acevic: Please I need good and affordable flight to London or Birmingham.
And also things to carry.
First time traveller When are you travelling? Am going to Coventry via Birmingham in a week or 2.. Emirates in my research has the lowest price for one way. You can get a flight with 2hrs layover. We can travel together if u like, send me a mail |

OmoBendel24: Not an issue.... But @the bolded may not exactly be correct, especially if the previous passport already got expired before you went about the renewal process, my wife did hers in Asaba previous year without us breaking a sweat, and even at almost the going rate at the time. Well, I won’t be surprised to hear too that NIS has reverted to the Abuja approach on this anyways.... You are correct. I renewed mine in my town in April. At the going rate. Only took a week |

I instead to travel to d UK am a student my cousin instead to sponsor me, she send d invitation letter, payslips, etc expect her statement of account Go to the UK student thread. Although it has been repeated countless times that nobody can sponsor an education except one's parents or self. You can ask your cousin to transfer the money to your account or your parents. Except you want to dash UK govt money |

prettysussie: But will you still go with the documents for sighting by the TLS officials? No. Once you've scanned, uploaded, previewed and submitted your documents at home. You are done. TLS is only for biometric and passport drop off |

Scanned and uploaded. TLS will not collect anything from you except your passport. That is if you are doing self upload. mekaboy: Is bank statement also scanned and uploaded or submitted in hard copy? |

chukyrooy: Good Day Everybody,
Please would be renewing my uk visa soon with a mid June intended date of travel. This would be my fifth renewal but would like to ask some questions, because each application must be treated carefully.
1. I would like to print a 4 months statement(just to show my salary) as opposed to 6 months, because of certain deposits prior, would it fly? I can sponsor myself as i have over 1m in the account and I am not spending up to 2 months of my disposable income. However, I am a director of the family business and that is the account I always use as the sponsors account, i would be printing 6 months of that one. Hope it is okay.
2. I heard that TB test should be included, pls how does the TB test work, can i get it from any hospital or only government approved. I think TB is required for people who intend to stay above 6 months. Not for tourist. And it's always done at a pre approved medical center. In Nigeria, it's done at IOM in Lagos or Abuja. |

emadamysy: please if you upload docs using self service , do you still need to go along with it during biometrics ? No. Just go along with the list showing your docs have been accepted and your TLS confirmation of appointment email and passport. |
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Abini2012: 9:41am On Apr 14, 2019 |
You'll have to upload your docs according to the relevant segment they fall into... If u click on each segment, it will show the type of docs expected. Any other doc that does not fall into the given segments should be uploaded under 'Other'. Also, you'll have a chance to preview before submitting once they've converted it to their format bbclue: Hello Good morning
Please this is how my own is..will I separate the scanning into segments..e.g family evidence and financial information separately or how |

prettysussie: Hello house, Has anyone uploaded supporting documents under the self service option? Is it advisable to merge similar documents? For example, 6 months payslips can be merged into a single document for upload. Yes. And upload under Financial Evidence... Once uploaded and accepted, it will indicate the number of pages. Something like this....

Thanks Steel101, I was able to book for friday 10am premium lounge Abuja. steel101: Flexi deals with flexible appointment booking if you are applying as a a group or family while prime time deals with early appointment, say 8.00am. I am not really sure of the one that enables you walk in anytime but the Flexi has that capacity if you're going in as a group. |

Pls what's the difference between the Flexi or prime time? What if I have date for next week, which one will enable me walk in anytime before the appointment? steel101: You will have to make the payment for either the prime or flex at their office on appointment date before biometrics. |

It's not compulsory that you travelled with the kids. I know a family that the wife went to meet her husband on Tier 4. She left her 2kids with her parents. Shawtykel: Happy Valentine to this wonderful family..
Please I have an issue that's bothering me and I'll need an advice whether to go ahead or not. My husband is in UK on a tier 4 visa, we have three kids. He wants me to come over asap to support him since I'll be working full time as his is limited.
The issue now is we don't have the finances to apply for me and my three kids together.. Can I apply alone and come back to pick my kids after we've been able to save up hopefully in three months? Are there implications to this of not taking my kids @ the moment? What possible best reasons do I have to give for not taking my kids along? (my mum lives us so they're used to her and mother in law is also ready to join her) Any case like mine ever? Just wondering
P.S my kids are 4years and 2years old twins @Justwise @Zoey and everyone who can help Thank you |

Hi Mimilyrics, Justwise and other gurus,
I intend to process my Tier 4 dependant visa. My problem is this: My husband said when filling his application he wrote my name attaching his own when officially I've not changed my name to effect this yet. Will this cause a problem? Bearing in mind that I'll be attaching our marriage certificate which shows my maiden name? Thanks guys as you respond |

Uglyduckling: It’s not a visit visa, you are moving to join your husband so it doesn’t even matter if you resign. Your using maiden name doesn’t matter. As long as you can prove genuine relationship( marriage certificate, pictures, communication proof etc). I still bear my maiden name and was a dependent on my husband’s visa. Please can you list docs I might required to present? Marriage certificate, pictures, communication proof, CAS, Hubby bank statement, his data page. Will they need my salary, payslip, appointment letter etc? |

I greet the house o
Please gurus make una help me My husband is on a Tier 4 visa which will expire by January 2020 and I want to apply for defendant visa to join him towards May next year.. I work with my State Govt, my problem is wont the ECO frown at why I'll be leaving work for up to 6 months to be with my husband? Will they accept a written leave of absence letter from my HOD or Perm Sec? Or should I leave out the fact that I am working? Also, I am yet to change my name to reflect my marital name, will this pose a problem bearing in mind that my passport is bearing my maiden name? My marriage certificate and pictures will be attached at application.
Please help una sister with your candid advice.. I want to start planning early and meticulously
Thanks @justwise @ekpotek @frontpagelawyer and other gurus |
