly begin move forward. Though once it moves it behaves normal if I disengage and re-engage the drive. The hesitation is no more.

This issues only happens with the drive gear, reverse works fine no matter when I use it.

I was suspecting a failing transmission pump but if this were the case the reverse gear will also be affected.

The transmission fluid level is okay and it doesn't smell burnt or look dark.

I recently did a filter cleaning like 6months ago.

I am seriously suspecting one of the solenoid valves that engages the forward gear or a blocked valve body.

Any suggestions?

Get a bigger scanner and scan the car for transmission code.
Get ready to replace the transmission, don't even think of repairing it tho

My Corolla 06 usually delay when the gear is engage only in the morning or when the car is parked for atleast 5 hours. I scanned it and I got P0500, something related VSS fault /speed sensor. Pls who do I call? Rewire or mechanic!
I have also watched some YouTube video and I noticed the sensor is attached to the gearbox.

VSS code won't make your car to delay
Try replace transmission oil and filter if that will solve the issue if not get ready to replace the transmission.

Good day everyone here. For months now I've been having problems with my 2010 toyota corolla. The car hard starts. If I'm lucky it starts after the first crank in the morning but it takes too long, dragging before it starts. Other times the first crank would be unsuccessful and the second or third one does the trick and sometimes I need to step on the gas pedal for it to pick up.

Vehicle has been scanned and brought up some codes about misfire, timing and oxygen sensor.

Things I've done based on recommendations: serviced the injectors, changed spark plugs x2, changed fuel pump x3, timing change job done and yes the timing chain wasn't properly set, changed coils.

Yesterday was the worst, had to spend the whole day at the mechanic watching them work on the timing. I want to believe these guys are not sure what the problem is, I need help 🤲🏾

However, when the car is cold the coolant reservoir level goes empty(I top up both radiator and coolant everyday)and no traces of coolant leak on the floor or on the water pump(water pump is still intact and no leak, no noise, no abnormal movement). Repair done- replaced the radiator cap with OEM cap, bought OEM new thermostat, water hose inspected no leak anywhere, radiator fans are working perfectly well. Please could someone provide me with an answer

If the car is warm up before you open the radiator cap it will surely push up pressure because the engine is just building up pressure.and ones it cold the engine will take back from reservoir to replace the ones that pop out.
Solve the cylinder 5 misfire
Plug ur scanner and leave the car running check for live scan and observe the temperature reading ones the fan comes on and went off allow the engine cool down then open the cap and see if it will push out pressure or not. allow the engine to cool I mean very cool before opening.

have you experience overheating issue before on the car?
You might have head gasket issue.
Need to do cylinder drop test to be sure.

Scan ABS
Scan tpms too to know what wrong with any of the sensor
