Let due process be followed in all!!! |
Please the pilot newspapers give us names if what you are saying is true!!! Let us stop all these unnecessary rumour mills!!! |
If we read the scriptures very well, you discover the preacher said ...two are better than one and a three fold cord is not easily broken, that is to buttress the fact of what Almighty Jehovah said in Genesis that it is not good for man to be alone. Man in these context means either male or female. Jesus also confirm this position in Mathew 19:4 when he said 'and He answered and said unto them, have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female' emphasizing marriage in vs 5. Nevertheless, in Mathew 19:12 he states clearly for the spiritual assignment of ones purpose on earth, the person involved may be created single or decide to remain single. Jesus, John the baptist and Apostle Paul where all single because of their assignment here on earth. |

$757 Million USD transferred in error? Amaechi should be cooling his heels in KIRIKIRI PRISONS with all sincerity. I know the long hand of the law will catch up with him. I believe PMB is only waiting for the right and appriopriate time with all concrete evidence to pull the strings, with his investigation ongoing at the ICPC. |
I personally have no doubt about the person of Oshiomole, seeing what he is doing in the ancient city of Benin. His term as Nigeria's labour leader showed remarkable courage in fighting bad government policies and made labour unionism vibrant and active and the same norm he has reflected in criticizing the GEJ administration's financial books passed over to the current government. The truth be told, the corruption sleaze in the previous administration was way out of it and there is no way anyone in there position today wont cry out. |
We as a people have never risen against our corrupt leaders in APC,PDP & the civil service, swindling our common wealth. Rather we vent our anger on commoners who in there sheer fustration and lack of enlightenment steal to satisfy their hunger. People who should be stoned, bruised and battered are the IBB's, Abdulsalam's, OBJ's, GEJ's, most of the current and former governor's and NASS menbers. |
By Ikechukwu Nnochiri ABUJA – The Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, sitting in Abuja has ordered the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Mr. Solomon Arase and other relevant security agencies in the country to arrest the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki. In a ruling this afternoon, the tribunal headed by Justice Danladi Umar issued a bench warrant against Saraki following his refusal to appear in court to face a 13-count criminal charge that was preferred against him by the Federal Ministry of Justice. Bukola Saraki Bukola Saraki FG had through a deputy director in the office of the Attorney General of the Federation, Mr. M.S. Hassan, asked the tribunal to order Saraki’s arrest. Saraki who was billed for arraignment this morning, sent his team of lawyers to serve the tribunal with a copy of the ruling of Justice Ahmed Mohammed of the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court, yesterday, which summoned the Ministry of Justice to appear on Monday to show cause why the trial should be allowed to proceed. Equally summoned by the court were the Chairman of the tribunal, Justice Danladi Umar and that of the Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB, Mr. Sam Saba, as well as Mr. Hassan who signed the charge against Saraki. Meanwhile, irked by Saraki’s absence at the tribunal for the commencement of his prosecution over alleged false declaration of assets, the Ministry of Justice prayed the Justice Umar-led panel to order for his arrest, saying “he cannot sit in the comfort of his chamber and object to his trial in absentia”. The prosecution further maintained that Justice Mohammed lacked the powers to summon the CCT and CCB chairmen, even as it accused Saraki of engaging in “forum shopping” in a desperate bid to scuttle his trial. Meanwhile, Saraki has through his lawyer, begged the tribunal to consider his position as the Senate President and stay the execution of the arrest warrant, saying he would be available for trial on Monday. His plea was refused by Justice Umar who maintained that the accused person, having sworn to protect the constitution, ought to have shown respect to the tribunal by appearing before it today. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/09/breaking-news-court-orders-sarakis-arrest/ |
God help this country.....today is missing Bauchi plane found in Morroco, yesterday it was the Lagos state floatel that got missing at marina but sighted in UK? If all of these could go missing, you could imagine the level of corruption and fraud in the system. |
