Career / Re: Remote Jobs In USA by AbooTasleemah1(m): 3:20pm On Apr 20
Remote jobs will soon be out of phase. The advent of remote jobs was fueled by the Corona pandemic which has been defeated. Most employers are now searching for on-site staff unlike remote workers because they felt remote workers are less productive. Elon Musk also fueled the dogma recently. Remote works are heavily dropping. Focus on on-site/physical job in your location or searches if you are considering relocation to a neighboring state or country

This work was started since Akala tenure

Exactly. The late Akala and GEJ wore matching aso ebi to to celebrate the governor's birthday and commission this same road. Back then, the contractor only paved the road and laid asphalt on a few kilometers. The late Ajimobi also did his part by extending the road to Kuola and a portion of the Akinigahin axis.
However, GSM did the finishing, kudos to him. He rehabilitated the road and extended to Owode to cover the proposed kilometer. I'm glad he's able to complete this project because he started during his first tenure. Congratulations to the governor and Oyo people.

Not on banks alone. Most crypto tokens are pegged to physical assets, including fiat. There several tokens pegged to precious stones like gold and other valuable assets. There are tokens that are equivalent to 1kg gold, a barrel of Crude oil, a ton of wheat and sugar, and so on...

Don't fall for this, it's one of those fake liquidity/cloud mining site. Upon signing up, you'll be given huge amount of USDT. They usually have withdrawal cap with respect to your deposit. These scams are usually orchestrated by Asians because their withdrawal durations are usually pegged to Philippines, Chinese, and some other countries in the continent. They begin with TRX but they gradually moved to USDT when people are no more falling for them.

The account owner has probably withdrew his capital deposit if he's prudent enough not to commit too much of his asset to them. If he hasn't (because most of these scammers now rug pull few days after launch), then whatever you're seeing can't be withdrawn and the page will cease to exist in few days.

Here's how their withdrawal works.
To be eligible for 24 hours withdrawal, you'll have to make a minimum deposit they would have included on their page. Some offer from 3 to 5% withdrawal, i.e., you'll be able to withdraw 3% or whatever percentage of your deposit every 24 hrs. Within 40 days you would have made your capital and started earning if withdrawal is still active.

These scams are obvious and I don't expect anyone but newbies to fall for them. Gone are the days when these guys are patient and wait for people to over-rely on them and make larger deposits before they rug pull. These days, they rug pull few days into it and rush to create another similar one.

Slow down bro, Covid lockdown made GameFi tokens go wild and bullish. The Decentraland is overhyped; no reasonable activity going on on the Metaverse. This means no use case. Tokens without use cases will crash, even in the advent of another bull run.

Go for tokens with reasonable use cases, rather than meme coins and tokens that thrived based on hype.

t there at 722 naira.

My hard earned money just lost like that

I just deleted the app... If they like let them make it drop to N400

Crypto have really delt with me

Last year it was one merchant token that ripped me off $2000
Then Shiba Inu ripped me $1200

Anytime I do anything crypto related I lose money

Will anyone advice me to sell my USDT now at 722 and accept my loss or wait untill December if Naira will lose value further to say N900 to a dollar

Will dollar be scarce in December?

Honest opinions

You missed a lot things, you probably don't understand crypto to such extent of going all in.

Anyway what you have is impermanent loss which can be recovered if you know your onions. Volatility makes crypto risky, invest your time in exploring ways to recover your loss, but don't sell that USDT. BTC hasn't reach its last bottom yet, with the current FGI, enthusiasts are calling for 12k-15k. You should have an opportunity window there if you know your onions.

Only sell what will sustain you and invest in reliable projects like BNB and ETH. If you are wild, go for BTC, but don't buy now, wait till December.

This is not any financial advice, just some random logics.

Please the crypto space has been so volatile don't keep your money on centralized exchanges like binance use cold wallets like trustwallet and metamask or buy hardware wallets like ledger or trezor. Check what happened to cex like ftx recently

Soq! What happened to FTX was a coordinated attack. He holds no single BTC and used FTT to back FTT, who does that? It's much like his token has no liquidity. As if that wasn't enough, he allegedly withdrew $300M from FTX weeks ago. This is similar to how Do Kwon of Luna was also making withdrawals every week before Luna crashed.

Sam Bankman-Fried was also bankrolling Joe Biden re-election, even with his administration's hostility to cryptocurrency. A video of SBF surfaced online where he was clearly antagonizing crypto, how can you poo in the same pot that is feeding you?

