budaatum:Ha! At Victoria, the bus driver, an elderly man, told us we can't pay cash, only ticket, card or contactless. We opted for contactless, he said we can't use contactless to pay for 2. DH said I go first with the first contactless payment, he'll wait and come with the next bus. Bus arrives every 3-4 minutes! The elderly man scratched his head, and in his mind, he was like 'no be me go put asunder for this lovely black couple'. He then told DH to pay contactless, and he generated a ticket for me, then ask us to wait for the next bus. So I showed my ticket to the next bus driver, while DH paid contactless again for himself. Viola! Double decker bus, we sat on the upper deck. There's a red stop button on the rails that you press if you want to alight at a bus stop. So the driver can wait a little while for you to come down If I can remember correctly, Victoria to Euston was about £3 for both of us. |
