While I was in secondary school, i had my passion aligned to complex subjects, i used to like them because require logical inputs and brain power some of which could physics, mathematics, further_maths, etc. Not that I'm not good at the other subjects, I usually find them too cheap for my attention (wink). Lo and be hold, I'm currently studying biology n the tertiary institustion, something I never saw coming. I may be studying biology in good faith, but I can't imagine myself studying chemistry, astronomy, history etc. I spoke to few friends of mine about studying a subject that you have little or no interest in, their response was very similar (as I expected), "they'll never study a course that they're not interested in". Taking into consideration that our educational system is something else, ie it doesn't always favour our demand, people often accept the various courses they're being offered to study. Its pretty worrisome that after getting done with WAEC/NECO, passing JAMB, sitting for post UTME and then it's either accepting what the university offers or wait for another year. At this point, lots of people use to loose their track as their ambition is about to get shattered. That's my part. A friend of mine was ever offered political science but he rejected it notifying me that he rather end up without a bachelor's degree than to acquire one in political science, Intl relations, agronomy etc. Your turn, -What is that course that you can NEVER taste? -Are you studying your dream course? ***someone should please help and mention the mods, I don't know how to*** http://www.karatublog.tk/2018/02/are-you-studying-your-dream-course.html |
Photos of the museum or you pack your load and go. |
yomibelle:Eat your pillow na. |
jericco1:You know, we bloggers write at any cost, irrespective of the accuracy of the info. |
DBright123:I'm happy you find it helpful. |
jericco1:Exactly. We're all spectators of other courses and as a result, we think Nutritionists are thought to cook while political scientists are groomed to be political leaders. I don't know how op defines under ratio, cos all the courses he mentioned are highly competitive in my university. |

The 21st century is tagged the digital century. In this century, we're more digital than physically tangible. Our daily activities are revolving around the internet and other digital technologies. Businesses, education, faiths, governance and technologies are leading the revolution. As students, we're not left behind as we're the main focus of tomorrow. As a result of the digital revolution, I compiled a list of 12 android apps that students should at least have have to make their learning more easier, enjoyable and more efficient. 1-Quora - How cool will it be to ask complex questions and get them answered by experts around the world? Well quora is here for that. All you need to do is download the app, register, ask your questions and get them answered in the mean time. And yes quora absolutely free to use. With quora, you may also offer to answer questions that you are expertised on. 2-RealCalc - Scientific calculator costs quite a fortune yeah. RealCalc is a scientifically programmed calculator packaged into an app. You don't have to panic anymore for leaving your scientific calculator in the hostel as RealCalc does the job. 3-CamScanner - Like myself that prefer to listen to the lecture than to listen and jotte simultaneously, this app is ours. It uses the phones rear camera to scan a hard copy of a document and instantly convert it into a clear PDF file. Pretty cool huh? That CamScanner, go get yours. 4-PronounceIT - This app pronounce a word/phrase or sentence correctly on more than 20 languages. Enter your word or sentence and get it pronounced correctly and instantly. Its that easy. 5-Canomapp - With this app, you may refuse to listen or jotte the lecture, it'll do the job. Canomapp records audio in a high quality format. It gives room for Editting the prerecorded notes. Get your seat on the front row, start your initiate your canomapp and sleep off( assuming your lecturer won't mind). 6-Lock me out - As the name implies, the app locks you out of your phone for a the time you choose. It does so by changing your device's pin or password and only changes it to the correct code after the capped time elapse. The first time I used the app I was freaked out but it works so well. It's very helpful as it stop me from accessing my fancy games till the time frame I chose elapse. Go and give it a try. 7-Forest - Just like lock-me-out it stops you from accessing your phone. But unlike lock-me-out, it doesn't change your code. This app let you plant a seed and let it grow into a tree in 30 minutes. Exiting the app or minimizing it will kill you pretty, innocent, little plan ( something you won't prefer). To access your phone, you'll have to wait for baby plant to grow into a tree within the 30 minutes. This growth time is a perfect time to focus on that handout, in fact finish it off. Try it, it cool. 8-Duolingo - This app teaches you global languages from a newbie to a pro. Perfect for students of history and international relationship studie. People willing to travel to their dream country can use this app as it's handy, easy to operate and cost free. 9-PDF readers - There are collections of android PDF readers out there. Get the one that suite your demand and dig in to the world of hard-copy- free life. 10-WhatsApp - I bet you have this app. Convert it Into a tutorial group buy creating a group and adding your study mates into it. You can share PDFs, send voice notes etc. A WhatsApp group accommodates up to 256 people. 11-Google Drive - This app saves your documents in the cloud storage ( internet storage). You can access your files wherever, whenever. 12-KhamAcademy - Do you learn more by listening to the lecturer and seeing him/her demonstrate example on board? Yes? Then this app is yours. If has videos in wide range of programs( if not all programs). Just install the app, register, search for you topic and stream the video all at the comfort of your home and free of charge. Note: this list is exhaustible, it is a result of my little survey, research and personal reviews. Feel free to add those that I omit. Which app will you likely remove from the list? Which app will you proudly add to the list? https://www.karatublog.tk/2018/02/12-killer-android-apps-all-students.html |
