While the core of the OP's write-up is very true, it is also myopic when it comes to the bigger picture of islam.

Yes, the terrorism label that is put on many muslims is very unfair. That is discrimination.

However, islam's problems go beyond being unfairly called terrorists. There are many issues plaguing islam in the modern world that make many non-muslims to see islam as a backwards religion at times.

1. Underage marriage
2. Discrimination against atheists
3. Discrimination against LGBT
4. Failing women's rights (eg equal representation in mosques and govt)


1. Many muslims believe that a woman can get married from the onset of puberty. This has led to many underage marriages. This can be seen on Northern Nigeria. Saudi Arabia recently had to ammend their laws in 2019 to ban underage marriage- before then, a 60 year old man could marry a 14 year old girl in Saudi. The good news is that many muslims disagree with this puberty ruling and want the age of consent to be 18 years.

Many of the intelligent muslims have left the islamic section.

Is it Empiree that supports underage marriage and that doesnt understand "consent", that will now create intelligent threads?

1. The islam section is dead, both in quality and quantity. We can all see how many muslim posters have left. The section is now a shell of its former glory.
2. Maclatunji was a heavy-handed mod. You do not even have to believe me. There are countless non-muslims that dislike his methods. Even the original two moderators of the main religion section disliked him- Jesoul and Manmustwacc. You banned non muslims so much that the islam section was once banned from the front page in retaliation. On the other hand, Deols was liked- she was the other muslim mod. Compare and contrast.

Vedaxcool/Stalwert will never challenge these two facts. But he will call me a liar because he is a fanatic muslim that cannot accept that he is wrong. I will never stoop so low to insult other people's families/parents like he is doing.

You were banned years ago but still live the agony of it every waking moment and you think insanity should not be your name?
