NPC Attestation along with a Sworn Affidavit by a Federal High Court should suffice. The documents should contain basic info such as your full names, your date of birth, place of birth, state of origin, parents full names, etc.

You however said the court affidavit you got was from a Magistrate Court. I don't think they accept Magistrate Court documents. I think it's safer to go with an affidavit from a Fedral High Court.

I honestly don't know how to get an earlier date. Some say they cancel and then monitor the site for any random early date that might pop up. Some monitor by using the check4change app. But it's too risky because you might not get any date after canceling and that means you'll lose the October 31 date you had gotten earlier.

My advice is that you work with the date given. Don't rush as it could be dangerous.

@abisolaarshow you'll need the interview confirmation printout and the email from NVC (it should have your casenumber as they will need it). You don't need the letter from Embassy.

@abisolaarshow, now that it says READY, you should do a mail to the US Embassy (LagosIV@state.gov) and ask for update on your casefile so you can schedule your appointment. You'll have to provide info such full names, date of birth, case number, phone numbers, passport number. They will respond in a weeks time. Some people wait till they get a go ahead from the US Embassy before scheduling while others just go ahead to schedule after getting the READY message on the tracking site. Whichever is fine.

Since you want to get the interview this month, you can go ahead and schedule after making the necessary payments and filling the form. Notw however that you must choose a date 3 weeks from now so that you can do your medicals. This is because Medical report takes a minimum of 2 weeks for it to be out and you can't go for your visa interview without it.

No it's not a mistake. K1 visa has both immigrant and non-immigrant features. It starts off as non-immigrant and ends as immigrant visa during processing. Its confusing to me sometimes but its fine.

Regarding Payment, just go to GTBank and tell them you are paying for K Visa.

Yeah, the NVC schedules interview for those who are doing Spousal Visa or Family Based Visa. But Fiancee Visa is not scheduled by NVC but by the applicant using the ustraveldoc portal at the appropriate time. Once the tracking site says READY you can go ahead and make payments, fill the DS160 form and schedule an appointment. Also send an email to the Embassy informing them of your case so they can confirm receipt of your casefile and send you the Packet.

Go to a photographer and tell them you want a U.S Visa passport and you want it to be whatsapp to your phone, you should be able to upload it in that format.
The person accompanying you will be turn back, it's only done for children and senior citizens.
