preciousaang: If I'm being honest, I'm not sure. Reason being I'm not exactly a web designer per say. I'm a backend developer. So if we're going to to build a project. it won't exactly have the best frontend interface. But you can rest assured that it will touch everything I will teach you. Don't worry about the front end, I can craft something for our project. #anxious4nextLecture |

Webmasters › Re: Blog Backlinks: The Difference Between Dofollow And Nofollow Links by abdeiz(m): 3:43pm On Jan 13, 2019 |
SEONaijaExpert: Building backlinks isn't an easy and magical process. It's steady and effective approach that works best. As you for toward it, patience is key if you want genuine and juicy links.
First you must understand that NOBODY is ready to give you juicy link for free, almost every DA45-100 dofollow link blogger or web owner is aware of tricks which users might use to generate these links, so here comes the work of SEO experts that knows their onions.
Something's these links are given via your network and connection with other bloggers, either via mentions or guest postings. Sometimes, you wrote some really good contents are some high DA blog or web will reference you. I've enjoyed all forms of link building but these mentioned isn't easy to get.
Also, you could find a real link builder that can generate dofollow links to balance the many nofollow that you already have (yes, we always have many nofollow links than dofollow). I don't mean spammy links or links from blacklisted sites or IP addresses. It's a lot of work and patience is key if you're engaging someone.
In summary, you can be patient enough to work hard and get these links or you fasten your journey by paying someone to do it. By default, it takes at least a month for most dofollow links to mature. I don't need to talk about the importance of backlinks anymore, guess you know that. You can start building those links if you want to go through the process. Is it me am I just lucky to meet someone as knowledgeable as you. It's hard to find someone so willing to give insights to such type of knowledge. I really appreciate the effort ..and will duly take my time to put to work immediately your advise. I hope others can learn too. |

Bros...from your preceding post and this current one it sounds like you want us to help you point a finger at someone for this setback.
It can be frustrating I know but do you think it's wise go before your boss? A woman for that matter, she even helped to submit documents.
Just try and reach a compromise with your boss, she can again help placate the head office on your behalf. it seems she wields much power there. |

Wow...I never knew there any thing called dofollow and nofollow links. I'm new to SEO and concerning the link building process, the only logical process I could think was as you already mentioned building your links slowly.
But I keep getting confused by this backlink of a thing, how does one do it?

Jobs/Vacancies › My Botched Interview Story by abdeiz(op): 7:27am On Jan 12, 2019 |
As getting a good job is hard, interviews become a scarce commodity like the holy grail.
Last year I had two interviews I blame thyself for sabotaging. The first was a phone interview, my phone fell that day and the mouthpiece was bad so I had to raise my voice before I could be heard. The interviewer claimed I was arrogant and disrespectful. Opportunity dissipated away. #sigh
The second I blamed myself for being too truthful. ..I was overly honest about my qualifications and even watered down some aspects of my abilities because I hated doing it. Never got even a regret mail ever.
And just recently I may have done it again. ...was even given an offer but somehow I managed to screw it up because I asked more questions about the job...it may not be my fault but it's getting annoying.
Does one has to start lying and please the interviewers at all cost? isn't this a bad sign already that people are ready to demean you before giving you a job? |

Valerie47: I am not going on dixk fuxxking spree, I can't just be sleeping around, I won't stoop so low, I have my own definition of fun, being an introvert has really hindered me from having real fun . You need to redefine your definition of having fun....as a fellow introvert i have my own fun and it has nothing to do with anything immoral. Stop comparing others with your, you might see them all happy and smiling while partying day in day out but its all a charade, some are very lonely unlike us, some have to cope with pressures of keeping up with appearances for the gram, some cant even boast of one true friend to fall back on. So my dear, dont envy those extroverts...we can have fun our own way and be fulfilled at the same time. |

Webmasters › Re: Learn Laravel From Scratch... by abdeiz(m): 7:21am On Jan 11, 2019 |
preciousaang: No. It's actually a syntax for the templating language of Laravel. If you like you can use <?PHP echo $name; ?> instead. But that will suck the whole fun out of it. Because the double curly braces actually do a lot of things for you behind the scene. For example it helps you escape the strings. Ayt...got it...*thumbs up |
Webmasters › Re: Learn Laravel From Scratch... by abdeiz(m): 4:01am On Jan 11, 2019 |
Here we use the double curly braces to get a value....it this the equivalent to superglobal variables in native php? ie Get, Post and Session preciousaang: So let see some functionalities of controllers. We can pass data from controllers to views. All we have to do in pass a second argument into the view() function. This argument should be an associative array in which the key is the name of the data and the value is the actual data being passed. |
Webmasters › Re: Learn Laravel From Scratch... by abdeiz(m): 3:58am On Jan 11, 2019 |
I like how you add humor to your lessons, keep it up, we are following preciousaang: But this is very stupid way for me to introduce controller since I introduced it as a badass function of Laravel. Sorry for that. Let’s get into the fun stuff with controllers. Well remember the first route we created, where we returned a view, well we originally do that in a controller. So let’s see how we can do that. But first let me create a folder in our views folder, you know, the folder where we keep our HTML files. Note that all files here must have the “.blade.php” extension.
So you know how I’m always calling them HTML files, well I lied. They are actually called templates.
So I’ll create a folder called frontend. |

Politics › What Has Happened To The Youth In Politics Movement? by abdeiz(op): 7:38am On Jan 10, 2019 |
A couple years back there was furore, outrage and widespread calls against the discrimination against youths tin politics. Alas the government conceded and passed not too young to run bill- A bill perceived as the salvation of youth in the country. This was a good sign but it came with a catch. ...for youths to run in office they had to pay ridiculous amount of money to pay for the nomination forms. Of course this was a deliberate strategy to hinder their involvement and perceived threat to the current office holders who are ageing and corrupt.
Now it's barely a few weeks to the E-Day and the youth movement had been eerily quite for quite a while. What has happened to their voices? Were they satisfied with the palliatives given by the government? Were the loudest voices silenced after attaining their goal of enriching their pockets? So many questions left unanswered. |