It is just an imagination, perhaps happened rarely for some personal reasons to some persons, it is never generic thing. |
Ok |
Tomorrow some fools will come to question the source of the pastor's wealth, but while he is fasting and praying for the release of the healing power, nobody will know about that and will also question the source of their power for working the miraculous. May the name of Jehovah be praised!!! |
The problem with theft in Nigeria is not about the systems in place but about the persons operating the systems. |
Every anointing that is not understood is usually criticized. In the time of Martin Luther King, he was even assassinated for the principles of the Bible he stood for. Whoever is on top becomes a topic!!! |
Jehovah, the God of testimony...may your name be praised. |
End time things!!! Dont think it will get better.... |
Good one but I hope Boko haram will not retake it? |
Good acknowledgement |
If Amaechi's hands are clean, he should support a clean probe of his administration!!! |
He was obviously clueless!!! |
You well so? |
Whatever was the grouse of Orubebe, he never acted like a federal minister and above all an elder he was. It goes to show he was never honourable. It is obvious he no better than an ordinary tout on the streets of Lagos!!! |
This will not be far from the truth. Nigerians could be wasteful with airtime and do not implement personal budgets stringently. It is a call for everyone to actually track what they spend on there telephone bills each month and see how wasteful most of such calls are. |
ECA: FAAC faults Okonjo-Iweala, denies approving $2bn withdrawal JULY 8, 2015 : IFEANYI ONUBA 76 Comments Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala The Federation Account Allocation Committee on Tuesday faulted comments credited to a former Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, that it approved the withdrawal of $2bn from the Excess Crude Account. The committee, in a statement issued on its behalf by Forum of Finance Commissioners in Abuja, stated that the law setting it up did not give it the power to approve withdrawals from the ECA. Okonjo-Iweala had while responding to allegations made by state governors that she made withdrawals from the ECA without authorisation, said issues relating to expenditure were usually discussed at FAAC meetings attended by finance commissioners of the 36 states of the federation. She had said through a statement issued by her spokesperson, Paul Nwabuikwu, “The allegation by some governors that former Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, spent $2.1bn out of the Excess Crude Account ‘without authorisation’ is false, malicious and totally without foundation. “It is curious that in their desperation to use the esteemed National Economic Council for political and personal vendetta, the persons behind these allegations acted as if the constitutionally recognised FAAC, a potent expression of Nigeria’s fiscal federalism, does not exist. “But Nigerians know that collective revenues, allocations and expenditures of the three tiers of government are the concern of the monthly FAAC meetings.” But reacting to the ex-minister’s comments, the committee said in its statement that Okonjo-Iweala’s expalnation “is far from the fact and is misleading.” It said, “It has come to our notice the statement credited to the former Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo- Iweala, that the Federation Account Allocation Committee approved the withdrawal from Excess Crude (Foreign) Account the sum of $2bn. This statement is far from the fact and is misleading. “We wish to state unequivocally that FAAC does not have the authority to approve withdrawals from the ECA and, therefore, could not have approved the withdrawal from the Excess Crude (Foreign) Account the sum of $2bn. “According to the law setting up FAAC, which pre-dates the ECA, it cannot approve withdrawal and has not done so in the past. “If anything, FAAC, as records of its meetings indicate, had often queried the activities on the ECA, and, therefore, did not decide any withdrawal.” The statement noted that while FAAC had in December 2014 observed the withdrawal of $2bn from the ECA, the then Minister of State for Finance and Chairman of FAAC, Bashir Yuguda, had when asked during the plenary of FAAC meetings of the respective months explained that former President Goodluck Jonathan gave approval for the withdrawals to pay oil marketers’ subsidy claims. Yuguda reportedly stated that the action would be ratified by NEC. FAAC stated in the statement, “It should be noted, therefore, that FAAC did not and could not have approved nor taken the decision to withdraw the sum of $2bn from the ECA. “We would want to excuse Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala on this misrepresentation because she was not in attendance