AgricultureRe: What My Neighbor said When she Saw These Crops I Sack Planted. by Abufo: 7:11pm On May 10
Caaz:
10days ago I sack planted 40 sacks of yam seedling on top a sewage pit....the job was very tedious and actually I fell under the weather.

Only for this my rose the nosy neighbor to corner me and asked me to take them of that the weight of the sands are going to sink the sewage pit.

I rejected her verdict.because it was recently plastered by me for this sole purpose.

She sad because she did same and hers collapsed .i told her that mine is entirely different.thanked her then walked away.

Interesting to chip in that...this same nosy neighbor has this penchant for finishing all my veggies for free.

I really want to know if the sewage is really going to collapse due to the fact that it's raining season.
What happens when the sacks absorb excess rainwater? Try to squeeze some of the bags into the available space within the compound!
Foreign AffairsRe: Nigerian Doctor To Pay $1m Fine For Cutting Down Trees by Abufo: 7:49am On May 09
adenigga:
Oakland’s City Council has voted that a Nigerian medical doctor, Matthew Bernard, and his wife will pay a fine of nearly $1m for felling 38 legally protected trees on and around their Claremont Avenue property in the United States.

A California-based media platform, KQED, reported that more than 20 residents at a public hearing on Tuesday demanded enforcement of Oakland’s tree protection laws.

They argued that the leafy canopies of the trees in the area were important for wildfire prevention, public health and environmental equity.

Diaspora Tales reported last month that Bernard and his partner, Lynn Warner, said they removed trees from their property on an arborist’s advice.

At the hearing on Tuesday, the Nigerian medical expert told the council that the trees removed from his property nearly four years ago were “dead, dying, leaning,” or in “hazardous condition.”

The city, however, disagreed and fined Bernard and Warner $915,135.40 and placed a claim on their property that would prevent them from developing or selling the land until the fine was paid.

Defending the fine, a community tree specialist, Erys Gagnez, said, “Trees of that size are not commercially available for replacement. Even with replanting, it will take decades, even centuries, to restore the ecological and protective functions that were lost. The scale of the fine reflects this reality.”

PoliticsRe: Enugu Water Scarcity Has Again Embarrassed Nigeria: Picture by Abufo: 6:52am On Apr 21
FOXDOSSIER:
A popular Ugandan blogger has complained about water scarcity in Enugu after touring the town on her streaming tour.

“She complained that she couldn’t shower due to water scarcity in the hotel where she lodged in Enugu.”

Water scarcity in Enugu has prompted Enugu residents to resort to self-help by scooping water from gutters and wells to meet their water needs.

Enugu has been suffering from water scarcity for decades since it was created as a state.

I saw the video on Facebook.

It's shocking how our security operatives cannot hastily trace, arrest, prosecute these animals, but they can locate well-meaning Nigerians in minutes because of an online post.

Isn't this weird?

These Fulani Islamic extremists and terrorists have become bolder in recent times. Can you imagine that they now operate social media accounts with their pictures and videos emblazoned everywhere?

Oh! Just remembered. I also saw a picture of a policeman allegedly in a picture with this terrorist!

I've said elsewhere that the government lacks the willpower to fix Nigeria's security challenges. This lack of willpower isn't just a Tinubu problem. It's traceable to previous leaders, notwithstanding the political platform they operated from.

As someone that has travelled to one or two places within and outside this continent, I can safely conclude that in this part of the world, human life has got absolutely no value!

Black man. Black brain. Black mind. Greedy, self-centred heart. Shortsightedness. Religious bigots. Trabalists. Nepotists.

PoliticsRe: Who Looks More Like A Pig? – Fani-Kayode And Dele Momodu Clash Again by Abufo: 4:39am On Mar 21
Ofunaofu:
A fierce war of words erupted on social media between former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode (FFK), and veteran journalist and former Presidential candidate, Dele Momodu, over alleged insults and political grievances.

The feud escalated on Thursday when Fani-Kayode took to his Facebook page to respond to claims made by Momodu, whom he described in biting terms as “a love-vendor” and a “sidekick” to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. Fani-Kayode accused Momodu of harboring an “inferiority complex” and criticized his career, recalling his days as a journalist and his failed Presidential bid.

