komia: Japan unlike many other western countries is hard to survive without proper and legal visa status. As an island They lack land borders. Few foreigners and negligible people like you. Honestly you stand out. No employer will take you without legitimate papers. Due to police officers being idle, I can bet my head you will not go far. Language too. Please don’t ever think of illegally entering the country especially being a black Nigerian. The best way is get a school including language school (2 years). Be admitted. While in school get a Japanese lady , marry and get spouse visa. Trust me If you are focused, hardworker, polite while avoiding quick money schemes mentality associated with Nigerians, you will be having permanent residency in 3-4 years or nationality within 5 years. A Nigerian woman options are limited. They can hardly get a partner to marry them- sorry but I have to share the truth gathered over 16 years here. please any assurance of visa with rugby fan I'd tickets to watch rugby world cup. and any interview or biometrics at embassy ? thinking if I can as well submit for my t.sister |

Travel › Re: How To Send WAEC Results To WES by Abekebabe: 11:32pm On Aug 25, 2019 |
cherries1: For your information, WES is not the only ECA evaluation organization designated by CIC. There are 5 of them and WES is the only organization requesting for secondary education evaluation from University graduates. If you are just seeking the evaluation for immigration purposes only, then you don't have to use WES for your evaluation. do you mean one does not need to use Wes evaluation even if for Canada PR? |

fatima04: Like I said before Naric is for immigration purposes only and you can use it if requested by employers. But to register to become a nurse, doctor, dentist etc in the UK, you need IELTS academic Thanks sis |
Travel › Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Abekebabe: 8:09pm On Aug 24, 2019 |
Luchiano54: She must write IELTS ACADEMIC preferably IELTS for UKVI which is 97k. This is to avoid writing it a second time if she meets up with the required band scores(LRWS- 7,7,6.5,7 for NMC registration and band score 4 for visa). I'm a nurse waiting for my DL U mean she can't use UK Naric instead of this IELTS , because when I checked the website there is a link for academic and another for those going to work UK. In fact , due to my recent check on this group,I have argued seriously that she doesn't need it . ok , please who are those that can use UK Naric conversation, ? please |
Travel › Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Abekebabe: 3:02pm On Aug 24, 2019 |
fatima04: NARIC is used in place of IELTS UKVi during Visa application while IELTS academic is required for GMC or NMC registration.
For GMC registration you can decide to write Ielts UKVI so that you can use the result for both registration and visa application when the time comes. People dont do this because IELTS UKVI is 95k and if you are not able to meet the required score then owo jona .
That said, are you a nurse or doctor? To know how to advise further Thanks , my sis is a nurse and have informed her about this. please are you saying, they must do IELTS Academic or can use UK NARIC to rep the language test? please I need clear pics on this , cos I argued with her , she doesn't need it . |
Travel › Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Abekebabe: 12:38pm On Aug 24, 2019 |
fatima04: Yes, for nurses they need to write IELTS academic and achieve the desired score and then proceed to write CBT,afterwards apply for jobs and once you are successful at the interview stage you can get COS.
For doctors, you need IELTS academic, PLAB1 and PLAB2, interview, and COS Thank you boss,do you mean they can't use UK Naric that most people are claiming to have been used. they must do IELTS test? |

fatima04: For UK, try the Tier 1exceptional or promising talent route because getting a sponsor when you are not in the medical line can be tough (it's even tough for doctors right now).
Also, check out Canada or Australia PR system. Thanks for your response , please for those medical doctors and nurses. is there any professional exam that they need to do before apply for UK CoS? |
Travel › Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Abekebabe: 9:51pm On Aug 23, 2019 |
fatima04: CBT can be done in Nigeria at one of the pearson centres, but you need to write IELTS first and get that minimum score stated above. Once you write CBT ypu cam get an employer to sponsor your visa and OSCE This IELTS test isn't compulsory again , just go to UK Naric website and pay some fees to validate that ur program was taught in English . the full information is on the website sha . most ppl have been using dt instead of IELTS |

dustydee: Aunty Rubyventures abeg no vex. First you get a job then your employer will issue you a CoS. You pay the surcharge per applicant per multiplied by the number of years of the visa. Depending on your field, there are many places to apply for jobs including the popular job boards. Thanks so much for your response . please can you give examples of site to search for job? |

Travel › Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Abekebabe: 10:21pm On Aug 20, 2019 |
Lolipopp: Yes, it is possible to apply at the same time. Good enough you have an A rated sponsor so that makes things easier. Now let me answer as someone who got a Tier 2 and applied for dependants after getting here.
1. If you choose to apply at the same time you may find it difficult getting an accomodation from overseas here in the UK ( you may speak with your employer if they will be willing to help) as you will have to pay both rent and sometimes some deposit or even get a guarantor to be able to rent. All of these is usually stressful for a new migrant hence the reason a lot of tier 2 holders prefer to come in first and then bring in dependants later. 2. The better news is, yes CoS is valid only for 3 months but it doesn't stop you from bringing in your dependants after it has expired. Your A rated sponsor only needs to supply you a maintenance letter stating the following details according to home office - printed on official letter head - Full name, CoS number, Passport number of principal applicant - Full name, Passport Number, Date of birth of each dependant The letter must also state that your employer is happy to provide up to £630 for initial one month of your dependant (s) coming into the UK likewise a cover for their accomodation. Note, with this letter in hand you don't need further proof of funds. (Countless number of people have done this seamlessly) 3. In the event your employer isn't happy to provide you with this letter only then will you have to show proof of funds to the tune of £930 per dependant
If you require further clarity just check out PBS dependant policy on home office website. I hope this helps. please how will one apply tier 2 CoS. How to get sponsor fast? |