during FAAC plenary and may not have been fully and adequately made abreast of every FAAC activity.” But Okonjo-Iweala, while reacting to the finance commissioners’ statement on Tuesday, said the approval for the withdrawal of the funds was given by former President Goodluck Jonathan. She said in a statement by Nwabuikwu, “Payments made were used for petroleum subsidies for the Nigerian people and were approved by Mr. President. Therefore, there is no question of mismanaging any resources here. “For the avoidance of doubt, at no time did Dr. Okonjo- Iweala say that FAAC approved such expenditures. What she said was that all these expenditures were discussed at FAAC meetings attended by finance commissioners from the 36 states. “It is, therefore, clear that there was no misrepresentation by Dr. Okonjo-Iweala. “The question before us is: why is there such an excessive attempt to batter her name in an attempt to damage her reputation? It is clear, as I said in my previous statement, that the motive is malicious and very political, and, therefore, will not succeed. “If monies were used to pay for subsidies for the Nigerian people and duly approved, why is Okonjo- Iweala’s name being battered in this way? This persecution should stop.” www.punchng.com/news/eca-faac-faults-okonjo-iweala-denies-approving-2bn-withdrawal/ |
chuna1985:Can't you see that it was the faith of the woman who brought her child all the way from Kano that activated the miracle? Miracles happen and miracles do happen in most of the crusades of Apostle Johnson suleman. I'm not saying this for you to believe, I'm only saying this because the power of God is real and it is at work in the life of God's servant anywhere he goes, Europe, Africa, Middle East, USA etc. The Bible clearly showed that the Sadduces' and the Pharisees in their time never believed the power of God and said the healings where the power of Belzebub. I pray that eyes will be open to the truth by the power of His revelation. |
Copee:@Copee, I was very much at the Lagos program, the man was dead in the, his brother and sister came with the pictures and as Apostle said the annoiting present in the meeting could raise the dead, the dead man's brother dashed down to Apt Johnon Suleman with his picture, the protocols tried to stop him but Apostle asked them to leave him, the sister also joined, and he took the picture and prayed and called back the life of the man. Towards the close of the meeting, the hall went agog as the testimony came of the man jerking back to life. |
@Op, Let me correct an impression, Apostle Johnson Suleman as a man did not, and cannot raise the dead, the ALMIGHTY GOD did, even Apostle Johnson Suleman will tell you that. I watched the program live on CELEBRATION TV, it is no rumour, the raising of the dead happened on the first day of the program, a certain woman (CHIGOZIE) whose child passed on and was CERTIFIED DEAD at the hospital in Kano, took her dead child and went to the OFM branch pastor at Kano for prayers but after much prayers nothing happened and when the woman heard of the LOKOJA INVASION CRUSADE, she made up her mind to bring the child that IF ONLY SHE CAN JUST SET HER EYES ON THE MAN OF GOD THE CHILD WILL COME BACK TO LIFE. The pastor in Kano even discouraged her because of the cost and stress but she refused and made her way, when she got to the venue, the first day's morning session was over and she waited for the evening session. In course of the evening meeting while prayers where made and prophetic declarations where decreed, the child came back to life to the amazement of all. Even the dead certificate given to them at the hospital was tendered, her people who came with her all the way from Kano were all rejoicing, the whole venue went agog, it was a frenzy and the pastor who discouraged the woman was amazed and confirmed all that happened in Kano. All the GLORY TO JEHOVAH. |
The former Benue state governor Gabriel Suswam has been arrested by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom for allegedly battering his wife. After his arrest, the Metropolitan Police Domestic Violence Office immediately booked him into its London detention centre, where he was to remain in detention. The resident judge at the time however set a £5,000 (N1.5 m) bail bound for him before he was released. He got arrested when his wife, Yemisi placed an emergency call to the police from their house in London to report that the ex-governor had physically assaulted her. She explained to the police that during a minor argument in which she confronted her husband’s questionable relationship with possible mistress ‘Shidoo’, Suswam battered her and thus made her to run for her life. If they are found wanting, let the law take its full course!!! |
If true, there is more to it than meets the ordinary eyes. |
