There is nothing like batch, Pls take note.

In 2007 PSC started a recruitment 4 specialist cadet inspectors & cadet ASPs d process lasted up 2 2009 d successful candidate started training 2010, d reason given 4 d delay was attributed 2 d deplorable state of infrastrutures at d training institutions dat needed 2b upgrade b4 dey were admitted. God forbid it would not be d same 4 us. But i'm sure dat d reason behind dis delay may not be unconnected wit logistics problem etc. So lets hope & pray!

aluta2: DURATION:- Both cadet ASPs and cadet Inspectors programmes run for 72 weeks i.e. (18 months) and it is segmented into three stages; namely: Basic stage last for six (6) months. Intermediate stage for six (6) months and advanced stage for six (6) months. COURSES: - Throughout the 18 months duration; the cadets are taken through the following courses. A. BASIC STAGE SIX (6) MONTHS:- 1. Documentation/screening, attestation and oath taking 2. Drill courses 3. Police Duties 4. Laws, criminal law of evidence and criminal procedure 5. Four (4) weeks first - Aid lay lectures 6. One month attachment B. INTERMEDIATE STAGE SIX (6) MONTHS 1. Drill courses 2. Police Duties 3. Laws, criminal law of evidence and criminal procedure 4. Four (4) weeks first - Aid lay lecture courses 5. Four (4) weeks detective courses. 6. Four (4) weeks citizenship and leadership training course. C. ADVANCE STAGE SIX (6) MONTHS 1. Drill courses 2. Police Duties 3. Laws, criminal law of evidence and criminal procedure 4. Four (4) weeks Police mobile force training 5. One (1) week Police educational visit 6. Four (4) weeks interview 7. Four (4) weeks passing out parade practice (POP) After the training, the cadets are passed out as ASPs and Inspectors respectively and are posted to state commands to undergo another one year attachment to acquire practical experience before they are finally allowed to stand on their own. The selection into the Academy is done on quota basis i.e. each state of the federation is given an equal number of slots, e.g. 12 persons from each state. Selection starts from the state level to zonal level and finally the Force Headquarters Abuja. The Police service commission has the sole responsibility of appointment into the Nigeria Police force, application forms are obtainable from the Police service commission or Force Headquarters websites after advertisement in National News, the Media and websites.

4 d 1st time 2 specialist was promoted 2 d rank of AIGs a Pharmacist & a V/DOCTOR check PSC site 4 update d news report was date 02/08/2012. So 4 now on i don't tink there are any highest rank 4 professionals/specialist they can even become DIG/IG. Tanks

I strongly believe dat d list released 4 phy/med screening did'nt reflect QUOTA SYSTEM, Since dat is so PSC would want 2 make up 4 those states 2 aviod protest 4rm dis states. It was stated by Ms Obi 31st of december on punch news paper dat "PSC Would ensure at recruitment stage quota system is considered but promotion would be base on merit". I strongly believe dat PSC is on d right track, lets be fair in our judgements & comments. Indeed Nigeria & Nigerians including PSC is turning 4 beta. God is Love.