Fani-Kayode wrote, in part: “You called me a pig yet look at yourself in the mirror and tell me who looks more like a pig between you and I. Your profound ugliness, fat stomach, and lack of good breeding is your greatest torment. You were nothing, you are nothing, and you will never be anything but Atiku’s sidekick.”

Cheap ronu sophistry........they are both working for Tinubu !

He further emphasized his current focus on serving the nation, pointing to President Bola Tinubu’s ongoing diplomatic engagements in the United Kingdom as evidence of his continued relevance in the corridors of power.

In response, Dele Momodu, via his X (formerly Twitter) handle, called Fani-Kayode a “classic case of a wasted investment” and an “outright and incurable thug,” referencing Fani-Kayode’s elite education, including Cambridge University, which he said did not prevent him from developing what Momodu described as a “strange malady” of constant conflict and aggression.

Momodu added: “For Femi, it is a fulfillment of a long-expected appointment… Femi without power is like fish out of water. It is such a pity that now that Tinubu has finally looked at his side, with mercy and compassion, he is still busy fighting, like a pig, instead of seeking urgent rehabilitation into the comity of sane human beings.”

The exchange highlights the personal and political animosity between the two figures, who have long been involved in Nigeria’s political and media landscape. While Fani-Kayode continues to assert his position as a key political actor, Momodu’s response frames the feud as a cautionary reflection on temperament and behavior.

As of Thursday, the verbal sparring had yet to de-escalate, with both parties maintaining their positions in the public eye.

Some of the key US and Israel goals/missions for attacking Iran has been achieved.

1.) The head of the Snake, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei have been eliminated in a humiliating way after all the noise and bragging, he was deleted like a house fly.

2.) Iran's Islamic terrorist regime's key military commanders and leaders have all been eliminated.

3.) Iran's capability to develop a nuclear weapon have been greatly hampered.

4.) Iran's entire naval fleet have been wiped out.

5.) Iran's Airforce fleet have also been wiped out almost 100%

6.) Iran's ballistic, hypotonic and in fact missile arsenal have been 70% depleted

7.) Iran's economy have been completely obliterated and it would take them decades to recover without the help of America the world superpower nations.

8.) Iran's air defense systems have been wiped out, Iran right now have no defense, Israeli jet fighter pilots now dance Awilo logomba in Iran's airspace like it's anniversary celebration cheesy

Mind you, America is not fighting Iran as a country, they are only Policing Iranian Islamic terrorist leadership by flogging them small to bring them to order.

So Trump can even call off the war today and the mission will still be classified as "accomplished"!
I wish it was true .......unfortunately the war has just started.......! Fun Facts.......Iran is nearly twice the size of Nigeria or even more! It has a population approaching 95 million! they fought a brutal war with Iraq , that lasted 8 years! To make matters worse...they are shia muslims.......these are people who gash and stab themselves with daggers ...when they mourn their caliph! pain and agony is joy for them! we all are in one big trouble, world war 3 has officially started! Begin to store food, water and medicine......its gonna be a long ride!

PoliticsRe: Mr President & Nat. Assembly, push for REGIONAL POLICE instead of State Police by Abufo: 2:15am On Feb 28
Babanah:
We don’t need State Police. People tend to refer to countries like the USA as examples. Local police in the USA are the most useless in terms of policing. Remember the incident that sparked off the black lives matter protests. NYPD, LAPD all have problems. Same thing in Brazil where Federal Police has an overwhelming presence.
What we need is a hybrid arrangement. In terms of control, the federal government is allowed to appoint state commissioners of police after consulting the state Governor. If the the governor is not happy with the performance of the police commissioner he has the right to declare at statement of no confidence in the police commissioner which must lead to his replacement.
Funding must be provided by the three tiers of government. The state police commissioner budget is funded by the three tiers of government. The federal government may focus on personnel costs while the state and local government focus on capital expenditure. Like building rehabilitation of police stations, providing IT systems with the state, vehicles and other equipments.
The lower cadre of police officers should be residents of the state.
State Police is not a silver bullet.
The state already have well armed vigilante service......we may as well formalize their existence! Meanwhile we all know the feudal north has used the Nigerian police and even army to further their not so well hidden jihadi agenda! let us have a balance of coercive forces!
