If you are a Digital marketer you should know that you dont need a Certification, just recognition, testimonials and your online presence (either for your agency or personal brand) is enough to get you your daily bread and most likely even more sef. You see here in this country no one wants to employ someone with just one skillset, so getting SQL alone wont be enough especially if you want to be a database administrator, you need to be knowledgeable in SQLlite, Microsoft Server for starters then more advanced skills like Oracle 12g and other Non relational databases like CouchDB and MongoDB TheKingIsHere: What about acquiring skills in SQL? What are the prospect of getting a good job with it? |

Im not sure about the competition as long you have the certifications, there are jobs out there unfilled. The main challenge is just getting the skills, no be beans o jade14: so true,
had to switch from I.T field because of that,
you just keep reading, keep re certifying and the competition is just way to high, |

Romance › Only Pained Guys Shame Ladies. by abdeiz(op): 9:35pm On Dec 01, 2018 |
Currently on the Nigerian social media sphere are two hot topics that continues to fuel debates on a quarterly basis. Yahoo Yahoo guys and Unmarried women over 30. It is now a trend for guys to slut shame ladies who are reported to have fell victim to the antics of yahoo guys and to make pathetic attempts to seemingly hurt ladies who arent married yet. Its only pained guys who have been rejected time and time again who go out of their way to spew thrash online. I mean what is your own business if they follow yahoo guys...can you not simply resolve not to follow them too? And so what if shes in menopause and unmarried, were you in her shoes throughout her whole life? who are you to judge that she is a hoe? and if she is what is your damn business Reading comments from both parties during arguments got me to be more emphatic towards the ladies...some would call me an asslicker but as usual...i wont care. My advice is for ladies to shun such threads and comments as it subconciously damages your psyche, and guys...i shake my head in apparent despair when i see the mentality we are equipping ourselves with, such mental decay needs to be stopped. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Post Abuja Jobs Here by abdeiz(m): 7:25pm On Dec 01, 2018 |
Statistics from foreign organizations who are famous for their objectivity have continually shown that the unemployment rate is Nigeria is hopeless, majority of us who follow this thread are unemployed or underemployed, the political spin doctors try hard to make us believe that things are getting better but nay only for them it seems. You want to get a job you must need a connection, not just any connection but a strong one.
How do we change our situation in the face of all prevailing adversities?
I do have an idea but it eventually rests upon you to do the needful. this post may not be perfect so contributions and corrections are encouraged.
I have two Propositions to better your situation.
a. Get a skill: not just any skill, do your research and know what you are going to be good at, ICT skills are the hottest in town right now and it isnt restricted to only programming, it is a very diverse and broad field.
b. Sell yourself: I want to focus more on this because many of us dont know how to market or brand ourselves. You have finally acquired the skill, prepared your CV and submitted both online and physically at numerous countless offices yet no response, does it mean you are lacking somthing still? You believe so and acquire another skill but still the same results, telling the employers that you have such a skill isnt enough anymore. What do you now do?
A well know wise man once said "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results", so change your tactics and try out different methods or routines. You may now ask...What other thing should i try out? i am out of ideas. No need to worry...i can gladly tell you but only if enough interest is shown for this current writeup.

Wow you can really write a good read. Had some difficulty concealing my giggles. Anyways why the biggie about a girl? dont worry within a week you would be over it, anything past that and you vindicate her, you would be a weakling. No woman should make you have heart palpitations unless she wants to kill you, or steal your life's work. She wasnt into you in the beginning and her attitude showed that, move on to someone who would appreciate your light skin. and i hardly comment on romance threads. |

Cant help but to agree. If you make so much money as claimed why sell your secrets and invite unnecessary competition, forget altruism jare lele007: I dunno why I pity you but let me just help your life.
2 kinds of people make money thru "online business" 1. a website or blog that is POPULAR, tens of thousands of viewers everyday, and 2. people who sell the dream of making money online, like the ones you are begging here.
don't waste time or money on no. 2. if they really are good, they would be too busy being no. 1. They need suckers like you to feed.
I've said enough. |

Please how can i get my hands on those videos, a link or just hint on what online business you engage in, im about to go full deep into fiverr soon, just polishing my skills at the moment. Thanks and please do reply. Purplekush: as a 28 yr old who was fresh out of service. I started online buisness with my blog and was raking in 250 to 300k plus per month. after like 3 months the income rose to 1mil plus and even 2.some in some months.
Then I started trying out new investments...
LONG STORY SHORT: lost 800k to MMM. By Feb when MMM was confirmed to have crashed, I went ahead to lose another 1 Million naira and 6 months trying to set up another online business.
The painful part was not the 6 months of no income but the bad timing.
because, I had already paid for some plots of land before then. Paid for my new apartment. Was about making down payment for a new Corolla 2015 model when MMM crashed... and the investment started acting funny.
I was TOTALLY SCREWED!
I come lose lappy wey I buy 250k then Acer V Nitro. I was so depressed the only thing that kept me from SUICIDE was MaryJane. I owe my life to her
But then I was able to cash out around 300k plus on the 1mil investment and I am currently on another HOT NICHE and just 2 months in it i am glad to say I now make at least 9 to 15k a day.
By God's grace and if this one goes well, I should be hitting 7figures per month from next year. INSHA ALLAH! AMEN.
Nothing beats losing money to some yeye deal. It brings out the adrenaline in you.
WORD OF ADVICE TO ALL STARTERS: think Internet business. It's cheap to start and gives you room to make mistakes with less financial loses. Besides, the ROI is totally insane!
I used to have a set of video courses for pple who are always asking "show me the way" but then nobody wants to put in work. Most peeps just want free money. |

I once applied but told to pay a certain amount, doubted the legitimacy ever since. donestk: Remote Internship in International Development
International development is a very broad sector encompassing a huge range of organizations and job roles. Entry-level applicants need to be proactive, determined and flexible. You do not necessarily need to have a Master's degree in development to 'do development'. Most employers will look for at least six months and up to two years experience. This is so you can demonstrate practical knowledge of the sector.
Be aware that getting opportunities 'in the field' can be difficult for new graduates especially those without prior experience and internship positions in this sector are very limited and difficult to secure.
Dataville Research LLC's remote internship programme provides you tailored training, guidance and real responsibility from the beginning, quickly preparing you for entry-level positions in the international development sector.
At the end of this 3-month programme, participants should have a grasp of the rudiments of international development, data collection and management in development research and programme implementation.
The main target audience for this internship is international development prospects who will be directly implementing and evaluating programmes. Because of this, we generally stay away from very theoretical and academic content and opinion pieces that discuss problems without providing any practical solutions. A strong emphasis is placed on experiential learning, meaning that interns will be learning through the implementation of key phases of work in this internship.
