They never tore the eagles apart please.....most of the games were exceptionally close! The only massive defeat they inflicted on us ...was the 1984 nations cup final 3-1 defaet they handed to us .............we also handed them some good defeats too. Their victories were actually more crucial though!!!

The problem actually is not the Northerners but the hateful Southern tribes wishing the current administration bad. If they like let them scream "didn't we warn you" from now till 2027, it won't make their fake messiah president. Our people should start looking inwards, clean up Lagos and make the State fit for Capital incase of any incasity.
If the South Easterners like they should not go home now and develop, let them continue roaming about like people without home. When push comes to shove, una go pack una belongings go that land wey una abandon for years and live by force.

Actually the southeast quality of life trumps that of most parts of your so called Nigeria! One Nigeria for now ..till you peoople get tired of stealing our oil and gas!

Akwa ibom has the best aerotopolis in Nigeria......airport, aircraft repair hanger plus a solid airline........and they do not belittle others! So Eko airlines will not fly to other "poor" parts of Nigeria........or is it going to be flying from Lekki to yakoyo, alimosho,Ojo,badagry and ikeja??

Nobody or nowhere is a parasite in Nigeria ...the problem is some sections of the country using the privilege positions attained after the civil war to oppress and keep others down!!! This is a massive blind spot most yorubas have!

Politics / Re: Nnamdi Kanu Abandons Biafra Agitation, Seeks “Genuine Restructuring” Of Nigeria by Abufo: 10:35pm On Jan 25
Thissystem:
There are strong indications that leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, seems to have abandoned his secession agenda.

In a recent letter conveyed by his brother, Prince Emmanuel after a meeting with the IPOB leader at the Department of State Services (DSS) headquarters, Kanu was quoted to have said that he is not opposed to any “genuine restructuring” of Nigeria along the lines of the 1963 Constitution.

Kanu insisted that those opposed to the holistic restructuring of Nigeria should have a change of heart.

Kanu’s letter partly reads:
“We are not averse to the genuine restructuring of the country. We know that the country cannot grow or make progress under the current unworking unitary structure. The facts are clear for all to see.

“Our position remains the same as our submission in the presence of Prof. Ben Nwabueze, and Evangelist Elliot Ugochukwu-Uko on 30th August 2017 at the meeting with the South East Governors in Enugu. We have no reason to add or subtract from our position six years ago.

“We reiterate that we are not opposed to a consensual but wholesome restructuring of the country along the 1963 constitution.

Most nairalanders always post out of ignorance.........go and watch Nnamdi kanu's BBC Igbo interview of circa 2018................there is no difference between his stand in 2018 and 2024.............The interview was conducted in igbo and was subtitled in English.........Summary.....after his release on bail kanu had a meeting with ohaneze and the southeast governors, he was asked to step down his Biafra agitation but he said he would only do that if ohaneze could extract a promise cum agreement from Buhari that a seaport was built or an existing developed into a viable commercial port for the southeast and south south, that an international airport established with viable international flight schedules, secon niger bridge completed and discussion started on a national conference for restructuring..........the southeast governors promised to take his demands to Buhari...........who of course ordered the attack on his home in late 2017........destroying any further talks on his demand! This is exactly what Kanu has reiterated and you are here peddling your vicarious imagination as facts.........I do not know why Nigerians lie a lot!

Politics / Re: Betta Edu: Tunji Ojo Should Resign by Abufo: 1:33pm On Jan 10
uniquetechng:
Tunji-Ojo should resign just as Barth Nnaji resigned as minister of power in 2012, in the case of Nnaji he didn't even siphoned money from the ministry's account like over N423m was paid to Tunji-Ojo company but it was only discovered that he had a relationship with Geometric Electric Limited, one of the companies that hidden for Afam and Enugu Generation Company at the time.

Barth had resigned from the company long before he became minister, but he was still forced to resign as that's the honorable thing to do.

New Planet Projects Limited has just two major shareholders, Olabunmi and his wife and he is the majority shareholder there the owner of the said company.

