Hello,

No you don't need to upload the refusal documents
The same applies to the UK visa, declaring and putting comments/additional information where required is sufficient

Cheers
Thank you ma’am. God bless you

Hello @duchess, good evening.
Please I have a question to ask you.
For someone with a past refusal to another country, after declaring it during the visa application, do you also need to upload the refusal document? Also, as someone with a past UK visa but it’s on an expired passport, after declaring, do you upload the old passport as well?
Thank you ma’am.

Hello

I think study gap documents might be for more than 5 years gap.

My opinion is apply as usual and just prepare additional documents incase it is requested, for instance NYSC covers 2019, and a reference letter from your aunt's company plus your CV can be a second document for 2020 till date.

I don't know if you were paid full time or you just volunteered to work with your aunty and was given a little upkeep, both scenarios are okay.

Hope it helps

Cheers
Thank you for your response ma’am.

Should I include my nysc certificate in my visa application as well or wait until it’s requested and then upload both nysc certificate and reference letter?
Sadly, I’m not paid full time, it’s more of a volunteer work and occasionally I get compensated but not on regular basis.
Also, the company is on my CV from late 2019-Date. Do I upload my CV as well or just wait? I’m sorry for all these questions ma’am. Just trying to put forward an airtight application. Thank you ma’am.

Hello @duchesss, Good morning ma’am.

Please I have a question to ask you, I hope you can answer me. Thank you.

I’m about to apply for my visa and I’m not sure of the right documents.
I finished my undergrad 2018 and completed nysc 2019. I haven’t been in stable employment since then, I’ve been working with my aunt. So my question is: do I need to include an employment reference in my visa application or there’s no need? I’ve been seeing posts about study gap, so I’m curious. Thank you ma’am.

Hello, can anyone going to university of hull september 2022 who has paid tuition deposit of 2k kindly give me a few info?

I am filling the form A, flywire gave a remittance/Reference number that needs to be included in the transfer. I can't seem to find any where on the form A to include this reference number. It starts with UHS.... if you have successfully finished this stage kindly let me know how you did your. Thanks.
Hello,
You can add it where you write your name. So after your name, open a bracket, write the reference number and close bracket. That’s what I did. You can wait to get other opinions.

She doesn't need a transit visa as long as she is not going to leave the airport while she is in the UK , and she will leave UK for Canada same day. You can click on the link below to answer a few questions to help understand further.

Hi, sorry I’m back again. Please she did the biometrics in Abuja for her last visit visa which was approved. Do I need to pay a new transmission fee or I only pay to DHL for their services?
Help please? Anyone? Do I pay the transmission fee since she’s been approved in the past and passport was sent? Or I just go ahead and send with the other documents? Please anyone with information should help.

Hi guys, good morning. God bless all of you for your contribution to the thread. Please I have a question. I applied for visiting visa for my mom last month and she just got her ppr this midnight. Please how do I go about sending her passport? She did her biometrics in Abuja in 2018, so I can’t find the slip. Please help as she needs to travel urgently. Thank you everyone.

Ketima:
Since your using a sponsor,

1) yes you need to submit the sponsors SOA as well. This will help to explain the lump sum in your account, and as well help clear the VO on where the fund came from and for what purpose. Also a good sponsorship Letter will help as well.

2). You don't need to wait till 4 months. As stated above in (1), since is money sent to you by sposnor for your Education, you don't need the fund to stay up to 4 months.

Generally, lumpsums isn't bad. Is it only bad ad a red flag when source of it wasn't explained and not backed up with solid paperwork proof.
Thank you so much @Ketima. God bless you.

Good evening house. Please I have a few questions to ask.
1- If I’m being sponsored and my sponsor puts the funds in my account. Do I still need to submit my sponsor’s SOA?

2- Do I need to wait for the funds to sit in my account for 4 months before printing my SOA to use for application? Or I can print after and attach a Letter of explanation.

Thank you.

Hello Abiola

The Visa Officer has not been convinced that the funds you presented will be used for your studies and living expenses in Canada.. Like I always say, it's one thing to have all the Millions in your account, it's another thing to convince the Visa Officer that the millions will be made available for your studies and living expenses all through your stay in Canada..

As regards the lump sum, you must explain in detail the reason for the lump sum, let the Visa Officer know the reason why the said amount was deposited in your SOA... You must do justice in your LOE in your re-application with the relevant documents to back up your claims...

Peace
Thank you so much @makano. I will work on it and re-apply. God bless you.

Hello Abiola

Are these reasons from your GCMS notes or they are just mere assumptions?

Your LOE, backed up with the relevant documents should do the Magic for you in your re-application. Its not by saying your Dad is truly your sponsor, it's by convincing the Visa Officer of the total commitment of your sponsor by taking the necessary actions and submitting the relevant documents to back up his claim in his Letter of sponsorship and also your LOE..

If you haven't gotten your GCMS notes, I will advise you do so.. That will lead you on how to get your Visa in your next application..

Peace
Hi @makano God bless you for your response.
Here’s me gcms notes attached below. Please advice me on how to go about the reapplication.

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by AbiolaSYA: 8:44pm On Dec 20, 2021
Hi guys, second time applicant here. In my first application, my dad was my sponsor and I used his account statements. I was rejected due to lumpsum deposits and possible demonstration of funds. Please I want to reapply and I don’t know how to tackle these reasons because my dad is genuinely my sponsor. I’m also considering telling him to transfer the money into my own account? Please I need help.

Hi Ketima, so regarding the lump sum, I used my dads savings account for pof and I submitted 6 months statement. The start of the statement had a lump sum cause he sold shares but the balance was still more than what I needed, that’s why I wasn’t concerned. Please what can I do when reapplying? Should I ask him to send the money to my own account instead? Please I need your guidance
