My Jamb registration number was omitted from
data uploaded to Nysc
portal, so my status there is saying 'I cannot
register. Can correction be effective even when Nysc opens portal bcoz my school is not on helping at the moment( LAUTECH )

Regularization is all abt having a valid Jamb number, i was admittd tru pre-degree, ws givn mathematics, wen i reached 200level, i crossd to computer engineering. We were askd to do jamb regularization, they told us to fill our former course instead of the 1 i crossed 2. . Checked nysc portal and i'am gud 2go. . Does dat mean i av to regularize again? Nope it doesnt , its all abt aving a valid jamb no.

Bro, its not a must you regularize ur jamb number... Since its valid,it dos not matter whatever course you graduated from...What nysc need is just your name to show on jamb database..

Regularisations is for those with invalid jamb reg no or those with incorrect data on Jamb database.


NYSC only need to verify your information on jamb database. Once you registered for jamb and sat for the UTME, the information you filled in was(is) and tally with your current info. You don't need any regularisation.


I know some who were mobilised for batch A, and now serving in various states have either of the problems you stated above.

Get it right....


Try to know what regularisation is all about.

Don't waste your money on regularisation...
