If you're only about 10k short and your heart is set on that phone then chill. If you're still a ways from your target and you're not deadset on mi9t then consider mi8 or pocophone etc.

It matters what you're looking for in your phone. For example, oled screen was a big factor when i choose to go with mi8. Maybe it's ir blaster for you, or in display fingerprint.

Just don't rush cos these things cost a lot of money. You can always sell and buy another one sha

Disable WiFi and Bluetooth scanning. Despite the network, I think the Note 5 has a better battery backup than the Redmi Note 7.

I still think a software update can improve the rn7 battery life. My mi 8 was quite disappointing up until the last update. Out of nowhere, battery started respecting itself despite the fact that i have the ambient display on all the time.

Wifi and Bluetooth scanning turned off was helpful with rn7 sha

Go to settings and find "full screen display." you'll find what you're looking for there

Plz is there a solution/explanationto this? my apps sometimes will just close while i am using it. I have noticed it with whatsapp, chrome browser, file manager and some others. I use a R7. What could be the problem? The fone is still fairly new, not up to 3 months. I am also on the latest MIUI and i am not a heavy user of the fone. Does anyone else experience this?

Perhaps those apps are marked for battery optimization. Go to settings/additional settings/privacy/special app access/battery optimization.
switch from "not optimized" to "all apps". Find the apps on that list and turn off the optimization

This text to speech is always very annoying. It never works. I set it to my volume button shortcut, popup shows that it's been activated, i highlight a text and nothing happens

UC turbo is the best browser.
It's very fast, and it compresses web pages for slow networks.

Uc like how. Maybe for downloads it is good but as a complete browser, it's generally buggy.

If a browser doesn't have good crossplatform sync it's a no no for me anyway

My experience with it, it hangs unlike many others.
I quickly uninstalled it soon after giving it a try. Comments by other users also reflect same.

I use Firefox on my ipad, pc and android...
I'm not a longtime fan or anything, infact opera was my preferred choice for a long time but i gave it another try and... Well...

Not actually saying its better than chrome but i enjoy getting out from under google a bit, every chance i get.
That's why i use duckduckgo or bing instead of Google search and that's also why i am so looking forward to Huawei's os