New Planet Projects Limited wouldn't have gotten such N423m consultancy contract with his involvement.

Therefore the honorable thing to do is for Tunji-Ojo to resign his position as the ministry of interior.

That is not the honorable thing to do..........it was a wrong move and it probably cost Jonathan the one shining star in his cabinet.........the man made a full disclosure and put his shares into a blind trust. .abi? The way it is done in the USA........but fake virtue signaling and fake outrage pushed this exceptionally talented professor out of government............since then the power supply situation became worse sef! That Tunji guy is one yoruba man that seems ready to walk his talk.........If Gandollar was given a slap on the wrist....let us give one to Tunji as well.......the young man is effective! All the fulani looting that went on under Buhari how many of you complain.....

Politics / Re: Industrialization Of Igbo Land by Abufo: 1:12pm On Jan 10
Tinububalls:
Let's discuss please.
Personally I feel the diaspora force with agreement and support from the southeast Governor's forum can bring a spontaneous change in Alaigbo.

If our brothers and sisters living in diaspora can form bodies or organisations with the sole main of industrialisation and human capital development, with funds to build strategic hubs and infrastructures, they can organise meetings with the eastern governors, soliciting for their help in the part of roads, rails or any government intervention needed in the proposed project.
NOTE: Money donated to the cause of Biafra would have done a lot in Alaigbo physically, economically and even help unify the Igbo race for a better Igbo nation.
I love Alaigbo.

.Another clueless post! Is it not when you secure, your land that talk on what investment you want to put up on it can start? The lack of strategic depth in our thinking sometimes leaves me baffled..........you have not secured one international airport worthy of its name.....no strategic gas pipeline, no dry ports, no PowerPoint, no steel mills,no railway lines................Nigeria is a rough neighborhood...nice guys always lose. ....leave our ESN and IPOB bad boys alone........agafu nwere Job!

Politics / Re: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by Abufo: 11:32pm On Jan 08
MrEverest:

This mindset of yours is exactly my own believe until reality hit! I will explain.

It seems there is a deliberate plan from the government to frustrate Akanu Ibiam International airport Enugu and make it unviable. Either that or Ethiopian airlines are criminals sabotaging that route.

The low traffic AIIA Enugu is experiencing is due to deliberate sabotage by Ethiopian airlines or federal government wicked policies.

Could you believe that I wanted to book an international flight from Enugu to one of the cities in South East Asia only for Ethiopian airline to bill me over 3 million naira! For a one way ticket! The outrageous figure made me to check other routes and even other airlines and the result shocked me.

All the international airports in Nigeria including Lagos, Abuja, P.H and Kano charged significantly less than Enugu route. Sometimes, 3x less for same destination!

The same route Ethiopian airlines charged me 3m+ was what I got for a little above 1m from Qatar airways via P.H airport! That's three times lower than Enugu!

For someone based in Owerri, P.H is next door yet as a patriotic Igbo man, I would definitely prefer using Enugu that is farther away if the ticket prices were same or even a little higher for Enugu. But 3x higher is madness and a complete ripoff!

Now I understand why many Igbos don't make use of AIIA Enugu. That airport would definitely be getting 5x it's current traffic if not for this sabotage. Most travellers making use of P.H, Abuja and Lagos international airports are still Igbos and half of them would likely use Enugu if not for this sabotage.

Ndigbo to a large extent are suffering from one mighty dose of stockholm syndrome.........we are so much in love with our oppressors!

That is how Ethiopian airlines packed us into a Boeing 737 for a 6 plus hours flight from Enugu to Adis Ababa for an onward flight to Washington DC last summer! Even the B777 to DC was a living hell........it was packed full with economy passengers everywhere the eyes could see! Ethiopian airways is good for what it is designed for......cheap air transport for relatively poor Africans especially Ethiopians............Ndigbo I know aspire for far better things..............Unfortunately Nigeria as presently constituted is not ready to emancipate Ndigbo.............If we want liberation from a 3rd colonization by Yorubas,we better get ready for one big struggle to free ourselves....I have said my bit!