What led to SBF fall was him trying to seem to outshine CZ. SBF was posing FTX as a threat to Binance, CZ had to pull out when Coinbase published FTX balance sheet. Dude lost almost $400M (if not more) in the Luna crash and he's not ready to be a liquidity to another modern rug pull.

CEX will thrive, they should just be open with their sheet and liquidity. They've started publishing their reserve audit to allay investors' fear. That's a good move to ease out irresponsible project.

Thumbs up. Late Professor Olasehinde was a 3rd class graduate, he did his Pgd in Israel and he did well for himself to become a renowned professor of Geophysics in Nigeria. 3rd class or 4th class, what matters is what you can offer to your employers' upgrading via whatever services you can render. Empirically, many first class and 2.2 are good at passing exams than applying what they got A for in real life, some are very good with studying but oblivion of the application of what they were thought. How would one explain a first class Electrical student that couldn't fix 'just 100W bulb? How would you understand a first class Animal production and Health graduate that can't even carry a chick ? What actually matters is what you can offer to the public and/or your employer. These days, if you're smart enough during your interview, you stand a chance of making your interviewer question how you had 3rd class with your smartness.

Islam for Muslims / Re: He Wants To Attribute His Child From His Second Wife To His First Wife. by AbooTasleemah1(m): 3:59pm On Sep 20, 2020
smallrincowis16:
Question

I am married and my wife no longer gets her menses. Is it permissible, according to Islam, to marry another wife with the aim of taking an egg from her and implanting it in the uterus of my current wife, and producing a child who will be kept by my current wife, and we will attribute him to us? If that is not permissible, is it permissible for me to marry a woman so that she will bear me a child in the natural way, and I will attribute him to myself and my current wife, after his birth mother agrees to that?

Answer

Praise be to Allah.

Firstly:

The first idea, of implanting an egg from one woman into the uterus of another woman, is not permissible. A statement was issued by the Islamic Fiqh Council concerning the issue of implanting a fertilised egg from a couple into the uterus of another woman, stating that this is not permissible, even if the woman in whom the egg is implanted is the second wife of the husband himself.

Secondly:

The child can only be attributed to his real parents. Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“nor has He made your adopted sons your real sons. That is but your saying with your mouths. But Allah says the truth, and He guides to the (Right) Way.

Call them (adopted sons) by (the names of) their fathers, that is more just with Allah”

[al-Ahzab 33:4, 5].

Based on that, it is not permissible to attribute the child to anyone but his real mother who gave birth to him. This is the kind of adoption that is prohibited. That is because attributing him to someone other than his real mother may result in negative consequences, one of which is that he would inherit from that woman on the basis that she is his mother, when in fact she is not, and this would be a transgression of people’s rights. Moreover, people may regard that child as a mahram of someone for whom he is not a mahram, such as a maternal uncle or aunt, or vice versa.

Conclusion:

It is not permissible for you to seek to have a child in the manner mentioned. It is also not permissible for you to marry another woman so that you can attribute her child to your first wife.

You have other, permissible means of having a child, such as marrying a second wife. In that case, if Allah blesses you with children from her, there is no reason why the first wife cannot take care of the upbringing of some of the children of the second wife, as a way of bringing her comfort and consolation by having children around her. If it is not possible to marry a second wife, but you can take care of an orphan, then we advise you to try to do that, but without attributing the child to yourself or to your wife, unless she actually gave birth to him.

We ask Allah to bestow upon you righteous offspring, for He is able to do that.

And Allah knows best.

Asalamu 'alaykum wa RahmatuLlaah!
The first answer provided regarding taking egg from a wife and giving it to the other wife is not entirely correct. I remember listening to Shaykh Ibraheem AbdurRauf (Abu Naasir) HafidhauLlaah in one of his explanations of the 40 hadeeth of Imam (Abu Zakariyya bin Sharafudeen) Nawawi. This discussion came up while discussing and explaining the fourth hadeeth of the book which entails creation of human. The Shaykh further explains stages of creation from cradle point of procreation (sexual intercourse). He then extends to surrogate motherhood, artificial insemination and the likes with their permissibility. The point of reference is that, from amongst the sharee'ah rulings of scholars he read and explained was that you can actually take an egg from a woman and fertilized it, then plant it to another woman's womb provided that both women are legally married to one husband, And also with the permission and submission of the two women involved. This act from the donor was regarded as trying to ease the affairs of her brethren (fellow Muslim woman) in terms of being hopeful to become a mother and giving her hope of tranquility. There are other conditions attached to the permissibility of this like being carried out by a Muslim doctor and the likes. I suggest we seek more clarification on this from notable or verse scholars around us. May Allaah Grant us all success.
